Rumbles would come around the castle as the MS would start picking up movement on sensors. Something was awakening in the countryside and castle grounds. Had to be at least thirty signatures that appeared around the castle.
Yumi stood quiet as they approached not really making a move acting and reacting was two different things and in the most cases the first one to make a move wasn’t always the winner. With that in mind she prepared for the worse prepared to leap or to fight depending on what happened next.
Out of the walls, a bunch of plumas emerged, several dashing at the MS in hopes of one shotting it. Meanwhile, up over the edges of the building came plumas with guns deployed, beginning to lay down suppressive fire against the Suit.
“Damnit this suit isn’t ready just yet to go toe to toe with a hashmal.” Yumi said as she took to the skies the phase shift armor protecting her against the fire from the plumas. The only weapon of sorts she had at the moment that can do some damage was the CIWs. Though she did have to fight a flauros before with her verde buster so she knew how to handle things somewhat. Ejecting the backpack and the shield lightened her load the dragoons and the shield was of no use at the moment. Aiming at a pluma firing at her she flew down creating a large dust cloud from her landing. Before letting loose her CIWs at the plumas kicking away the ones that was closest to her. If you can beat them with what you have old fashioned hand to hand was always an option.
More and more of them began to pile out of the castle’s walls, a horde wave arriving as she tried to fly away. They kept firing with their guns, launching themselves into the air and even making ramps as the little buggers kept their persistence up. Drills whirling, the plumas kept their attack strong despite the kicking and occasional death from the CIWS.
“Annoying little mindless buggers.” Flying back she aimed her beam rifle at the walls of the castle it wasnt going to do crap to the plumas but the walls and the environment it will. Taking aim while flying back she aimed at the nearby wall close enough where the collapse would be able to crush the plumas in the debris. Smirking yumi fired the beam rifle watching s the beam spread apart by the pluma hitting the side and upper wall of the castle causing it to collapse the debris easily crushing a good amount of the plumas as a result. Next was to take out the single bridge leading to the castle.
Yumi got a warning lighting up behind her and it was a massive one. Something that easily outclassed Hashmal in size. Being able to notice it and dodge the massive MA, the thing plowed past her, a blue of grey and purple, impacting and crushing the shield, but leaving the backpack fine, however, Yumi’s ms would be visually impaired from the massive cloud of dust and rubble thrown up, a mono eye lighting up from the massive blobby silhouette.
“That is definately not a hashmal” Yumi mutters to herself as she called her backpack to her it seems she would need all of her dragoons for this one. Going by the size and the mono eye it was zeon make. Which meant I fields and possible funnels. It also meant her shield/beam saber was a no go being vaporized in the blast. “Still in the words of Rau Le Creuset I'll give it a try. Anything that man can do, I'm sure I can do just as well.” With that said Yumi let out a smirk sending out the dragoons. “You’re something that shouldn’t have been allowed to exist now say goodbye!” Yumi exclaimed firing her Judicium beam rifle into the dust cloud as the backpack settled itself once more on the back of the providence.
The beams arced into the unit, but were all bent around it in the form of a bubble as they scattered into the countryside the castle was situated in. A few steps forwards and Yumi finally saw her opponent. Great Zeong.
The machine’s mouth split open and unleashed a mega particle beam out of it, dropping the i shields temporarily as the MA unleashed its attack. Meanwhile, the arms split off and chased the dragoons to keep them busy while the main unit was less defended. It still had the massive binders to protect the core unit, so it’d be safe for now
“A great zeong” Yumi muttered a near insane grin spread across her face her body leaned forward one hand controlling the dragoons she set off as she charged forward having dodged the the large beam it shot. Firing multiple shot with the judicium beam rifle and releasing the four small dragoons she kept firing as she moved using the others to keep the arms busy. T still had the binders so they had to go with the small dragoons she angled them taking shots at the binders while she kept the beam rifle steady firing at the main body before she aimed two of the large dragoons one at each arm and fired.
The machine could read this setup attack thanks to Sakuya’s new a.i. Improvements and the entire machine split apart. Upper torso from the the head and lower body. The arms still connected to the torso via the cables as she soon had five opponents now. The head began to buzze the girl as she had missed her shots, small cannons in it strafing her as it readied another mega blast. The torso began to charge an attack as well, ifields up, but the solid linkings of the arms allowing them to continue to dance with this as they dodged and fought the dragoons, using multiple predictive algorithms to fire where they were expected to be.
Seeing as it was smarter than expected she pedaled back and recalled the dragoons save for the two large ones. Taking direct control of the two as she started to fire at the arms it was smart predicting the obvious paths on which it might take though with her taking direct control she could start doing more crazy patterns and unexpected things that it was having time to predict and react. “Lets dance shall we?” Yumi said her insane grin still on her face as she started to dance around letting out small shot at the small dragoons acting as beam cables as she aimed it at the cables connecting the arms to the torso.
One of the cables to the left arms was injured, meaning it retracted back to the torso, the other did as well for safety. The several mini units fought off against the dragoons and the MS itself. Dancing back and forth, the two units clashed, the Great Zeong combining and splitting itself apart on the fly. Over the course of the battle, it pushed harder and harder, eventually starting to consistently wear down the providence. Just as it was about to deliver a critical blow, it stopped. “Match Over.” the robotic voice said.
Yumi smiled as she stepped off the arena grabbing the providence along with her she knew now what needed to be done. She watched as a assistant walked forward handing her a slip saying that once the exams was over for everyone to turn in the slip and they would announce the winner. Slipping it inside her pocket Yumi walked off back into the room with everyone else.
“So what you think of my child” Sakuya said as she looked at the battle that happened that was its lowest setting the basics of the basics. “The battle was on its lowest setting as you saw it saw and countered the strategy with more work and data I imagine it could provide equal strength to former champions” She continued pride in her voice she wasn’t great at these things like Niels or Dani but this this was child her magnum opus it was the greatest of her achievements.
