Both probably. I mean, 500 years is a long time, it would only make sense for there to be a guild of farmboys people feelings that they can end the land's troubles by monster hunting.

Probably add a bounty board too.

Again I think he may have been talking about Monster Hunting. Otherwise you can expect your normal guilds; thieves, assassins, merchants, a school of wizadry (you're a wizard harry!) and probably the Iron Brigade (fights guild)

Probably a cupcake guild too.

There can be yes. If you would like one implemented, I will make one. If you would like to "run the business" then you may do so. For the most part I won't be controlling it a whole lot, if I do wind up being the master of it. But It can exist nevertheless.

He did make it fairly clear that the waters are nigh on impossible to cross without getting swallowed whole. This is your first post here, so try to talk it over with Aeon first. Not sure if he'd even allow a shipwrecked dude/pirate (Also, what are pirates good for? No merchant ships to plunder).

I really don't see this happening. I don't see you being able to justify this to the point of acceptance, considering the world I have laid out before you. Yet, I am willing to listen if you can convince me. Also, starting with the line "anyone want to be his rescuer" makes it sound as if you are dependent on other people, and as I've seen so far there is only one other person wanting to "piggyback".

Yes they are. Not my favorite but I do not let me prejudices hold you back from what you want to do. Do you want an entire new race of creatures (which you can have), or just a unique character? Well unique-ish, I have another half-anthropomorphic already, justified.

Well, I had two state they would prefer CS's be kept hidden. But I will probably release them. I will however, only offer the most basic of details (incase you need to re-reference material.) Such as appearance, age, name, job, etc. Mostly keeping the powers, weaknesses, special gear, skills, and backround hidden. Not settled on this, but that's where I'm leaning.

Listen here sir. If you're going to keep up this woeful negative attitude, you are more than welcome to leave. This is my roleplay, and honestly, I don't care what you've experienced. Coming in here with a negative attitude is not appreciated, so keep your remarks to yourself. You came to me, therefore you either want to roleplay in this style, story, and setting, or you don't. Don't sit here and nay-say my roleplay because of whatever your past experiences are. This is not a "dragon slaying adventure about a rag tag band of friends forced to work together", this is a collection of stories, about people who influence the world, help shape it. Those paths will intertwine, and the amount of time characters spend together is entirely up to their creators. If you want a scallywagging adventure with a misfit group of heroes, this is entirely the wrong place for you.

If you want to stay, drop the negativity and instead, drop me a CS.

I will be writing a detailed post on the nobility. (but first I promised magic so I'll go work on that). Otherwise There are six noble houses. Since it not set in stone yet if you wish to have your own house, please pm the details and I will add it into the list.

For some, yes. This will not always be the case as this is a large area, and by no means are anybody restricted to "staying grouped". If you're looking for a "Rag-tag" band of adventures style rp, then this is probably not the place for you. This is overall about the stories we write, there will be interactions, but it's about the world and how these few people help is evolve and change, how they get through it, the friendships they make, etc.

If you can't handle solo writing then this is not the place for you I'm afraid.

I think it can be really fun not knowing about other characters, as long as everyone properly introduces their characters in their first posts ^^. Seeing other char sheets has its benefits, mainly avoiding making two of the same type of character, but it's worth it in my opinion as it's more fun to find out what a character is capable of throughout the RP. Knowing what other people are playing ´before my character meets them kind of takes away from the experience, in my opinion ^^.
