Kyra stepped off the train, looking towards the school. Back again. She realized she was blocking the doorway, and awkwardly stepped to the side, blushing. She moved her messenger bag to the front, and opened it up. She pulled out a small slip of folded, blue paper, and opened that as well.

Thought I’d write you this note to start you off on your second year at the academy. You should be getting your partner this year. You’ll preform the sacramentum to bond your souls, and you’ll be together for a while! My partner was nearly intolerable for a while, but we eventually got over our differences.

Kyra smiled and put the note back, setting off for the school. She was most definitely ready to start a new year. She was curious to see who her partner would be, but that would come in time. For now, getting there was what mattered, and she quickened her pace, not paying much attention to her surroundings, her mind fixed on getting to the academy.
Sorry about not having a Kyra post yet, weekends are my time without internet.

Yume liked the forest. She sat on the branch of a large oak, humming quietly to herself. She held her mask in her hands, twirling it about and paying little attention to the world around her.

@Tominas That's what I was thinking too, kind of. The main thing is that she'd be spaced out most of the time, as opposed to just when she was killing.
To be honest, I think the possession bit would be cool. Maybe a corrupt AI inside of her or something like that? I'll have to think about it a little more. Although I might just switch to a different hero concept I have.

@MiddleEarthRoze I think that's kind of similar to what I'm thinking, but, to be honest, I don't really know how to describe it. Mostly, Vail is the 'default' personality, who simply does what she is asked- her talent is simply killing. Vara is the 'original' personality, who knows what has happened, knows what's going on, but is not in control. It's kind of like Vail is a parasite, using the body taken from Vara as her own. (Don't know if that helps to explain it better, but it's all I really know how to say)
@Solo It's okay! I honestly don't want to misrepresent mental issues, seeing as I know how difficult they can be to live with. I myself have two minor ones- ADHD and chronic anxiety- and those affect my life enough as it is, and I have it really easy. Thanks for sharing information with me, though! I'm always interested in learning more things.
