People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

Jenso punched, but it was no use. The distance between him and the spikes continued to narrow. Jenso could barely hear Dacer's arrows striking the outer dome, but he seemed to be making no progress himself.
Jenso's fist crashed the second dome clean open, sending him through to the final Dome that was no larger than a large cart in height. But as he entered the final areas, the two domes behind him closed shut in an instant, and the final dome sprouted hundreds of little spikes. Suddenly, the middle dome began to shrink, pulling Jenso towards the spikes helplessly.
The second dome was only a few feet beyond the first, creating a hollow area between the two layers of granite.
The man blinked, vacantly eyeing Jeff with a growing smirk. "Guild hall? The guild's been shut down for years, kid. Lynn thought it was unnecessary since her husband invented the AD-rifles. Those guns make magic and skill pretty damn irrelevant. One shot, and anyone would be put flat on their asses. I suggest you bugger off, unless you have an invitation from Lynn or Hugh," he explained, pulling Jeff further from the steps.
"Of course it isn't! Keep drilling, I'm gunna make sure he doesn't reform out here!" Dacer shouted, circling the dome even more.
When Jenso's thrown rock struck Orobo's wrist, the cracked it and offset his cast, causing the giant rock to fall down and onto Orobo's head, crushing his body and striking the dome. Dacer yelled out in glee and met up with Jenso from his left. "Right on! Whoa, you broke through?" Dacer asked, glaring at the hole in the dome.

Infrequent Upkeep In Embassy City

"Who are you?" the man said, pulling Jeff away from the steps, "This is the private property of Madame Lynn."
"I'm Tommy," The man said, waving Jeff off. The driver didn't respond, and within moments, they were gone.

When Jeff approached the main entrance highway, nobody greeted him or even acknowledged his presence. There were many guards armed with those strange guns surrounding him. They seemed pretty confident that nobody in their right mind would try anything. He did however catch a few glances from time to time. As he made his way deeper into the city, the amount of armed guards didn't decrease at all. They were everywhere, like an infestation. It seemed a little excessive, but Jeff also noticed an abundance of vehicles similar to the trucks on the outskirts. Perhaps these two interesting Techs attracted a lot of crime? Who knew.

I was about twenty minutes before Jeff reached the massive embassy near the center of the city. The main entrance had a huge staircase leading up to several wide-open doors that lead right into the building. Somebody approached him near the bottom of the stairs and grabbed his shoulder before he could enter though.

Jenso's punch, rather than send the rock back, simply cracked it in half, leaving the two halves to tumble behind him and off the mountain. Orobo's body shifted again, towards Jenso, and began conjuring something massive above hits head with both hands. Dacer struck Orobo in the back with a ki arrow, but it didn't budge him at all. It only destroyed a small portion of his arcane infused body.
"Huh, strange stuff. I haven't seen magic in a long while, and eh... Ah never mind. Look! There's the main entrance," The man said, pointing ahead and turning forward. Jeff could see a pair of larger green towers close enough together that there was a tube connecting them several yards off the ground. "If I were you mate, I'd keep your uh.. Powers to yerself. You seem like a nice kid, after all," The man said as the truck came to a halt. The driver nodded at his friend's remark and pointed towards the main entrance where several people stood along a large brick road that lead into town.

"This is your stop."
