Hi, I just introduced myself and I’m making a roleplay because frankly, I feel like it! I put this in Advanced because I generally like to RP lots of words and I do around two-three paragraphs per post, but sometimes just one if I don’t have much to say. I also generally prefer 1x1 roleplays where we each play 1-3 (or OCCASIONALLY more, if the story calls for it) main characters and then add our own background characters as needed.
Characters I will be playing:
Alt!universe Doctor, Alt!universe Master, Alison Cheney (Scream of the Shalka/Feast of the Stone mini-series and follow up short story, non-canon).
Characters you will be playing:
Ideally an OC, preferably human, any planet or time period acceptable. Let me know what you want to play beforehand!
Plot summary: After the Feast of the Stone, Alison doesn’t trust the Doctor. They’ve had a few adventures together, sure, and the Doctor has saved her life, sure. But she certainly doesn’t trust the Master, who by his own description is trapped in a robotic body for crimes he refuses to explain to her and that only make her more suspicious, and after the Doctor nearly got her killed by the psychic vampire she is definitely not sure what to do with his newfound untrustworthy nature. But when they land back on Earth to pay a visit to Alison’s mother, the Doctor runs into a strange yet familiar face… and a new enemy. That’s where your character comes in. One way or another, they’re involved in this somehow, and your character may be the only person who knows how to stop this looming threat.
Further details: I basically intend to brainstorm the mystery alien threat with you, the person joining, before we begin to roleplay. I’m also rating this RP as 18+ not because it will have smut in it specifically, but because it will definitely at least discuss more mature themes and content even if nothing explicit happens. Although, I am open to some sort of romance between any general combination of characters, a romance which I’d rather be somewhere between medium hot-burn and slow-burn, which can involve smut but doesn’t have to.
Rules are basically don’t be a bigot, a jerk, or a skullduggerous weirdo. Respect my boundaries, I in turn will respect yours. I don’t roleplay with people who don’t respect me but if you’re chill I can absolutely be a hoot to roleplay with and I hope I can get in some good fandom based RP!
This roleplay will contain these trigger warnings, but a broad “don’t enter if you’re easily triggered” warning is generally applicable as I might not list every trigger. Here goes!
Alcoholism, alcohol abuse, death, violence, moderate gore, alien body horror, robotic horror, trauma, traumatic experiences, discussions of trauma, toxic relationships, possible explicit romance, eating disorders, abusive relationships, and sexual relationships will be discussed and maybe roleplayed.
Also, this is set in the Metacrisis Doctor and Scream of the Shalka universes respectively. They’re the same universe and we may see a certain Rose by any other name show up here… but of course, I don’t want to spoil that part of the plot!
If I missed anything let me know, or if you have any questions just ask! I just want to get us started on a plot. Also, if my writing feels OOC, that’s probably because it is a little- I’m roleplaying with some of my own original lore, so not everything in the Doctor Who universe will be considered canon in the same way in this universe.
