Hey. School is boring, so just checking in. Kinda hoping someone posts something on the IC so I can read it.

The thing with his mother wasn't actually a scientific advancement, @Aspen Wren, but instead a magical development. She was taken into custody, along with other different species of lycanthropes, and they had their bodies and genes magically altered. Since it was a fantasy world and Modern day tag I did assume that some of the technology would be up to speck, but nevertheless a magical transformation from werewolf to weretiger is a bit better I find. (And the false Lycan is cool)

The false Lycan, a shapeshifter mixed with a Lycan DNA through birth or genetic miscalculation. A rare, surprisingly rare, species of part werewolf and part shapeshifter. A race of beasts somewhat recognisable, but surprising discrete.
Physical Description:
In Depth Physical Description: About 5'9, with stark white hair and bright blue eyes. He normally wears a black jacket, with normal jeans and white trainers. He has pale-ish skin, and a dull, pretty complex shape across his right forearm - His mating mark.
Personality: keeps his cool in stressful situations, and handle them calmly without worry. He likes to stay away from people, even though he is one of the most popular people in the school. If something cant be resolved through peace, his first response is generally violence, even if there is another solution that doesn't require killing the other. He prefers to be called Joe
Hobbies: Watching anime, Airsoft matches, Writing a variety of short stories, mostly dark fanstasy and dabbling in alchemy when he can.
Familiar: No familiar as of present
Extra: Being a Lycanthrope with a completely different transformation to others has been hard on him. Everyday he is called a false werewolf, fake wolf, reject, defect, you name it. Because of that, he has led a darker road. His mother was an experiment, and he was nothing more than a defective lycan. His mind has a taken a dark side, and everyday he considers suicide, despite being one of the more popular people in the school. Now that he is a 5th year, he has thought of he leaving the school and the city in search of greener pastures. There is a magical college about 11 hours flight SW called "the Magical Institute of Alchemic Research" which peaked his interest, since he has been attempting alchemy since he was a second year.

Name: Therris "Flux Shield" Reyon

Powers: "Earth Flux" or "Earth Power". The ability to manipulate the ground and objects around oneself in order to receive complete control. The primary use of this power is to create shields of essentially liquid rock, with the same properties (just being a different state of matter", though it has other uses. Such as imprisonment, earthquakes, demolition, transport, construction, and offence. He generally uses weapons for fighting, but if the need arises, his ability is always there.
Appearance: A normal-ish boy of around 19 wearing normal clothes. White trainers, jeans, a black top and a red leather jacket. He also has a ring with a strange insignia on his right hand, and a necklace with the same symbol. The only strange part to him is his stark white hair, which is always spiked in a subtle, yet noticeable way.
Bio: Therris Reyon learned of his ability at about 13. He was bullied a lot, and eventually his emotions got the better of him. One afternoon, the usual people that did bully him came to him. They beat him in the street, and stole the most precious thing to him - his necklace; the symbol of his power, given to him by his mother and father before they left for the war. Therris snapped, stood up, grabbed on of them by the shirt, and the ground itself shook. Windows around them shattered and the boy he grabbed was sucked into the ground by and unknown force. Therris stamped the ground, a wall (from one of the building) slid across the ground and formed again, with the second boy inside it. The third took the worst punishment. The buildings around crumbled, and formed a liquid mass below the boy, which slowly climbed up his legs, sealing him in place. Therris took the asphalt from beneath him and formed a blade of earth, and cleaved the boy in twine. The authorities caught up with him, but a certain college bailed him out of prison, promising him control over his magical ability.
