- Spiritual Awareness: Subaru has enhanced spiritual awareness. He can sense the Energy of creatures around him. The distance from which he can sense someone is dependent on how much energy they have, and can roughly be measured by their rank. A regular human or an animal can be sensed within 100 feet. D rank creatures can be sensed from 200 feet, C rank from 400 feet, B rank from 800 feet, and A rank from 2500 feet (A half mile.) It's less a sight thing and more he can just "feel" them. He can turn it off and on if he wants. He can also distinguish between different kinds of energy. He has not seen Sacred Energy yet.
- Yomi: At 50 feet, Subaru is able to use a specific application of his spiritual awareness: If he can sense someone's energy, he can essentially read their thoughts. He can hear someone's "inner monologue" as easily as if they were speaking. He can use this to, for example, cheat on a test in school or predict an opponent's moves in a fight. He can also read intent and emotions, so he can tell if someone is lying or attempting to deceive him somehow. If someone is unconscious, and he touches them directly, he can actually go through their memories. This even works on dead people, though the corpse must be fresh and he can only read the last ten minutes or so.
