Imagine using the status bar to post about your personal life, instead of using it to drop bad memes on people. Couldn't be me.

Somebody, please, kill me before I have to see the RPG Status Bar turn into an argument over Feminism. I don't think the Guild can handle anymore issues at present, let alone Feminism.

Playing Alien Isolation for the first time. NOW I REMEMBER WHY I HATE HORROR GAMES!
Mura had all but zoned out from the conversation, only to return from thought to the mention of costumes. Looking around once more, she noticed a new girl had come to join the motley crew that was the occult club, and looking with a notion of pain. Apparently Charlie had done something to the poor girl and was now being punished for said act. Or at least that was what Mura could gather as the arrogant cock walked back in, seemingly tired, and threw an ice pack straight at the girl. Talk about being a handful. But that wasn't Muras' concern, since Seiko seemed to be up with the president about wearing costumes. The girl did seem like the type to want to go shopping like that, and clothes shopping was always a relatively fun past time, even if the person you are going with has behind the scene motives that are... a little more devious. "You Seiko, Yurika, if Mitsuko doesn't want to come along I could always come..." she said to the two girls, slightly trailing off towards the end as she began to realise what a terrible mistake she had made. Apparently, in the mind of school Mura, money didn't matter and neither did her... "clients", as they were. It looked as if her grave was already dug down far enough, with little to no way of climbing out. No one could find out about a, her job, b, her brother and c, the fact that she had very little to work with.
Looking up from the floor that she had been staring at for a couple of minutes, Mura focused upon the front of the room, but more importantly the brownies. Free snacks were one thing, but brownies, of home made quality to boot, were on a different level, in her opinion. She stared intently at the box they were contained in, and then slightly blushed as she realised that she was probably being looked at weirdly by everyone around her. Looking down again, she decided it was probably best to wait until another person went and took one first before she made her move. In the mean time, she began thinking about what kind of costume she would where. Something a little more... revealing? That would probably be Seikos' taste, but not really something she would choose. Definitely not something childish, but something a little less adult. Choices, choices...

Personality
Mura is completely and utterly oblivious to the mood of the area she is in, as well as the people around her. When things are sad, or not looking so good, she tends to make light of situations and act like nothing is happening. As well as this, she isn't very good with people. She often says offensive things without realising, nor caring. She is also obsessed with the idea of the full potential of the human mind. She has also become enveloped in the idea that she must transcend the 7 sins of man to overcome thought itself. She believe that if she can she might be able to bring people back from the dead, though no one really pays that part of her any attention. Her therapists deal with that. It has also been noticed she only goes to school if she feels she has time. This squats to about twice a week, sometimes three.
Background
Mura lived with her family, including her mother, father, two brothers and grandparents. She lived an ordinary life and went to school like a normal person. She and her family were out on a special occasion to celebrate her older brothers 17 birthday, where he requested for them to go and see a play titled “The 8th Hermit”; a play based on a man descended from a long line of Hermits who all became well renowned theorists. During his expedition into his own mind, his family was killed in an accident when a man drove straight into his parents care. It was thought it was an act of murder, but nothing could be proven. The man lost his focus, and instead of continuing to become a Hermit he devoted his life to finding and killing the man who killed his parents. After finding him, the man proceeded to kill him and his whole family. Mura saw no more, as a group of men stood in different locations in the theatre stood and proceeded to shoot every person they saw before leaving and escaping. Mura was the sole survivor from her whole family.
Taken in as an orphan, she has had psychological problems and has had many different therapists. She has become slightly obsessed with the idea of the capability of the human mind, but also that she must overcome her mind in order to do something great. She decided that she would rise above the seven sins of man in order to transcend thought itself, but no one so far has given her any notice.
Powers
Card: IX - The Hermit Her ability has taken on the complete manifestation of one of her sole ideals; to transcend the 7 sins of man. Because of this she has decided that she must use these powers so she can one day use them to understand the sin itself, so that she may one day overcome them. Each sin is personified in it's own way.
Envy: Envy takes the form of a knife with a strange, winding blade. It can change its form to look like any other bladed weapon, and it moves almost like a snake. This shows her want for things others have. It can include their powers, their wealth, their family connection or others. Gluttony: Gluttony takes the form of a pistol that looks like whatever Mura is craving to eat. Be it a piece of cake or fast food, the weapons seems to be able to look like it. This shows her need to have, as well as her odd eating habits. Greed: Greed takes the form of that fires lookalikes of gemstones, coins, arcade tokens, balls of notes, poker chips and other. It tends to shape itself after the last thing Mura was greedy about. It shows her want for power and the want for her family to return to her. Lust: Lust has, oddly, taken the form of sword that can bend move almost like a whip. It is thought this is her inner need to control, to the point where she lusts for it. It may be linked to her brain in some way, since it is thought this weapon gives her pleasure when someone is struck. Pride: Pride takes the form of two large, black, curved blades connected to Mura's arms. These blades can be extended or retracted to different lengths. It usually symbolises Mura showing her power off. Sloth: Sloth becomes a strange looking gun which fires small mines out. These mines explode through proximity. This shows her laziness but also her capability to do things from afar. Wrath: Wrath becomes two blades with pistols as their hilts. It represents her inner anger, as well as the hate she shows to others. It may also show her capability for unconventional killing. The Sins Protection: This allows her to change any of her abilities into a shield. This renders that ability useless, and is only reversed when she next goes to sleep. It represents how lonely she felt after her family was killed.
Disadvantages: Mura can only have one of these abilities active at one time, and it takes her about 15 seconds to change between them. During this time she is rendered useless, so she must take cover whilst switching. As well if she changes an ability into her Sin Shield, she cannot use that ability again until she next falls asleep.
Skills
Mura is a natural inventor and strategist, capable of pulling unthinkable things together from ordinary items. She can observe situations and quickly come up with basic solutions to them, or even a full blown plan of action if given time. She seems to know her way around a basic firearm, but it is unknown why she does. It has been noted by her psychiatrists that it may have something to do with her families murder, even though she has trouble dealing with them. She has also shown she can handle herself in armed combat.
Weapons
She primarily uses a weapon called the "Phantom Flayer" is a set of two blades that can be joined, but when separated can be used as a single bladed knife and pistol. It is only useable when she is using her ability of "Wrath"
Equipment
She typically has a bag of school stuff, as well as a small scalpel for unknown reasons.
Who said we were fighting? Mura is just making the guy up back know his place. But seriously if Charlie wants broken bones, Mura will be happy to oblige ^_^
Name: Rebecca “Hydro" Click ( The name Rebecca Click isn’t actually her name, as she had to have one fabricated for her after the experiments done on her)
Nickname/Alias: Hydro, a reference to her power.
Position: None
Faction: She belongs to a group known as SOUL, an underground organisation of powerful member and considerable notoriety. It is said this group may have contact with Kakine Teitoku, also known as Dark Matter.
Seat Number: 12
Nationality: Japanese
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Blood Type: B- (I don’t actually understand how blood types work, so I just picked a random one from Wikipedia)
Biography: Rebecca grew up in Academy city, and learnt her esper powers pretty early on. Her original power was for hydrogen manipulation, and it involved circulating or condensing/heating oxygen for a variety of effects. During WWIII however, an experiment was conducted taking people of her abilities and air manipulation abilities in order to manipulate them to become more powerful. It was intended to be a follow up the Dark May project, and was entitled Project: Bleeding Star. During this, girls like Rebecca were forced to fight one another using what they had on hand and what they could get from the arenas. Approximately 79 girls were inducted into the experiment and only 18 managed to escape. The project was shut down after some of the girls developed powerful abilities equivalent to that of a Level 4 or even Level 5. Aero Shooter, Aero Hand and other air manipulation abilities were developed, and the girls revolted; using these abilities to tear the facility down from the inside out.
Forward a few years, and Rebecca as a 14 year old. As a Level 4, she was recruited by an underground organisation known as SOUL, run by a powerful pyrokinetisist named Melting Point. A supposed Level 5 that went through experiments in a project named “Thermostat” where he developed a Dual Skill. In the group, she met others who had been through the same as her; Level 5’s that weren’t listed as Academy city residents, but were experimented on all the same. She also met and became acquaintances with Kakine Teitoku.
Now, 2 years later, she is enrolling in Hybrid Academy to better control her powers, as well as possibly learn magic. At the age of 15, she enrolled in Kirigaoka Girls’ Academy, but was expelled due to loss of power control on multiple occasions and harm to other girls.
Personality: Pessimist, Donkan, Cynic
Before the Bleeding Star experiment Rebecca was a kind and loving young girl. Though after being pitted against so many others she began to feel more and more pessimistic. She thought that no one would escape the experiment, and that became more of a reality as so many of the others died. This also made her crueler and more violent to others, becoming more cynical and less likely to help others. Also, being confined from the public for so long, she became less and less connected to emotions, and often misread situations; failing to see the obvious interactions of love or other emotions between people.
Likes: Chillier, drier weather Pizza, burgers and other types of junk/fast foods High quality weaponry Intense action/sci-fi movies
Dislikes: Love, and related emotions People that complain about minor family issues People who complain about their lack of power People that complain about others having too much power (Let’s put it like this, she doesn’t like whiny low Level espers)
Skills: Her training has involved vigorous exercise as well as melee and ranged combat. She can wield pistols, machine guns and sniper rifles. She can also use knives, swords and other weapons of similar types.
Ability: Hydro Glaive: Level 4;
Hydrogen manipulation: Full manipulation and control of hydrogen. Used for creating dense and powerful hydrogen blades, or a full body shield of dense hydrogen. Also gives a type of superhuman strength by condensing hydrogen into a hard sphere around the attackers object in question for powerful attacks or abilities.
Hydro burner: By compressing the hydrogen into a form, and then vibrating the particles she can force it to combust, creating violent and unpredictable explosions.
Disadvantages: Hydrogen takes up a very small amount of the Earth’s air, so it can take a while to use any of the skills. She keeps a container of liquid hydrogen around for emergencies, but it normally isn’t needed as her shield is always active. The shield is capable of stopping bullets, but because she has a small frame she can be knocked down by attacks with high force. The shield can be theoretically penetrated with multiple high powered attacks, or by using an attack of equal or lower density to hydrogen. Attacks from an Aero shooter ability could penetrate.
The bleeding star project was an attempt to create more powerful and diverse esper abilities for exploitation. It was the child project to the Dark May experiments, where espers were taken and had the patterns of Accelerator’s Personal Reality imprinted into their minds. This was in an attempt to create more abilities like Accelerator’s. The same basic principle went to the Bleeding Star project. People with esper abilities (most notably air and atmospheric control abilities) were taken and pitted in arenas, where they were forced to use their abilities and whatever they could find. The hope was that the fighting would trigger powerful emotional response, and awaken the deeper power within air control espers to someday use them in more diverse ways. Certain abilities that already existed emerged, like Offence Armour and Bomber Lance; but others like Hydro Glaive were recorded.
In some experiments, the espers were pitted against Level 5’s in order to record a feeling of pain, sadness or hopelessness. It was thought that strong negative emotions were the key to creating esper abilities without using Personal Realities, which was somewhat proven to be true. In other aspects of the experiment, subject’s would be forced to view horrific and graphic videos created by a telepathic esper. These videos were forced directly into the subject's mind in order to create the same feelings of loss and sadness, only without the need to lose the subject’s. Along with this, subjects would be forced to watch as their friends were pitted against espers much more powerful than them only to watch them die.
One night, during an experiment, Rebecca showed possible signs of new abilities, by defeating and nearly killing one of the people they brought in to fight them; a powerful hydromancer, but not close to a Level 5. She used her ability to remove the hydrogen from the water and render it useless. This inspired hope in the other espers, and battles where the subjects won became more and more prominent. After this, the researchers began to doubt the experiments, as more abilities cropped up due to the hope that they might one day escape. After a month of this, the Board of Directors issued the command to kill all the test subjects. The subjects revolted, and killed most of the researchers, but so many of them were killed in the process. Before the tried to escape there were 54 of the espers left, but after only 18 escaped, some of which were captured later on and used for other experiments.
