I'd go with some song you don't play often from your playlist and choose a different song for each alarm.
otherwise you get so used to it that you can ignore it.

RE6 was mostly action-based with more narrative elements than horror elements. It's widely considered the second worst RE game, with 5 being the worst. I liked RE6 a lot, though, for the same reason I liked Dead Space 3: They veer away from the horror roots, but they are still great games for those who don't judge them solely on scare quality.

That said, the best Resident Evils were 4 and 2.
