Pft we just sent a giant to the Duat. Nothing too major lol
John shook his head at Teddy's comment. "Teddy I'm not crazy. I'm certifiably insane. There's a difference," John said matter of factly with a large grin plastered on his face.
John walked off as Myra began interrogating the giant. He noticed a crowd walking towards the stables and he ran to catch up. When he arrived he saw Chiron, cut up, bruised, and lying on the ground. Gods this was bad. "Chiron are you alright?" John asked, kneeling beside his mentor.
John nodded as Sam brushed off her summer. He knew her house wasn't the best and he felt bad for asking. "Well you know stuff. My Uncle George got me a job at WWW so I made a few galleons. My dad brought me to work a couple of times and I played a lot of Quidditch. Like a lot," John said, laughing as he remembered his summer.
John glared at Charles. "I'm sorry what was that? I don't speak imbecile," John said, walking over to Myra. He'd never liked Charles and had mistrusted him since they'd met. But Chiron refused to kick him out so he was stuck with him. He got to Myra and with an inquisitive look on his face asked, "Why are you shielding that thing?"
John had rarely felt true terror. Once when he was eight and watched as his father was eaten alive by spiders, and most recently when an arrow had nicked his ear during training. Now, as the giant lumbered towards him, he trembled. Ever so sightly and just for a moment, he shook. He watched as the ground burned in front of the giant. He saw Ian had shadow traveled and had a god idea of what he was planning. He waited until the burning ground was right in front of him and then he rolled out of the way, praying that Ian would show up in time to deal with the monster.
Yah Hagrid can still be there. Lawl. Just thought of Hagrid dressed up as Santa.
John smiled at Sam as she hopped in the carriage and she teased him. He'd gotten used to it over the years and now it was sort of a game they played. "What? Oh I'm sorry I didn't see you there," John said in a mockingly snobbish voice. He laughed and said, "I'm just kidding. How was your summer by the way? I don't think I asked you on the train."
John was going over battle strategies when he heard the roar. "Gods what is that?!" John shouted, looking out the window at the red glow. He heard the conch and quickly suited up, slinging his bow onto his shoulder and pulling his ring off of his finger, causing it to transform into a celestial gold sword with an owl head on the pommel. He rushed out of the cabin, with his half-siblings following him. He saw the Forger wreak havoc and watched as Austin, a delegate from Camp Jupiter, stopped Ian Blacreek, a child of Morpheus. He stopped a flaming log from crushing them with his telekinesis and moved it a few feet away from them where it crashed in a flurry of sparks. He racked his brain for ways to kill this thing and finally thought of something. They'd need to take it into the lake. In a battle against fire and water, water wins. He sprinted towards the lake, slower than normal after saving the two demigods with his power. When he arrived he shouted, "Hey! Mr.Forger! Why don't you come screw with me!" He waved his arms around, hoping to get the monsters attention. If all went well, he'd lead the giant over to the lake where he'd fall in and hopefully die. Hopefully.
