Mako had to take care of the two of them, so I don't think he had time to worry about women. In that respect, I'd say Mako is a good man, and Asami knows that. He just made a very big error and he's rightly paying for it. He doesn't expect her to forget it because he knows he wouldn't, but he doesn't want to leave that house single.

Essay comes first. Given how much I'm keeping you waiting everywhere else, I have no right to be bothered about this. And I got GoT xD Yaaay~

We're dead anywhere from a week to months and then it's like,

They'll get something. I'll brainstorm it when he's back in her good graces.
I think in his head, at least as I'm playing him, Mako believes that he can mend his mistakes THIS quickly. It's not realistic to think that, because Asami had not a shred of wrong done to him, and here he is enabling Korra to think that he wanted her over Asami. He's not dumb enough to think he's entirely innocent but he's naive enough to think that he can just 'sorry' and stroke her hand, and that'll make it all go away. But I'd prefer a Mako with unrealistic expectations over a Mako that was clearly into another girl and didn't respond to Asami the same. Sad.

Yeah three to four with a dialogue-centered segment is actually REALLY good when you think about it. A lot of people I've rp'd with do considerably less. And since your next reply is partially kept, the next one shouldn't take any time at all. Not much to say, I know~

It was a long six months dude. A looooong six months.

It actually baffles me how EASY we do this too. Like we don't give a FUCK, we'll drop something in a week and pick two more ideas up. It's addicting.

Oh noooooo xDDDD I don't know about tattoos but they'll have some mutual token to represent their relationship. That's for sure.
I feel lazy too when it appears that I haven't written quite enough, but often times we just need to be in the moment and not dance with the past and present of exposition. Actions can speak a lot louder than the words we place. Mako making an effort to reach out to Asami does a lot more for us as partners, and for him as a character, if he doesn't just sit there in silence while he sees and hears how badly Asami is hurting. I couldn't stomach the idea that he's just sitting here and not trying something, ANYTHING to try and make it right, no matter how little he can do at the time.

So let's not care about length anymore. We've roleplayed enough together to know that we can go IN on some heavy exposition, emotional buildup, and all around rants and ravings pertaining to our opposites. As long as I'm not leaving you anything shorter than three or four paragraphs, I'll be content with that so long as we are continuing to move and enjoying ourselves. We have nothing to prove to anyone on this site, or each other.

Life is tough, writing is sometimes tougher, and I'm glad we can understand that sometimes shit hits the fan for us in a variety of ways. AS LONG AS I AM NOT KEEPING YOU WAITING NEARLY HALF A YEAR AGAIN, WE SHOULD BE COOL!

P.S. Don't burn his eyebrows off. He's an idiot, but he needs his meal ticket in tact xD
Because all our couples are fake as fuck or just struggling their asses off to see the good that's right in front of them. They SUCK man xD And we gotta make 'em NOT suck.

SO SORRY FOR THE DELAY MAN. You've been extremely patient with me and I wanna thank you again for understanding. The delays aren't just life, it's also just me taking my work seriously before it has even begun. But what I want to do from now on is try not to throw the essays at each other, because we have this insane habit of just doing college essays and jumping, and jumping, and jumping. Let's try to enjoy these little moments more, even if they're full of angst and suffering, ya know?
It was insincere and perhaps even a little foolish to say it to himself, but Mako hurt just as badly as Asami did. As he filled in every blank that he could, the tears that quietly flowed from Asami’s eyes was a site so pain-inducing that it begun to make his own eyes sting. It did not feel good to see her like this, just as much as it did not feel good to tell her any of this. Ironically, he would call that a good sign; if he felt pain from her own, knowing that what had occurred was the source, Mako understood that what he felt for Asami wasn’t in jeopardy after all. He felt something for her that Korra did not manage to come between, and he wanted it to stay that way. Maybe even stay that way forever. Firstly, he’d need to be able to see a tomorrow with Asami Sato as his girlfriend.

Right now, it wasn’t looking likely.

His hands now deprived of her warmth, Mako set them on his knees as the dam of Asami’s emotions split in two. He could only wait until there was a pause in her fury before trying—desperately—to explain himself further. Asami was entitled to rant, rave, and rage at him, but he was still trying to do the right thing deep down. Somewhere deep. Way deep. Right?

When she stood and took a step back, Mako stood up. “If I went to Bolin, it would have just made him insecure and depressed! What kind of a brother would I have been if I came to him with nothing but a hunch, and it just so happened to be tied to the fact Korra wanted me more than him? I just thought that if I confronted Korra—“

Mako was cut off and completely silenced by Asami’s next volley. Unlike before, where he felt he might have been able to explain it all away, the comparison of who he was then to who he was now had kept him mute. It was arrogant. He knew even before he approached Korra that maybe, just maybe, he was putting himself on a pedestal he didn’t need to be sat upon. But there was just something that wrenched at his gut when he saw Korra take his little brother up on that offer to go out and spend some time together.

A deep frown formed on his face, eyes downcast to the floor beneath their feet. Asami had continued by suggesting he was drawn to Korra. This wasn’t something he could just jump up and outright deny. Korra was amazing, there wasn’t any doubt about that, but it wasn’t just because she was the Avatar. Asami’s fear of that had roused him from his silence, meeting her face with a hard stare, one filled with determination.

“You’re wrong. A girl doesn’t need to be the Avatar to have my affection—or be able to bend ANY element. Aren’t you proof of that?” He dared to step closer, and dared even further to reach out and let the tips of his fingers brush against hers. “I… I messed up tonight, Asami. I thought that maybe I was doing the right thing, protecting Bolin from getting his feelings hurt… but you also had a point, that I could have just been too absorbed in my own ego to just let Bolin and Korra be themselves. It would have been simpler if I just came here and got lost in your smile, like I always do.”

The pounding of his heart and the trembling of his arms betrayed the bravery he thought he was showing. He needed not to shy away from her, otherwise he would only confirm her worst fears. His hands moved beneath hers in a careful attempt to cup them.
Smart decision. Good luck @Demon Shinobi, and take care man.
Eeeeeh, it's up to Shinobi on that matter. If he agrees to do it after every monster then I'm probably going to let the rest of you hash that part of the roleplay out and he can mention me when it's over. Four of us would just be standing around in the meantime. Maybe he can add some side objectives to the fights.
OOOOOOOOOH SHIT ALEM ABOUT TO FUCK RYOKO UP SON! @Piercing Light

Btw this isn't coming back. I just wanted to write that. Ayyyy lmfao.
Shinobu had seen images of the Palace from Ryoko’s media device, remarking on its magnificence with a somber tone. It pained him to hear that someone from the Empire could have done such a thing. Such careless disregard for another world’s labor and beauty was not only an insult to those who belonged to that world, but also to him. He was prepared for the worst when he could see the light at the end of the Corridor of Darkness. Or so he believed. When he set foot on Agrabah, he heard the sounds of shredded metal and shattered architecture crumble beneath his weight while his attention was focused on the desolation that surrounded him.

Besides Tseng, who he could already see approaching from the corner of his eye, Shinobu had seen nothing more than hopelessness in physical form. Ryoko had guided him to the center of the Palace—and this was it; ashes upon ashes to be carried off in the breeze with remnants of scorched materials scattered about. Nothing appeared salvageable though. That was the only good that could possibly come from such a disgusting result.

He reached into his suit jacket and retrieved a cigar, planting it in his mouth and reaching in his pocket for his lighter, lightning it up in a silence so deafening that no one—not even Tseng—dare open their mouths until he was prepared to speak. A long drag was taken, followed by a slow, smooth exhale, and at last he acknowledged the two beside him once more.

“I didn’t plan on coming out here like this, but I had to see it for myself. Had to see what a madman could be capable of,” Shinobu looked to Tseng, addressing his subordinate with his best attempt at a relaxed expression. Frankly, containing his outrage, his horror, took quite the effort. Even dragging from a high-quality cigar did little to help shield his aura, which had risen to a level that might even cause Ryoko to shiver.

“I won’t say it’s good or bad that you arrived, but I respect your choice no matter what,” Tseng said. He cast his eyes to the surrounding area, joining Shinobu in examining it all. “I only just made it here myself. There wasn’t much I could gather from the locals other than that this was the fault of a ship belonging to the Empire that hung in orbit.”

“So nothing Ryoko didn’t already tell us. What about casualties?”

“Unknown. There were numerous injured, but no one appeared to be looking for someone missing.”

Shinobu met this news with silence. Bad, with a shred of good in that none were missing. With any luck, the only people vaporized in this attack were those that belonged to Nomis. He turned to Ryoko. “It should go without saying but I’ll say it regardless: I don’t blame you for this. Despite your temperament, you are the last person I would pin this on. However, you and I both know that Nomis has caused irreversible damage here, both to the people of Agrabah, and to the reputation of the Empire as a whole. As a result, I would ask you to make certain that he answers for this in a cell for the rest of his days. Or worse...”

“There was something else.”

Shinobu turned to Tseng. “Go on.”

“I haven’t the means to prove anything given that much of the evidence here is scattered to the winds, but there is a possibility that this was more than just damage control,”

“He had another reason for doing this, then?”

“It’s just a theory. A group of people rebelling against the Empire would be easily neutralized under a competent leader’s watch. There shouldn’t be a need to use a bombardment to take out a small group… that is, unless…”

“…Unless they’re that much of a threat,” Shinobu finished, glancing at Ryoko. “If they can outmaneuver Ryoko, also a General, then they aren’t an ordinary group.“

“It’s not just that, it’s… what if Nomis was not only doing this to win, but to protect something?”

Shinobu considered this, offering Tseng a glance before his attention returned to Ryoko. As close as they were once, he knew Ryoko kept secrets guarded closely. There would be things that only a General would have access to in terms of knowledge. He respected that to an extent. But he knew that it could be problematic between them if she were holding anything back. Gambling on their friendship was all he could do for now.

“Ryoko, tell me, you must have some idea of what he was up to here. What is so important to him that he would destroy this place? A group of rebels, are they really so threatening to him? Or...”

Shinobu’s thoughts trailed away as well as his voice. The area had become unnaturally still, as if it was a picture they themselves had placed themselves in. There was not a sound to be heard other than the breaths they drew. Dead silence. This was the sort of quiet that emerged when something dangerous was about to happen.

Or, someone dangerous was near. He knew the feeling all too well.

The sensation of danger was strongest against his neck. With a guarded turn of his head, Shinobu’s eyes narrowed at the sight of a young man with a khopesh in hand, shrouded in a tattered cloak. The sands themselves shifted around him, likely the effect of his own natural energy. A good, hard look at this youth had told Shinobu that he indeed belonged to this world. Except his eyes, pure gold… they reflected much more, as though they had taken in more sights than he could ever know.

Shinobu turned around entirely to face him, slowly as to not instigate a conflict that need not occur. He was only several feet away, yet this stranger’s nature made him feel as though he was right beside him. A chill ran down his spine in anticipation of what could happen next. The eyes of gold had only fell upon Tseng and himself for a fraction of a second before they fell on Ryoko, staying there.

“…A friend of yours?” Shinobu asked Ryoko. Tseng looked to reach for his gun, but Shinobu’s hand had risen, halting him. “Don’t try it. This one... he's dangerous, I can tell.”

The sands that surrounded the three foreigners to the world had begun to shift much like they did around the cloaked figure. Several pillars had begun to rise, stopping at a height similar to the stranger himself. His gaze did not leave Ryoko’s face, but that did not mean he was unaware of the threat the two new faces could represent to both him and his world.

“You should not have come back, Ryoko.”
I don't really see what Kamen Rider had to do with this, you two. I'm not really down for a Zord battle after every monster, but that's up to Shinobi. Not really into the concept, especially since only one person can control the Zord at a time. So I'm gonna pass on having a lot of those. Just prefer they be a big deal if they do come into play.

And as for you, @Demon Shinobi

IT'S COLD OUT HERE! I'll still give this a shot as long as you're able to be active enough to lead. If not, I'd insist on getting RL things taken care of first. It's better for you, and for us, if you're okay IRL before you commit to running this.
