Bio

I have been writing as a hobby for longer than you have been alive. I have been a regular member and roleplayer of no less than fourteen different online forums during that time (including the old RPG), five six eight of which no longer exist.

I was previously a regular on the Homestuck forums, but I became so sick of thread turnover there that I asked around and eventually found the Guild. Since joining, I have exclusively only participated in Advanced RPs. Before Mahz gave NRPs their own subforum, I used to be an NRP regular in the Advanced Subforum. I am a Guildfall survivor, and know/regularly write with a few others.

If you ask anybody who has written with me in previous RPs, they should tell you that I have a generally open schedule, I post regularly and in a timely fashion, and I never drop an RP once I join unless the thread dies. Some of them may tell you that I have extensive expertise within the realms of Biology, Psychology, and Physics, which I will make no effort to validate since there is no way I can provide hard proof of aforementioned alleged expertise to anybody over the internet (though I am happy to try and answer any questions you send my way).

My favorite fandom is the Myst franchise, which seemingly nobody other than me has ever heard of.

I was a Contest Moderator for the Writing Contests Subforum for just a little bit over two years. I wrote the Moderation Policy for that subforum and I ran a contest called the Twelve Labours; you can still go there and see all of them and the entries people wrote for them in the Contests Section and the Victory Archives.

I have been quadruple secret banned from the guild discord. That is not a joke.

Another random idea that just came to mind... Jason Bright and his followers... The chances of them actually reaching orbit with the trajectory those rockets had are slim to none...I just finished the quest and it appears they launched towards the North-east... Maybe a covilization of ghouls that view it as a blessing and actively kidnap normal humans and turn them into ghouls?

While absolutely everybody in the game can agree that Jason Bright's ghouls were pretty crazy, they weren't that stupid and/or malevolent. As long as Jason was around, they would never do something like that - and please remember, barring grisly intervention ghouls can live for a very, very long time.

If the cult had harbored any intentions or beliefs within the aforementioned purview, they would have turned Chris into a ghoul. They went out of their way to keep him human.

Also, there is no surefire way to turn humans into ghouls - it is a normally extremely rare occurrence made common by the Nuclear Apocalypse. 999/1000 humans will still die if you blast them with sufficient radiation to turn them into a ghoul. There also is no magical ghoul gene sequence that, when damaged by ionizing radiation, turns people into ghouls - the process is happenstance and unique to each individual.

So if they decided to 'turn humans into ghouls,' they would run out of space to store the dead bodies before they had even one successful conversion. :P

Fuck it, here's what I've got so far. I'm working on another batch for Atomic to check but these are Certified JunkTech Series One:

While it's nice to see a few planned schematics out and about, you should probably save pre-arraned custom items for locales we'll be visiting. Rather than restricting custom items to what you can come up with, just wait for people to ask you for something and literally build what they ask for. There's more variation that way, and people can decide exactly what they want rather than having to settle merely for what we create.
Poe would likely be upgrading his own weapons and those of the other explosives/energy weapons users - all two of them. :P

Interesting fact: The individual batteries in a standard power cell is approximately the size of some bullet calibers. It wouldn't be too hard to repurpose spent ammunition casing, packing energy cell batteries into them along with a hardened casing, which would rupture and release their energy content upon impact. This could provide everybody using boring ballistic weapons with a bit of a small energy-explosive kick with each shot (although a number of bullet calibers are too small to repurpose in this fashion, including 5mm, 5.56mm, 9mm, any kind of shot other than a slug, etcetera).

I'll get to work setting up a Workshop profile for weapon upgrades and custom item creation via Poe's workstation.

I guess I'll be patrolling or building stuff in car three at night, since robots don't sleep. Not sure what the robots in fallout are powered by. Fission batteries perhaps? Will car four have enough room to haul salvage? I assume so, but as I want to build a high-precision claw (basically handtools built in) and other things, it would be good.

Mr. Helper models have a special fusion generator courtesy of General Atomics International.
I have a lot of plans for the Blue Line once we get to it, so for the Green Line I'd like to see the really big plans everyone else has - and I'll add some flavor and accessory features where possible.
Sovi3t: Just to clarify, canonically, a courier who supports House destroys all Brotherhood forces in New Vegas, and this is fifteen years after the battle of Hoover Dam.

An abrupt resurgence of Brotherhood activity in the region is ok, I guess, but considering that the moment the questions are over we'll be heading to New Reno, leaving New Vegas behind us, there's not much point in leaving Brotherhood in New Vegas.
Even shorter post, to wind the spring.
Javier said “ The NCR and BoS are gunna’ learn of this sooner or later, maybe even the Legion will take interest, with all these factions in play and they’ll probably be sending men and women to attack us and all, but also tryna’ make it hell , what do we do if they sabotage, blockade or anything like that. Not only that but there be more complications, like angry locals and all that stuff that will complicate work. I don’t mind popping a few beams of Plasma at raiders and Fiends and even the legion but against the BoS and NCR, even angry locals and civilians? No thanks”

"In the interests of not wasting the great Grace's time," Poe said, craning his neck to stare eerily at Javier through his goggles, "The NCR already knows and the House already told us the response to interception efforts. And if you aren't willing to do what you've been invited here for, get out." Poe thumbed at the elevator. "Bulletcatchers like you who don't know how to listen can be replaced."

Alternatively, bring junk to Scrap or he will eat you.Edit: Actually, Scrap might be willing to play along as long as Goggly Man showed him how to construct these new items as well, then it's an investment in later junk bartering; would that work for you Terminal? My only other option without breaking character would be to Nightkin around and steal all the materials, then no one's happy.

That would require some convincing on Poe's part, and the whole 'RAGH I'M A CRAZY NIGHTKIN' thing wouldn't intimidate him.

Also, that would only work for items, weapons, and armor with no high-tech components requiring the Science Skill - Scraps only has Repair tagged, so there's things he just wouldn't be able to learn to make even if Poe DID try to teach him. :(

I'm sure Scraps will do what he feels he has to do. It occurs to me though that, eventually, Scraps WILL reach a point where he cannot carry any more weight. Sensor modules, fission batteries, conductors, scrap metal, and steam gauge assemblies are pretty heavy. Especially in bulk quantities. Not to mention all the other things Poe will have on his shopping lists.

If he starts stealing scrap and throwing it away just to keep it away from everyone else,

Mr. House said You will be disposed of.

They have a job to do, after all.
