I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

Emilia blinked, and before she knew it, Lystra was upon the wall, and moments away from the lighted opening. Emilia followed after her in a hurry, "Wait!" She hissed, clutching the rock wall and pulling herself after Lystra. She climbed and climbed, eventually reaching the opening behind her friend, and gaze open the shrine within. Well, she'd seen it before, obviously, but it was still amazing to behold. Though, as expected, the base of the shrine was attached to the left-most wall, or the floor, as it were.

It was made of a dark bronze colored stone, and had three layers two it, easily distinguishable by the groves between them despite a large chunk of missing stone on one side of the mini pyramid shaped shrine. But the light wasn't coming from that. The light emanated from a small circular chunk of steel, half-buried in rubble near the center of the room. It rested immobile against the floor, and glowed even brighter as the two entered the room. "That's what I wanted to show you!" Emilia shrieked, grabbing her friend's shoulders and bouncing up and down excitedly. "Though, I don't remember it doing that. "The light began to pulsate brighter and faster when Emilia pushed Lystra towards the metal circle, prompting her to let go immediately and back away. "Geez, it's a good thing I didn't try picking it up last time.."

The clone reacted again without error, and turned towards Jenso, but it dodged to the left instead of meeting his attack this time. With a flick of its wrist, the fire-mine launched itself towards Jenso and exploded in front of his face.
Shadow Jenso waited patiently as Jenso's fist came forward, not budging an inch. The clone knew about Jenso's feigned moves, there was no tricking it while it wasn't in danger. As Jenso got close to his clone, it pointed one hand at the ground in front ot of it, and launched a blast of orange fire to block Jenso's path, creating a ball of flames that rotated and grew between them like a mine.
The clone dispelled its flames and turned to face Jenso, easily keeping up with his speed. His reaction time and strength proved to be completely equal when he jumped back and matched Jenso's kick with his own kick. The attacks cancelled each-other out, and sent the clone flying back, and landing on its feet. But was Jenso also ok? Despite the equal power, both the clone and Jenso had to have taken some damage from the exchange. The clone looked like it was uneven, but its leg suddenly straightened out like it was repaired in an instant.

"Oh, did I not mention? Not only is your clone smarter than you, but it's also practically invincible, Mhmhmh!" Ada taunted, chuckling silently under her breath, "After watching you fight for so long, it was easy to copy your capabilities. I've seen all your moves and all of your power! Not only that, but I used my knowledge on magic to make him even better at manipulating fire than you, silly boy!"

Shadow Jenso faced the real Jenso down with no feeling in his eyes as Ada spoke. The clone then got into a fighting stance, and covered its hands in flames.
As Jenso dodged, the clone pulled its foot free and followed him, pulling its left flaming fist back and throwing it up to catch jenso's foot with its blazing palm. It then rose its other hand and fired a blast of red flames at Jenso, in the shape of a perfect orb.
The clone took the punch without flinching, but it didn't move right away. "Maybe you need," Ada started as the clone looked up at Jenso and reeled back its fist, "A lesson!" The clone's fist flew forward at Jenso's face, bathed in flames. It wasn't the fabled Flame-Dragon punch, but the heat from his fist radiated like crazy. Instead of the normal reddish orange fire that Jenso normally used, the flames around the clone's hand were blue!
Ada's eyes narrowed and she rose her hand, "So I've been told! Ahaha," She said, sending shadow Jenso forward. The clone of Jenso swept his foot low, and attempted to knock the read Jenso off his feet. Something was strange about him though. Not only was this close just as fast as the real deal, but it was like he had... Ki!
Jenso's kick smacked both imps back, and his backwards momentum prevented the puddles from even attempting to lash out at him. The three puddles then dissolved, and Ada turned to Jenso and opened her eyes. She rose a hand and beckoned him forwards, summoning an exact copy of Jenso's body in front of her to fight him. It ran forwards immediately, but didn't have a puddle underneath.

"How about I show you how to use that body of yours, mhmhmhm..."
@Necrophage On second thought, let's just not retcon his meeting with sulfrax and the event at Hyznia castle. I just remembered how crucial that all was to the plot lmao.

Oh, and new rem is accepted.
