Aeron:
Take all the time you need, no need to rush.

*nods*
Then I'll likely be taking my leave soon to meet my new family. Thank you again sir.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

*Taps my head*
Each of us are, individually, privy to a lot of information that our counterparts aren't used to foes having. I'm planning to leverage that fact myself.

A great advantage indeed.
I have no doubt it'll be of great use to each of us, especially if we need to discuss strategies and counterplans for certain operations.
That's of course assuming some of it will be information that we'll each be willing to discuss about.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

All of that, on top of not having the shellshock of suddenly coming to exist, and more.

Yeah, I guess things are a lot more manageable in comparison. Wouldn't have thought about that.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

I don't foresee our counterparts being a problem in the future. We have our bearings with existing now. Much more prepared.

Much more prepared as in plans, or as in our metaphorical footing?
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

... you make a valid point. Don't get hurt.

Thank you sir. And of course, it wouldn't make sense to risk the disadvantage.
Should I go greet my brothers and sisters, or is meeting and establishing rapport with the rest of the recon team of a higher priority?

<Snipped quote by Stabby>

*Gently shakes your hand a single time*
Likewise with mine. I don't anticipate things being as difficult as the initial encounter.

*after the handshake, I put my hand to my forehead while closing my eyes and sighing*
Bleh, that encounter certainly was a hassle and a half to deal with. Gotta give my counterpart a punch for it next time I see her.

*Curtsies to Fall*
A familiar face, actually. A pleasure to have you.

*Nods and holds out my hand, the amaranthine veins suddenly converging to cover the entirety of it as I smile*

Nice to see you again. I do hope my counterpart didn't give you too much trouble. We've gone our own ways since her creation.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

* you find it almost overwhelming to fight against*

They cannot detect amaranthine. They lack the tools to do so.

*were she conceptually or physically fighting against it, she would find it impossible.*
*however she's simply using the Flame of Spite's properties to isolate, break, and deny connections as a way to slow the encroachment by a heck ton*
*Nods my head, agreeing*

Even so, I don't believe they'll remain that way forever. With all due respect sir.
I'm well aware I'm missing an opportunity in choosing to remain subtle, but I believe that it will be to our eventual benefit.
Especially if they can't discern me from my counterpart.

Problem is that my form of corruption is absolute, pure unalterable that it can't be prevented fully but to a certain degree like Aeron did to the ultimate degree possible. And Regen can't be fully removed from existence regardless.

I wasn't saying she's immune to corruption, was moreso saying that her flame of spite power kinda counters/stalls how amaranthine is trying to convert her. at least on a 'physical' level

tis old, but relevant enough of a description.
roleplayerguild.com/topics/528-myriad… <- two of said powers.
roleplayerguild.com/topics/528-myriad… <- concept of powers foundation.

Honestly I've gotta rethink and rewrite some things related to all of it, cause the powerset currently won't mesh well with how I want it to evolve, for both Flicker and Fall.

Edit: In character explanation that doesn't get into the details too much.

@Dark Cloud

And in the context of Fall (alongside Flicker), one of her powers actually allows her to interrupt the conversion/corruption due to how it works, which she is using to her tactical advantage.
She has two other powers that have their own interactions with amaranthine, one of which meshes quite well, and the other of which just causes annihilation of the interacting particles (amaranthine and figment respectively).

At least, that's how I last remember it.

*smirks*

You are well versed, I see. You will lead my team of recon agents. Infiltrate existence and gather as much info as you can on our mutual enemy.

*offers you a crystal from seemingly nowhere*

Take this, and absorb it. This will make you one with the amaranthine. Join your brothers and sisters, let's fight for a free existence.

Much assured, I'm always happy to gather information on them. Little discoveries can have the biggest impact after all.

*Takes the crystal with one of my amaranthine veins, absorbing it without any visual effect on what already exists, even as it tries desperately to encroach upon my form and convert me fully.*

I do hope you don't mind my choice for subtlety, as it often helps in avoiding conflict or notice from those who'd get in the way.
