People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

Bills wife turned to him and kissed him on the cheek before running over to Jenso and hugging him. "Oh thank god you're alive! We've been worried sick!" She said hysterically. Bills brother and him exchanged a nod, before the mayor turned to Jenso with a somber frown.

"How are you holding up, boy?" The mayor asked. He was a reserved man, Bill's older brother and the guy who ran the town. "Well, I hope. After this bloody mess it'd be hard to keep it together."

"Jenso, I just finished a new shirt for you!" Maggie said, backing away and running into the other room. "One moment!" Bill shook his head and motioned Jenso towards the dinner table, where his sandwich still sat, wrapped in plastic.

"I saved it for ya. You must be hungry after being out for nearly an entire day."
Bill tapped the wall a couple times in frustration. "Magic? Jenso, you 'aint a monster like that guy. There's no magic for you in this world," He stopped and started heading upstairs, hoping Jenso would give up the stupid idea of going after Prisma. "How would you even find him?" Bills voice grew quieter as he left to the main floor, but Jenso could hear his wife and his brother talking about something above them. Jenso's shirt looked far too damaged to wear as it lay strewn in the dirty fabric. They hadn't even bothered to wash the blood out, not that they could. White fabric was so difficult to purify.
"Are you crazy?" Bill grunted, dropping his arms and tossing Jenso's shirt onto a pile of useless rags. "That guy will kill you the way you are right now! He uses some kind of voodoo-shit that nobody's ever seen before! Fucking magic, Jenso!" Bill turned away from him and walked towards the exit of the basement, stopping next to the door and leaning against the wall. "Nobody wants you to just go and throw away your life."
"Don't," Bill cut in, walking away from Jenso towards his shirt, "You did what you could. That's more than anyone could have asked. If you didn't step in, me and my family might have been killed too." Although Bill reassured him, did his words really mean anything? He grabbed Jenso's shirt and walked back over to him. "It's got a couple holes in it, sorry," Bill croaked, opening the white shirt to reveal the stab wounds and vivid red stains. "My wife is making your a shirt upstairs as we speak."
@Lugia I'm here, waiting on people.
Major Characters

The Heroes

Jenso

The Golden Hero
Jenso is the story's main protagonist. He hails from a small city known as Arcadia on the edge of this world's super continent. His tale begins brutally, with Prisma, a masked fellow with a crazed demeanor, slaughtering his entire village in a fit of psychotic bloodlust. From then on, Jenso has been traveling the world after barely surviving Prisma's attack, dedicating his life to finding Prisma, and avenging his people, whilst protecting anyone he can in the process.

Jenso is an honor-bound fighter with a heart of gold and a head of iron. He charges head-first into battle with little restraint, but as he's gained experience in the heat of battle, and learned from the many friends he's made during his adventures, Jenso has hardened his battle sense, and learned his limits. Although he is a passionate fighter, and seeks to destroy all evil, Jenso will avoid killing his opponents if possible. Jenso's compassion is one of his biggest strengths, while simultaneously being one of his biggest weaknesses.

Jenso dons a golden shirt, a pair of blue pants, and has a flashy hair-doo that flows like actual fire. He stands roughly 5'9'' and has a very muscular build.

Abilities: Super Strength, Flame manipulation, Ki Manipulation, Arki Mastery

Jeff

The Wind Sage Guardian
Jeff is a rogue inventor who spends his time trying to push the limits of technology. His story began across the chasm of the arcane, in a small village. Rajaka, a masked individual with unbelievable strength, stampeded into his village one day, and launched Jeff across the world with a titanic throw. Jeff has since found a home in Tech-Mo city as a professional machinist, and ultimately, the head of the Heroes guild, built after the events in Tech-Mo featuring Jenso himself. He now continues his efforts to push past his limits, and keep Tech-Mo in a good place.

Jeff is an erratic individual with a small attention span. Without proper motivation and focus, his thoughts drift constantly from one idea to another, in the workplace, and on the battlefield. He seems to have no manners, and will often speak out of turn without regard for what's happening, or what the situation is. Sometimes it provides just the right amount of levity, other times it throws the mood into a ditch. Just like Jenso, he fights for what's right, and becomes inspired by the spirit of his allies.

Jeff wears a black jacket, blue jeans, and can often be seen wearing two multi-purposed gauntlets. He stands roughly 5'10'' and has a thin, athletic build.

Abilities: Super Speed, Wind Manipulation, Ki Manipulation, Arki Mastery

Alvios Maeti

The Scion of Light
Alvios is a "wandering" swordsman, and the supposed descendant/reincarnation of a sun deity, Helios. His story began when a young girl named Shadra showed up at his village during a summer festival. When Alvios attempted to stop her from harming a young girl, he attracted the wrath of a man in a red coat and black mask, who promptly killed nearly the entire population, and razed it to the ground. With that, he took up the blade of the village's subject of worship, Helios, and set out to become strong enough to exact a just revenge. However, it was only a few short months before he found himself stuck in the port town of Corona, leading the guards in defending against a hive-mind race of insect creatures dubbed the Swarm.

Alvios is a kindhearted but firm man, and believes that the greater good comes before individual niceties. His brand of honor is in delivering as much respect as people earn and deserve, and punishing those who go against that. He tends to be a voice of reason and practicality in group settings, although his logical approach can come off as colder than his good intentions. He fights in an efficient and defensive manner, playing defensively while looking to exploit openings, rather than trying to outright overpower his foe. He is more than satisfied with simply trading injuries, as his healing prowess usually favors him in combat or attrition.

Alvios wears a purple jacket, red shirt, and blue-grey jeans; when travelling, he wears leather boots and gloves, with metal plates over the toes and forearms. His brown hair is nape-length, with fair skin and bright blue eyes. His sword is kept strapped at his left hip. The weapon itself is a double-edged hand-and-a-half sword, with a bright silver blade and hilt.

Abilities: Light manipulation, Ki manipulation, Healing, Weapon: Sword of Helios

Major NPC Protagonists

Lark

Lark is a kind, wise, and sometimes really annoying middle aged man who lived alone in Zentai forest at the start of Jenso's adventures. He's one of the last living Gaians, and knows about the arcane, and Ki. During the Tech-Mo City arc, Lark met his end after the events in Feralda kingdom at the hands of Yzeira.

Despite his age, he's a very good looking man with a thin face and rough, smooth features. His hair is medium length and curly, but he has no facial hair. He wears animal furs, and has a very muscular build. He standing roughly 6 feet tall and is usually smiling.

Lark passed after the battle at Ferelda with Rajaka, Zelriane, and Yzeira, but not before granting Jenso a new power with the sacred ritual of Gaia.

Abilities: Weapon Summon: Soul breaker Great-sword, Arki Mastery, One With Nature Fusion (Pij : Falcon)

Major Villains

Bobba, the merciless merchant

A boastful shop-keep in Orobo who will try to sell you your own shirt, assuming you 'accidentally' drop it on the road. Bobba is quite tall, lanky, and wears a colorful green and blue square-patterned shirt the puffs out to reveal his toned chest. His pants are similar, but made out of very high quality materials. He wears his bleach blonde hair in a pony-tale, and is completely clean shaven. The man often spends his time scavenging caves and forests for materials, which is the only reason his shop is so stocked!

Jenso dispatched Bobba during the Orobo Arc, defeating him upon awakening his inner strength. His whereabouts are now unknown.

Abilities: Stone manipulation, Explosive magic

Unparalleled Frost, Gol-Ira

The head golem of Noir. Gol-Ira is a humanoid child-like crystalline golem with three hearts as opposed to the standard one. Its mastery over ice magic and levitation is extremely dangerous, and his abilities are strong enough to completely negate lower level fire magic. Gol-Ira has no emotions, and only seeks power to sustain his golem army.

Jenso defeated Gol-Ira during the Pharie arc, stopping him from attaining ultimate power through the Pharie meteor. Vale later killed Gol-Ira by destroying its main core.

Abilities: Ice manipulation, levitation.

Sera, The False Gaian

Swarm Queen, Cilia

Geode, Genesis Origin Deity

Vale

Vale does not play nice with anyone who crosses his path, but seems to have a fondness for Jenso. He's coy, obnoxious, verbose, and awfully tricky to speak with. He wears skin tight black fabric, and a purple cloak. His hair is snow white, and tied back in a braided ponytail that reaches his waist. His facial features are sharp, and his ears are pointed, along with his longer-than-usual canines.

Prisma

A mischievous man who finds joy in killing, and is only further encouraged by any surprises he comes across. He often does as he pleases, regardless of what anyone asks of him. His skin is of normal hue, but he wears a black mask to cover his facial features, has snow-white spiky hair, cold glowing white eyes, and wears a loose white vest that reveals his stomach and middle chest, as well as a pair of chain leggings held together by white fabric.
~ Chapter 2 ~

An Impossible Meal

Jenso awoke to a chandelier hanging over his head. His entire body ached. What happened? Where was he?

"Finally, you're awake," a familiar voice called out to him. It was Bill, and this was his shop. It all came back as Jenso regained his consciousness. He had been stabbed by that Prisma fiend and left for dead. Why wasn't he dead? That wound should have killed him. "You're not normal, kid." Jenso would find that his shirt was hung up near the exit to Bill's basement, and his entire middle section was covered in clean bandages. "We only had to change those once," Bill said, gesturing towards the wrappings, "I can't believe you're still alive."

Jenso was laying on a table in Bill's shop basement. He'd been down here before, when Bill showed him around the shop, or asked him to make a delivery. It was dark, and filled with boxes that contained a myriad of things from food to clothes. Bill patted Jenso's chest and huffed happily, his eyes damp from tears. "They're all dead, man. The rest of them are dead."
"You're weak! A plain ole' little match blowing in the wind, urging to go out! Ahaha!" Suddenly, all of the white men dissipated except for the one holding Jenso. "Eh?" It was quick, and he didn't catch it, nor could Jenso, but every last one of his clone were taken down by a series of bullets fired from the top of a building across the plaza. The citizens around Jenso reluctantly began to close in on the man that held him, but in the same time it took the mysterious interference to kill of the intruder's clones, four more appeared, surrounding him and Jenso from all sides. All four changed their arms into blades, and began to massacre the surrounding villagers who attempted to fight back. They stood absolutely no chance against him, falling one as their heads rolled, or their torsos were harpooned. "Who was that??" The white man cried out in surprised, allowing his clones to do that work. He scanned the rooftops until he found something. The eyes of each clone glowed in unison. "Another Hero, eh? You're a dime a dozen," The man holding Jenso whispered into his ear.

Suddenly, one of the man's clones disappeared, and reappeared on the roof across the plaza with its hand already bladed at both sides. With a single jab, the sniper was cut clean in half, and his body parts fell from the roof.

"I'll be sure to kill every last one of your peers, little man. Know that Prisma was responsible for the genocide of your people as you pass into the void," Prisma whispered again, impaling Jenso's stomach with a blade that shot out of his chest. It missed his heart, but Jenso would soon fall to the ground, all the strength leaving his body. "Hehehehe..."

Everything went dark.

~ End Of Chapter 1 ~
The Civilians around Jenso didn't back up. They simply watched in horror as another clone of the white clothed man jumped from out of the crowd and grabbed Jenso from behind, holding his arms in place and trapping his feet in the dirt with two swirls of gravel and stone that rose from beneath them.

"Yes, run! Allow your little friend to be killed before you! Ahahaha!" The white man shouted from behind Jenso. His two clones with bladed arms neared him, but Jenso would find it impossible to break free from the man's diamond-hard grasp. What kind of power was this!?

"Run!"

"Run away!"

The crowds began to grow, circling Jenso thicker and thicker until the gathering around him with too dense to see through. Over 50 people, easily. The white-eyed man looked around curiously, and his eyes went slightly dimmer to reveal two whitened pupils and irises, as if he were blind. "Why don't they run? Why don't they hide? Do they expect to match me? Do they expect to save you?" The man asked Jenso with silent whispers.

The crowds around them drew close to the executioners with aggressive intent. Some pulled out stakes and knives. Others rose their fists. "L-Leave Jenso alone!" A little boy cried in unison, holding a wooden sword between his hands. One of the two clones turned towards the boy, his eyes lighting up in unison with the other two clones. He walked towards him slowly, wiping Jenso's blood off the tip of his bladed hand with the palm of his other.

"Brave boy! Brave boy! You fancy yourself a hero, do you?" He mocked the child. Some of the adults around him stepped in the white man's way, but he didn't stop. "Out of my way, people! I've a child to entertain!" The man reeled his bladed hand back and swiped from left to right, cutting through not only their weapons, but the torsos of every civilian in his way. 6 people fell forwards and quickly bled out before him, revealing the child with his sword at the ready. The adults behind him began to back away.

"Jonathan! Run!" his mother cried out, but the little boy would not turn from his opponent. The white man's clone eyed him with a smile that was slightly visible beneath the tightly-fitted black mask.

"An aura? Ho-hum, so young. What a waste of potential!" He shouted, thrusting his bladed hand forward. In one quick movement, the child was impaled by the White man's blade, straight through the chest. He dropped his wooden sword and went limp as life left his body.

The third clone, between the murdered child and Jenso, looked at Jenso during all of this, taunting him with an evil look in his eyes. "Fighting people like me is pointless!" He mocked, turning his bladed arm back into a fist. "Can't you see that, little fledgling?"
The left clone ducked Jenso's wide kick and slashed at his chest with an agile swing of his bladed arm. the second clone immediately jumped to where Jenso stood before, and stabbed at him from afar, aiming to pierce is abdomen with the tip of his blade. They both grew uncharacteristically quiet as their moves became more precise and deadly. It seems that Jenso surprising them had awakened some sort of killer instinct in their minds.
