"Nice to meet you Nyx," John said. He notice that they were back in the lobby and now Nyx was slowly heading North, almost as if she wanted to see if he was on board. Sure. At least someone had an idea of where they were going, even if it was a bit vague. His stomach growled as they began trekking north and he wondered how long it had been since he'd been dragged out of his home, his brother screaming profanities at the elementals who had him captive.

John smiled as the girl relayed her feelings about their new "home. "That's really optimistic. Me, I might think of it as my parents were a little too eager to get rid of me. But then again I was eager to leave," John said. Talking about his parents made him think about Roger. What was his twin brother doing right now. They had been almost inseperable since birth and now they were who knows how far away. God damn all the Nexus and the Sethos for this stupid war and those stupid extermination camps. Why couldn't he have just been a normal elemental like Roger. Nothing to worry about. Suddenly John snapped back to reality and looked at the girl with his deep, cyan eyes. "I'm John by the way. John Elliot of Elpis."

John watched as the man semi explained this place to them and then left. He looked around at the others. He seemed to be one of the few who came from money. most of the others wore clothes that were nothing like his obviously expensive flannel shirt and jeans. These were the clothes he had had before the war. Before clothes became the last thing he worried about. He followed close behind the girl who was leading them to food and he soon fell into stride next to her. "You seem pretty chill with this place. Isn't any of this freaking you out?" he asked as the man walked away, having just explained that they'd still have school. Great he couldn't even get away from that boring hellhole.
