Bio

I have been writing as a hobby for longer than you have been alive. I have been a regular member and roleplayer of no less than fourteen different online forums during that time (including the old RPG), five six eight of which no longer exist.

I was previously a regular on the Homestuck forums, but I became so sick of thread turnover there that I asked around and eventually found the Guild. Since joining, I have exclusively only participated in Advanced RPs. Before Mahz gave NRPs their own subforum, I used to be an NRP regular in the Advanced Subforum. I am a Guildfall survivor, and know/regularly write with a few others.

If you ask anybody who has written with me in previous RPs, they should tell you that I have a generally open schedule, I post regularly and in a timely fashion, and I never drop an RP once I join unless the thread dies. Some of them may tell you that I have extensive expertise within the realms of Biology, Psychology, and Physics, which I will make no effort to validate since there is no way I can provide hard proof of aforementioned alleged expertise to anybody over the internet (though I am happy to try and answer any questions you send my way).

My favorite fandom is the Myst franchise, which seemingly nobody other than me has ever heard of.

I was a Contest Moderator for the Writing Contests Subforum for just a little bit over two years. I wrote the Moderation Policy for that subforum and I ran a contest called the Twelve Labours; you can still go there and see all of them and the entries people wrote for them in the Contests Section and the Victory Archives.

I have been quadruple secret banned from the guild discord. That is not a joke.

Since it will shortly become relevant (hohoho) - what happens to a bound spirit if its summoner is killed?

I would like to reserve Sloth as a Sin please. I will also be creating an Angel profile. You can expect both profiles sometime tomorrow.
Knock knock?
@Terminal could we work out an University collaboration program? Seeing as we have aligning cultures, I would suspect us to be close allies.
We do? *Checks* Ah. You changed it. It's possible. I imagine there's likely something approaching a student/teacher exchange program between them, although there would also probably be some form of rivalry, especially if they have different educational priorities. The Lyceum's style is an analogue for Empirical Western Science, and seeing as how Raeligo has something of an Eastern vibe to it, perhaps there might be a schism in their underlying governing philosophies? Though I do question how the Aestrom can be the Equal of the Lyceum when there's a two point difference in their respective Technology scores. :P
Note: Read the history section first. Name: Carssos
Leader: Pedagogue Lucrepides Geography: Barren, desolate, unarable wasteland consisting mostly of rocky soil. The climate is temperate with both rain and snowfall, and there exist a number of rivers and large lakes which nonetheless are completely devoid of life save for migratory fish. Gently rolling hills form completely uninteresting bowls and ridges in some places. The only advantage the land possesses is its relatively central location. Religion: The religions of Carssos are all taken from the surrounding lands, and is possibly the biggest single source of contention present. The Lyceum encourages 'canalized' educations for individuals with restrictive religions that run contrary to enlightened educational paradigms, and otherwise espouses that religion is an affair private to the individual, to be observed but handled separately to the course of teaching within the Lyceum.
A'right. It's gone.
Kuro did not once look at Alan as the boy spoke out against speaking in private, the Rider's eyes slightly turned off to the side as he listened to the Serpentine stand and demand an apology. He didn't have to think too hard to come to a decision - the boy was ultimately inconsequential. "Very well." Kuro immediately acquiesced in a clipped tone. He pulled up a seat and settled at the table, laying his right arm across its surface, hand idle. His left arm remained below the table-line. Kuro's segue was spoken in a quiet tone, inaudible beyond the confines of the table. The manner of his speech was matter-of-fact, unrushed, and unconcerned. "There are two issues we must discuss. Firstly, while I do not know if you were aware, there are several Kusagi members present in the guild, predominantly amongst the Serpentines and the Errant Knights. Quite a few of them are practitioners of Seishin. Any one of them might be willing to pay for your journey home as a courtesy, and if not, could at least continue your training in the absence of a master while you work to earn the funds for a return trip. The Red Hawks were not an apt choice, miss. They have no prominent swordsmen or summoners familiar with Kusagi spirits and lore. Your particular talents and training are wasted on them." Either this boy..." Kuro gestured vaguely at Alan, whom he had not once looked at. "...or myself may sponsor your entry into either band, which would help to ease the transition considerably...though we would need a demonstration of your skills in order to sponsor you. The Serpentines have several trials to obtain membership, but the Errant Knights are more accepting. Either way, the paperwork involved would be minimal."
Well, I'm posting then.
Isodope! You left out the GCN in your post! Seven Desert Streams is all alone. :(
