Hey Close, interested in joining this. :P

Reese had been quiet for most of the interactions when it came to the vault, he really didn't have anything to add, he didn't know about opening vaults and he certainly didn't know about the item they had made that was supposed to get it open, though he'd try his best to help in anyway he could.

He had been surprised when another person had shouted at them about the vault, finding it odd he would claim it as his and couldn't help but agree when the point was brought up about his name not being anywhere on the blasted thing. To Reese, it seemed like this guy was going to be trouble, just from how things were starting off anyways, but he would see, along with the rest of the group what the man with the loud mouth wanted.

He continued to listen to the interactions between everyone, slowly getting his rifle and held it in his hands, ejecting the magazine subtly to check how many bullets he had left before quietly pushing it back in his gun. 'Darn, should've bought some ammo when we were in Davenport,' He thought to himself when he saw there was only about five bullets left, it having slipped his mind because of the attack they had went through, oh well, he'd make it work if he had too.

Reese tested his ankle, putting a bit of weight on it, wincing slightly, his ankle was still sore, but not as bad as before, though he didn't expect his injury to be healed up in one day, at least he might be able to run on it, though he doubted for very long. “What exactly do you mean by sending us back to the Stone Age, friend?” He couldn't help but ask, not knowing much about the history of the old world's past, though it seemed like a bluff, at least to him, one thing he knew for sure however was that if the taunting and what seemed like threats kept happening, it wouldn't be long for a new party to get started.
Sorry for the lack of posting, was a combination of being busy and not having much to say at the time, will be posting soon though.

He smiled at the comment Crest made, “Well you shouldn't need to worry about that with us, at least I think so, I can't fully speak for the others, but they seem okay.” He joked slightly. His attention soon returning back to them discussing the vault, though he'd be lying if he said he understood what they were talking about, long range rifles and medicine he understood, but this stuff they were discussing, well it was mostly flying over his head.

“Look, if you guys need help getting that vault open, I could lend a hand in whatever capacity possible, least I could do for having help against those thugs after me.” He couldn't help but speak up when they were discussing how to proceed with the vault. He wasn't the type to just sit around and not do anything, he wanted to feel useful in one manner or another, besides he felt he owed it to them after the town was attacked, sure he didn't directly do it, but him being there only added more danger thanks to the bandits that hunted him down.

He glanced at Crest when she introduced herself, though the group seemed to be preoccupied with discussing the vault he quietly said to her, “No need to force if you're not comfortable with it, just relax and take your time, besides I think they're just concerned with the vault at the moment, it's all they've been talking about for a bit now.” He smiled to her once more.

He chuckled as he heard her explain her name, “Well, you seem nice enough, so I think that's the important thing, besides it's probably only temporary amnesia and your name will come back in a few days.” He took back his canteen, seeing that she was a bit nervous, “Hey, don't worry, they're pretty nice, well at least from the short time I've known them they've been nice to me for the most part, I'm sure they'll be the same with you.”

He soon started to make his way back to the group with her, curious as to who the man was that they were talking too, “So who's your friend?” He didn't really ask anyone specifically, more just trying to catch up on the situation at hand, glancing over at Crest just to see how she was doing, he couldn't help but think how her amnesia story was similar to his, save for the specifics of course.

Reese couldn't help but smirk a little and shake his head, well at least it wasn't a no, though perhaps she was just tired from yesterday or didn't particularly care, either way, he didn't want to just leave the woman all on her own. “Yeah, our 'adventure',” He used air quotes for that word, “Ended up giving me a wound in my shoulder and ankle.” He spoke as he motioned to the spots he had been shot, “Though it was partially my fault.” He gently chuckled.

“Oh, the NCR is the New California Republic, they're set up in the west, I think I was with them for some time, all I have to really confirm it is my dog tags.” He responded, pulling the chain out from his shirt to show her.

When she mentioned that she was thirsty, he pulled out his canteen, offering it to her, “I don't have a lot in here, maybe half full, but you can have some if you'd like and don't worry about it, you don't seem like bad company.” He smiled to her. When she mentioned her name, he didn't really think it odd, plenty of people had odd names, he heard stranger than that, “Well I guess you do remember your name at least, that's a good start.” He didn't really mind if it was fake or not, she probably had her own story and whether she remembered it or not, he wouldn't try to pull information out of her, not that his gentle nature really allowed it, but she seemed a bit on edge as it was, so it was probably for the best.

“If you want, we can go over to the others now, your choice, I won't force you.” He smiled, pointing his thumb to the rest of the group talking to the man.

“Well at least you survived it, had a run in with some bandits myself yesterday then later they showed up and attacked the town we came from as well as a group of raiders and a beast, that was pretty hectic.” He smiled to her then added, “Well sounds like a case of amnesia, sort have that myself, all I really know is that I think I was with the NCR and my name of course.” He found her company to be pleasant and she seemed nice enough.

He couldn't help but chuckle at her next comment, “Yes well you probably bleed just the right amount.” He joked to her before looking back at the commotion once more, Glancing at Eden's comment he responded, “Yeah, I think so.” Looking back to the woman, “Are you able to walk? If you have no where else to go, I don't think the others would mind you tagging along with us.” Reese offered, not really declaring himself the group leader, he just felt it wouldn't be right leaving someone injured and in an amnesiac state all by themselves.

He glanced over at Eden, “Will you be okay with her joining us?” From the very short time he knew her, okay acquainted with her, he could tell she was protective of her sister, so he wouldn't be surprised if she had grievances with a stranger tagging along.

“Wow, another doctor, don't really find that many out here in the wastes, nice to meet you, I'm Reese.” He spoke to the woman as he went to approach her and try to examine her injuries, “Do you know what happened to you?” He added, though he ha d a few guesses, most of the wastes were covered by all sorts of hazards, but bandits were usually the most common, that or gangs, it just depended on how unforgiving the universe felt like being that day.

He couldn't help but notice some commotion going on over near the vault, “Oh good, more company.” He spoke to himself, wondering who the man near the others was, hopefully someone friendly, he didn't know if they could manage another fight what with them still being a bit injured. Glancing at Eden with her hand resting on her weapon, “You can relax, I don't think she's a danger, unless she's really good at bleeding just to trick people.” He chuckled a little, trying to keep the situation light as they got to know the injured woman.

Reese glanced up at the rusted vault, even having only heard of them, he still thought it was rather impressive that the old world had made stuff like this, it just didn't seem plausible, then again, a lot of tech they had now was re-purposed old world tech, so it shouldn't have surprised him that much, but still, it was pretty amazing, just seeing the inside of it alone would probably awe him.

He was about to say something about the vault when he heard a woman call out to their group, he could see that she was injured, though he could also tell that Eden wasn't the type to be so helpful right off the bat, especially with her sister and them still relaxing a little from the previous events at Davenport.

He doubted that it would come to any kind of fighting, the woman looked fairly injured, though looks could be deceiving, she seemed like she was genuinely hurt, “She doesn't look like she's a threat, in fact it looks like she could use some help, I could go over there and talk to her and see what up, that way you don't have to put your sister in danger.” Reese offered, he was always one to meet new faces though, whether they were nice or rude.

“Hey, you look like you're hurt, I'm a doctor of sorts, I could help you if you like.” Reese spoke to the woman that had grabbed their groups attention, unsure of who she was, however she didn't seem bad, at least to him, but if she did try something, it would be pretty bold so close to the others, that was the wastes though, always a gamble with those you meet.
