I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

Ok sorry, I've been obsessed with pokemon Moon for the past couple of days, but I'll get to posting later tonight, I promise xP
@Thinslayer Am... Am I there?
Ross looked up at Jenso and chuckled between a couple coughs. "Haha, yeah. You've got Gaia in you, kid! Thanks for the beating!" Ross said happily, struggling back onto his feet. He looked Jenso over and thought about something. Ross frowned for a moment but nodded and his smile returned. "Good luck with the rest of the fights.. I'm sure you'll win!" He announced, walking off the stage.
Ross looked up and rose a hand, blocking Jenso's fireballs from above with a rounded-wall of stone that crumbled moments after, failing to stop the smoke from spreading. Straight after, Jenso's next fireball struck his face, and he staggered back onto his feet. Then, without a chance to react, he felt something strike his stomach, knocking him off of the ground, and flat onto his back. After the smoke cleared, Ross was not moving, and the victor had been decided.

"W..Winner is Jenso! Jenso has toppled the earth render!" The crowd went wild when the announcer spoke. It was the first amazing match to take place, as far as they were concerned. If all of the fights were going to be like this, maybe losing more than half the roster wasn't so bad after all!
Sent my sheet out. Will be ready to post once it's been accepted.
Ross Clenched his fist as the chunk of stone flew towards him, and it turned to dust. But It also sent his Pillar careening towards Jenso as well. The fireball struck him dead on though, forcing him onto one knee. Ross had terrible reaction speed without his sword, especially with all the pain and Jenso's tricky maneuvers playing into the situation. He might not have totally seemed like it, but he was already being pushed to his edge.

Mikey watched closely, scanning Jenso's fighting style carefully as the fight went on. He knew Ross was physically stronger, but Jenso's speed and intelligence, paired with his superior stamina, and fire abilities, made it clear as to who was going to win this round.
Jenso escaped and the stones fell to dust, but Ross wasn't summoning his sword again. "Ha... Damn it," Ross grunted, "I can't wield my earth render like this. Guess it's just time to rend it the old fashioned way!" Ross followed Jenso with his eyes, but didn't do anything at first. Then, he jumped towards Jenso, and stomped on the ground, rising a pillar in his path, and hoping that Jenso wouldn't notice it as he watched Ross.
Genin all around the courtyard's main entrance turned towards an unsightly disturbance. Whispers and sighs echoed silently between the students as one of the village's Jonin found herself trudging through the front gate, uncomfortably pulling at something that slowed her to a crawl. She jerked and huffed irritably, prompting several chuckles. What in the world was she doing? A few moments after her apperance, it became painfully clear as she tore a boy from behind the courtyard's frontal wall.

"Quit pulling," Jinn grunted, with her newly assigned student caught firmly in her grasp. Tetsuba pulled and yanked as hard as he could, struggling to escape Jinn's vice-like grip to no avail. "Quit it." It was rare to see any shinobi putting on such a defiant display the way Tetsuba had with his assigned sensei, but what little reputation he had made it somewhat believable for any who'd recognized his name. Jinn scanned the courtyard silently while the boy continued to struggle, spotting her other two students a few moments later, to her relief. She released Tetsuba's wrist, and let him tumble backwards. In a clumsy display of stubbornness, several Genin found themselves toppled by Tetsuba as he careened towards their small group. A Chorus of grunts and angry shouts rained upon the boy as he stood himself up and scrambled back towards Jinn. Clumsy idiot, reckless jerk, why is he even here? Jinn shook her head and waved to both Kazuhiko, and Natsuko. "Hey, kids!" She called out. It was a little early for her to arrive, but Jinn hadn't ever found herself in this position before. Teaching Genin? The Hokage wasn't exactly clear on when, or how her duties were supposed to be carried out. So, in a shameless display, she'd rushed to find all three of her pupils, starting with the most difficult of the lot. Tetsuba spun around and dusted off his cloth pants, and bare chest. The boy's appearance was curious, but it hardly drew as much attention as his bitter attitude. As soon as his composure returned, he looked over to the two Genin that Jinn had called towards them. He didn't recognize either of them, why should he? What he did notice though, were Kazuhiko's pale eyes. They resembled the famed Hyuga eye coloration, an appearance that Tetsuba found a strange comfort in. For one who's own eyes were unusually pale, it was nice when others shared his problems. Though, to his knowledge, the Byakugan was not frowned upon in Konoha, and the Hyuga was dearly respected, much unlike the Tetsuba clan.

"We're not supposed to-"

"Hush!" Jinn hissed, spinning towards Tetsuba for a brief moment. He flinched, but stood his ground and shrugged it off. There really wasn't any point in trying to run off again. He'd already been publicly humiliated. What more harm was there in just... Going with the flow? He set his eyes back on the two that Jinn waved over and sighed. The small silvered Genin wasn't looking forward to any of this.
"Ha.." Fred shifted nervously for a moment before grabbing Oz's arm and pulling him away frantically, "Sorry to dissapoint!" He shouted, sprinting off with Oz in tow as quickly as he could manage. Although he was a thin man, Fred had surprisingly abnormal agility, but his strength left much to be desired. He could barely manage to uproot Oz if he wasn't willing to follow, let alone tear him across the entire forest.

A flurry of small red humanoid creatures with pointed tails crawled out of the thickets like spidermonkies, hissing wildly and bearing their sharpened, gnarled fangs. Their eyes were black as soot, and revealed killing intent. However, despite their tiny body frames, no larger than a child, they did not travel in groups. A quick scan would reveal only 5 of the small creatures, but at the rate at which they began moving, it became clear that outrunning them, or outmaneuvering them, would be difficult. How the hell did Fred survive so long out here on his own?
Ross's hands twitched as the flames burned away at his skin. Without his protective layer of stone-flesh, he felt the full brunt of Jenso's attack, which burned his palms severely. He dropped his blade, which disappeared before hitting the ground, and stepped back, but as he did so, he swung his hands up, surrounding Jenso with four small walls of stone.
