Welcome fellow writer. I go by many names, but you can call me Haley or pretty much anything else. I stick to causal level groups here on the forum. I have a soft spot for thunderstorms, dark humor, strong coffee, animals, pretty words, feminine rage, mythologies, and all things that go 'bump' in the night. I've lived in the same small southern Appalachian town my whole life, and aim to travel one day. I posted with Alva... it's short, but I reckon it works.
Alva Jay- Huskers Restaurant.
Mondays sucked, but Alva loved her job. Friendly faces', friendly people, and best of all, her friends and co-workers. The morning had barley gotten started and yet the restaurant was already booming with business. The cooks were already firing up the stoves, Clariel had come in, and last but not least, she was already taking orders for people. It was a busy and tiring job, but with AJ pretty much being ADHD and the little socialite she was, how could she not like it here?
Clariel, how could Alva not like her as a friend? So much swag and so friendly. AJ blushed as the woman planted a kiss on her cheek.
"Well, why would you have anything else, Jackson,",she asked playfully, taking the menu from him and returning his smile in a charming way of hers. Walking back to the counter, she would tell the cook Jackson's usual. Coming back with the coffee pot, she would fill up his cup and then back to the counter again, taking another order of a person who had just walked in and sat at the bar.
