Bio

I have been writing as a hobby for longer than you have been alive. I have been a regular member and roleplayer of no less than fourteen different online forums during that time (including the old RPG), five six eight of which no longer exist.

I was previously a regular on the Homestuck forums, but I became so sick of thread turnover there that I asked around and eventually found the Guild. Since joining, I have exclusively only participated in Advanced RPs. Before Mahz gave NRPs their own subforum, I used to be an NRP regular in the Advanced Subforum. I am a Guildfall survivor, and know/regularly write with a few others.

If you ask anybody who has written with me in previous RPs, they should tell you that I have a generally open schedule, I post regularly and in a timely fashion, and I never drop an RP once I join unless the thread dies. Some of them may tell you that I have extensive expertise within the realms of Biology, Psychology, and Physics, which I will make no effort to validate since there is no way I can provide hard proof of aforementioned alleged expertise to anybody over the internet (though I am happy to try and answer any questions you send my way).

My favorite fandom is the Myst franchise, which seemingly nobody other than me has ever heard of.

I was a Contest Moderator for the Writing Contests Subforum for just a little bit over two years. I wrote the Moderation Policy for that subforum and I ran a contest called the Twelve Labours; you can still go there and see all of them and the entries people wrote for them in the Contests Section and the Victory Archives.

I have been quadruple secret banned from the guild discord. That is not a joke.

What do you all think?

Edit: I can't make any real analytic decisions about the Virus without being told more about it - existing information is too vague.
Ok yeah this is disgusting to look at. I want the old forum back just so I can layer hiders inside hiders again.

My sheet is undergoing renovations to accommodate missing information that Darkmatter indicated might be helpful for others if present. However, functionally, the sheet is largely finished saved for flavor text and fluff.
History and Culture (and some other things) remain under construction!

An Oathbound Manifold

Technology: The Stoor Manifold has no true technology as it would be properly thought of by most other species. The Stoor exclusively use organic constructs to mimic the utility and function of technological devices used by other factions. Their natural tendency to manipulate genetic structures and the high abundance of heavy elements in their home system have made the Stoor unparalleled in the realm of genetic engineering, and they specialize in using organic constructs to exploit principles of nuclear physics.

Military Structure: The Stoor military is made up of 625 divisions, with 300 for the regular army, 300 for the naval forces, and 25 serving as elite forces. A number of civilian forces control all military wetware, while the Complex acts as military command.

The lack of BBcode is going to make info dumps less pleasing to read but unfortunately there is nothing I can do about.

Just to say, unless you've gone crazy with colors and special text fonts and font sizes and spoiler bars, the conversion should be smooth enough. QQcode that the forum uses accepts most emphatics like [b ] and [i ], and hiders still work as long as they aren't stacked inside of each other. The only thing that should be crazy is internal links and images.
Just couldn't wait for the OOC and nation sheet. :P

It's Human led though. I mean unique human free nations.

I've got you covered.

You'll see once the OOC is up. My faction sheet is, for all intents and purposes, complete.

Saving of course for any specific descriptors Darkmatter will want that I might not have accounted for.
Hey, you know who did the anti-Human thing way back in AaMS, before it was cool? >.>

*Preens*

So yeah I'm not doing that this time. Going to eschew your petty Machine vs. Coffin Stuffing battle. I'm way too cooooooooooool for that.

But yeah no seriously, it does strike me your'e recycling a bit too much of the previous RP that I wasn't in. Are you sure you lot don't want to at least wait for the OOC to go up and a few faction sheets to be thrown up before you go and start refining the details of the Great Big Plot Tumor acting as a facade for the actual plot? :P

@Terminal: Eh, I'm not sure "virtually indistinguishable" is the phrase I would use.

*Sticks a hand in Darkspleen's face*

Shh. Don't tell anyone. '-'
Also, a lot of us are sort of 'regulars' if you will, back from the old Guild. So we're familiar with the sort of shenanigans everyone else likes to get up to.

*Leans on the non-humanoid aliens nonchalantly.*

That said, don't be discouraged. As Darkspleen just alluded to, even those who are recycling nation concepts are typically changing several facets of them considerably. I've read of two of Darkspleen's Commonwealths before, and both were virtually indistinguishable from each other.

Well i will not be interacting in any wars.

You will if others bring the wars to you.

For the record: My faction will be, let us say, nominally peaceful. No war for the sake of war or for the purpose of conquering new territories.
