Yumi let a small shiver as the disco obsessed person left and a groan at how he was in charge of the shop. Still looking up at her gusion she assumed that one was one of the free ones so she might as well pick the last two free ones. If she failed the exam oh well she got three free gunpla and experience if not than she was prepared for may be thrown her way. “Im afraid brain bleach might not work.” Yumi stated her voice filled with mirth at the one girl’s horror of Mr. Gunpla. “Despite how he acts he is one of the major faces of gunpla and of gunpla fighting sadly.” She stated welp time to face the music “let’s she what Mr. Gunpla carries” Yumi stated as she stood up and left towards the store area her completed gusion in a pose with one arm slinging the hammer over its shoulder while one hand splayed out with the open hand option in a somewhat dynamic pose. Reaching the store she swallowed it was ordinary looking though she could spot garish leopard print rugs on the floor. “So you said that we can get two more free gunpla right?” She asked the afroed person.
“Yes crazy layday!” The sunglasses themed man responded from behind the counter. He seemed to have some sort of a song stuck in his head as his body softly bounced to the beat.
“Ah I see thank you than would you happen to have the kits for the Blitz gundam and the Destiny gundam?” She asked looking at the person who for eight years was a champion gunpla fighter.
“Ofcourse! Anything for the Girls!” He said, disappearing into the back. He came back out with the two kits. “Good luck with the beams! Dazzle the Blind!” he cried out, throwing a fist up into the air, the broken engrish pushing him over the top as some people laughed. However, the male got on his elbows and began speaking fluent japanese in a rather relaxed and cool tone. “Tell me little blossom, how will you dazzle them with beams if they deflect them?” he asked, tilting the sunglasses down so she could see his eyes and how serious they had become, 180’ing the craziness from before.
“Seed has a lot of beam spamming as people call and hatred in general for the series. There is more to gunpla fights than beams I fought using a verde buster against IBO kits before my weapons all but countered. It does not however speak about the pilot. The blitz has the lance darts and the gliepner for example all non beam weaponry that if used correctly can win the battle against IBO kits in general. Destiny has a lot of beam weaponry however the Arondight sword is more than just a large beam sword it does in fact carry a edge so as long as you don’t activate the beam it can be used just as well.” Yumi said speaking honestly she may not like seed as a whole but Beams is not everything on the gundams.
“Gunpla academy ran a team years ago in the regionals and they had a fighter by the name of Saga Adou. Look into his suits and learn from them. When the orphans come out to play, show them your fangs, fight them where you’re not.” He said and flicked his glasses up. “Rememba, Fight Supah cool for Supah Fun!” Mr Gunpla shouted and struck another disco pose, this time more in line with the beegees than anything else.
“Wait can I exchange the destiny for the providence gundam instead.” Yumi spoke up the small serious moment from Mr. Gunpla sparking an idea in her head that she would have never thought of without some pushing.
The man smiled and walked over, grabbing the kit off of his shelf before bringing it to her with a wink. “Stay crazay.” he said and took back the Destiny.
With a small thanks to the former champ Yumi left gripping the providence gundam in her hand her mind going over the ways she could use it while the blitz was under her arms. Before reaching the room with everyone else was at. "So im back and with some new ideas but thats for later first though who is ready for the exam?" Yumi asked debating on if she should start on the providence gundam or not.
Sakuya smiled at the sight of Mr.Gunpla despite all his craziness and cringey badly spoken english he did know what he was doing just he had a persona he kept up all the time similar to the Meijin in that sense. “Say what you will about him he does know his stuff.” Sakuya said in defense of the somewhat crazy ex gunpla champ. “Learn to see what hides behind the masks.” Sakuya stated her hat pulled over her eyes but a large grin was on her face.
