@LetsFly I'm glad to hear you're feeling pumped up! I'm leaving starting until tomorrow because I don't want to rush out an intro post tonight. I'd like to go at it with a fresh head early tomorrow and have it ready for you guys.

I am also looking forward to getting this going, should be fun.
@Zora Good to know, well from looking at the cast so far I have high hopes it will be!
My pleasure. {: Welcome to EDEN.

@Americore @LetsFly @Zora @Grammatik; You guys happy enough to keep it open for the first while or do you feel like you need/would like some kind of overarching plot right off the bat?

EDIT: I plan on starting this thing by tomorrow at the latest, all according to plan anywho.
Posting it here is fine, let's turn the occupation into 'Systems Engineer' just to give it a name more than Technology and take one letter number off your ID and we're all good. Otherwise you can post it in the character tab.
@Zora Certainly, write up a CS and let's give it a look!
@ArenaSnow

Thanks, bud. {:
@Americore @LetsFly @Grammatik Post the CS' from interest check into the character tab when you're ready. Welcome to EDEN.

Commander's Log

It's been 14 years since arrival at the Moon's surface and construction of EDEN began. Currently the outpost stands at 83% self-sufficiency, estimates and efforts to put at 90% by the year's end. Spirits are generally high and cheerful, systems checks continue to point to an all clear. Mission success rate - 65%, no problems of note with systems and controls. Research continues to grow by the day thanks to the combined effort of EDEN's Science Bloc. No known or reported 'accidents' in 60 days. 14 years now and there's no plans for my return to Earth, Hermann and Porter have moved onto other missions there's Mars to be explored, then Jupiter. But I can't forget her, maybe one day I'll go back, maybe I'll see her, maybe I'll die trying. Grahams, signing off.

"Welcome to EDEN. I know not all of you are new to the outpost, some of you have been here from the beginning. This marks a truly triumphant achievement in human history and space exploration, what all of us and the boys and girls back home have worked to achieve. We are on the brink of a new dawn, going forth into the breach of a new era doing what no one and nothing before us has ever done or could hope of doing.

Make no mistake, we are the pioneers and heroes of tomorrow who pave the way for humanity to not only understand the mysteries of our universe but to harness it's potential with our determination and ability. Nearly a hundred years on from our original venture into outer space, we have taken the first step to making ourselves a two-planet species, helping to secure and ensure humanity's survival into the future. I am very proud, of every single one of you.

In the coming months and years, EDEN will continue to grow and expand in an effort to create our true first off-planet colony, operating by our laws, morals and ideals. Keep up the good work and roll safe.
"

Current Events

In the underbelly of EDEN, sub-basement level under the docking station Grahams and Musgrave were meeting with a handful of science officers on the team who were going to operate the newest model of the pressurized rover on a moonscape exploration run. The rover was impressive, fairly large and heavy but compensated for by the moon's gravity. It was easily big enough to while maybe not comfortably, house six or seven people for the three days the oxygen supply would last them. The exterior was lightly armored against any chance mini showers of moon rock, far from a severe beat down this piece of machinery was going to be fine.

While a science officer left to find Tommy for his list of recommendations, Musgrave had his own nominee for the mission, and went to the loading bay to find Riker.
