Appearance:

Matsuta stands at around 5'11, with goldish-brown hair and reddish-brown eyes. His face, and the general look of his body might remind someone of a person at least 2 years younger than himself, but underneath any clothing he has a surprising amount of muscle. Most of the time, you'll see Matsuta wearing his school uniform. His normal attire is a lot more simplistic, somehow. It is usually created out of a random pair of jeans/tracksuit, a random t-shirt and some non-descript jacket of either black or red.

Personality:
I'll try and keep this as short as I can, but it may be a little difficult...

Matsuta is an oddity, to say the least. Anyone who knows him can clearly see a bit of a split down his life. In front of any friends, he is blunt, cynical, slightly hyperactive, rude and offensive; often saying anything that comes to mind, or making extremely inappropriate jokes or comments in a situation. Anything he finds funny, he tends to just say without thought or care for anyone around him.

In front of teachers, or his officials (like psychiatrists), he is a model student - a perfect child. Pretty much getting straight A's despite his lack of studying, and always being on hand to help out with things. He cooks everyday, due to his families... Situation, and living on his own has given him valuable experience in independence. 

Matsuta's family left a scar on him, thats for sure. For years he lived with depression, almost killing himself several times in the process, but forcing him to come to a harsh reality. He would become the same, if he let it get to him too much. So, he focused all his time of studying and becoming more and more intelligent. It was too late for some things, but he found his calling.

The other thing about Matsuta is that he is an Otaku. Very much so. He spends a large portion of his money on manga, or anime related goods. You could call it an obsession, but it's become his thing. Apparently it was all that came from what happened.

Notable Skills:
To keep himself in shape, and to prepare for the future, Matsuta has been learning to fight. At first, it was simply learning some hand-to-hand; but somewhere down the line it evolved into practising with knives and swords.
He says he can handle himself in a fight rather well. But, he hasn't had much experience except a couple guys who thought they'd pick a fight with the highest scoring student in the class.
Can speak, read and write English and Japanese.
Has a knack for working out bargains, and can have somewhat of a silver tongue when he really wants to.
A very good actor - adept at hiding facial and bodily expressions, masking his tone, lying and deceiving people.
Though you wouldn't expect it, Matsuta can actually hack websites pretty damn well. Not that his computer is doing him any favours...

History:
Matsuta Okada was born into a shit family, with shit parents and a shit sister. Not to mention in a shit environment. Both parents were complete alcoholics, and his father was never around - known as a serial cheat and womaniser. His mother took to this by drinking more, taking drugs, and beating the shit out of her son whenever things were rough. Oh, and his sister grew up to become a prostitute somewhere, using the money to fuel her alcohol and drug addiction that she gained from an early age.

For years this went on, nobody questioning anything - somehow. But eventually, Matsuta fell into depression. Really deep depression, almost killing himself a few times; with the last being on school grounds. Eventually, a full in depth check was held. His mother was sent to prison for a long ass time, and both he and his sister were rehomed. 

Stuff happened, and now he is living on his own; living under constant watch from psychiatrists, and other officials; attending therapist sessions every week whilst trying to make everyone see that he's fine. Somehow, he managed to come out of everything with hardly any adverse effects. So now, he spends his time collecting anime and manga goods with the money he earns from his part time job, and studying to further improve his existing skills

Rewind back to his third attempt at suicide. After failing to work up the courage and actually do it, something happened. That was the final piece in the chain of events that led him to meeting Gospel. The God was... Well, its hard to describe. But, needless to say, Matsuta thought of it like his brains own coping mechanism. It fabricated a God, and gave it a full personality for him to interact with. It stuck around too, sort of like another friend. At least, he did think that. Until he received the text, and everything fell to shit.

Misc:
A quick note of some stuff:

He has Aspergers, Insomnia and ADHD. Had depression for 6 years, almost killing himself over a dozen times. He openly makes comments and jokes in the most inappropriate times about the most offensive topics. He is afraid of heights, as well as people to a degree; which is why he only has a close group of friends - no one outside of it. And he is an Otaku.

Thats a problem in of itself!
