Love my current RP partners and they have inspired me to write more. I'm looking to add one more storyline to my rotation. Please send a PM with a writing sample and what you'd like to RP together. ♥️
Hello, Roleplayers, and welcome to my new and updated 1x1 interest check thread!
Let's get straight to the point.
Type of RP I’m interested in: I’m reaching out to see if anyone would be generally interested in a fantasy style roleplay including some kind of romance. I would play a female and I lean towards a MxF pairing as my preference. Here are some tropes I am interested in (non-exhaustive): ***Enemies to lovers ***Bratty female character & calm and/or teasing male character ***Princess-type/knight ***Sacred maiden/vampire **Princess/jester **Sacred maiden/"bad" guy **Guardian/ward **Forbidden love **Forced proximity *Secret relationship *Captive falls for captor *Friends to lovers
***Out of left field, I have found myself interested in trying something more modern (does not have to be of the fantasy genre). Feel free to toss any ideas my way via PM. ***I would also possibly be interested in another Pokémon story.
Angst/terror/light gore/some dead dove is good with me. In a fantasy style RP, I’m looking for things to be a bit more gritty. I love yearning and sexual tension in an RP, slow burn, and I prefer not to fade to black. Still, I’m looking for something that is at least 70% plot/story. Smut is fine for the other 30!
I write somewhere between high casual and mid-advanced. You can expect thought and effort into my posts, as well as mostly correct grammar. I love writing characters and putting them in situations that evoke emotions, and certainly not always pleasant ones.
These are some plots I'm interested in playing with you:
A princess is too clever and sharp-tongued, therefore widely disliked in the Court. Not because she is foolish, but because she is uncontrollable. She's made enemies of nobles (who prefer her pliable) by publicly humiliating them, remembering everything, and refusing to play the ignorant bargaining chip they want her to be. Her reckless bouts of disobedience tend to be viewed as instability, at best. Dangerous, at worst. A series of "subtle" accidents begin to follow her. Poisoned wine, meant for her table. A purposefully-spooked horse. Or gifts from nobles that are cursed or broken.
The princess is assigned a knight as a personal royal guard - the first in the kingdom, elevated above the rotating sentries. The knight has served the kingdom for many years and is known and trusted for his silence and loyalty. She is convinced he's just another leash. He refuses to indulge her theatrics or charm.
The threats continue to escalate. She's forced out of public spaces under the guise of rest or reflection, and limited to specific wings of the castle. She certainly cannot leave without her guard. Eventually, the knight uncovers that the attempts on her life are sanctioned by members of her own family - to make room for a more agreeable heir.
A princess, whose Kingdom has been weakened by famine, is betrothed to a cruel and politically powerful prince. Her kingdom would starve were it not for the resources this marriage would provide. Her assigned knight is an executioner for the crown of her betrothed. Not some shadowy rogue, but public and feared. He seems to enjoy his work. He's tasked with keeping the princess alive long enough to marry, even while her kingdom begins to rot from the inside under the prince's influence.
Rebellion begins to grow amongst her people when they see their villages burned for disobedience, the economic oppression that the new prince's family brings, and their abuse of power. The knight is ordered to execute anyone deemed a traitor or threat to the crown - including anyone who would oppose the prince's rule. The knight may carry out the orders with precision and duty, but maybe he silently acknowledges that some of these acts are monstrous. Most executions are done by his subordinates by his command, but our knight performs executions personally when the prince's family wants a 'message' sent. Even if it is a message to our princess.
A vampire was entombed alive beneath a cathedral centuries ago. The church was built atop his tomb solely to imprison him. When the seal was complete, the clergy left the place to rot so that no one would disturb it. However, a human seeks shelter and finds the crumbling cathedral on the edge of a dying city during her travels. While she makes simple repairs and cleans up, she is unknowingly weakening the seal that binds the vampire...
I would be willing to consider something besides fantasy, or another plot than the ones listed above, if it similarly aligns with my interests. If you have any ideas you would like to run by me, I’d be happy to check them out.
What I need in a partner: I’m in my later 20s and would like partners 21+. Minors, please do not interact. Please be communicative on RP interests and limits. I prefer to do all chatting/RP’ing onsite. I’m looking for us each to be comfortable writing a few good, detailed paragraphs per post. I’ll be able to reply at least 1-2 times a week, and I’d like a partner to do the same if at all possible. No ghosting please :) If you aren’t feeling like continuing the RP, a quick message is fine!
Please PM me with a writing sample if interested and let me know what intrigues you! Thank you for your time & attention.
