I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

As soon as he head left the hallway, a flash of energy surged through his body, and the colors faded. He was in the infirmary, where several men with high-tech equipment like the guards outside were standing around Mikey's body. What luck! But where was Ross? There were five men, and they were all on immediate guard. One of them stepped forward though, and cleared his throat, looking at Jenso through his mechanical visor.

"Jenso! Why are you breaking down walls like that? Weren't you allowed access to the castle peacefully?" He asked, as the other four men glared at him intensely.
Depends what 'divine' means.
Jenso's fist struck the wall with a mighty crash, launching the marble into an open room. However, the room beyond the hold looked like a rainbow of random colors, as if it was another dimension.

"Who the hell was that?!" A voice called out from within the strange dimension. Was this a way out? Or..
Rebecca looked up at Alvios, but before she could follow his orders, Shadra reached out and grasped her hand. She squeezed tightly, prompting Rebecca to squeal in pain. "Hey! That hurts!"

"That hurts," Shadra growled, squeezing tighter. She yanked Rebecca forward. The little girl tripped and landed beneath Shadra's body. "I shouldn't be here," Shadra whispered, looking around herself, shocked by the surroundings. "I shouldn't be here. Rebecca, I.." Shadra looked down at the little girl, she wasn't moving. Her little arm was coated in erratic markings, that matched the patterns of her veins and ran all the way up to her neck. She whimpered, but didn't scream. When Shadra let go of her, the darkness in her arm disappeared, but Rebecca fell forwards, and didn't move. Shadra backed away from the little girl, bumping into another man that stood near by. The jutted forward and stood up on two legs. The people turned, one after another, to see Rebecca's little body laying motionless, and Alvios standing nearby with Shadra.

She wasn't breathing.

~ Chapter 2 ~

Nowhere To Call Home

Felix was left with nothing. No home, no friends, and no idea about what had just happened. Prisma showed no interest in chasing him down, but why was that? Where the hell did he come from, and what was he purpose there?
Felix was left with a horrific horizon of flames and smoke. Within minutes, building began to fall, and just outside the city walls, he could see small figures running across the grassing plains. But, one after another, they were struck down but shards of steel, or balls of energy that pierced their bodies with ease. A familiar man stood near the south entrance of the town, and scanned the surroundings carefully, until he noticed Felix, standing on top of a nearby hill. He glared the the boy momentarily and smiled, holding up the decapitated head of a dwarf. It wasn't Lorges, or Durwith, but from so far away, Felix might have not been able to tell, regardless.

The smoldering remains of the tavern brought upon a strange sensation in Prisma's core. The remaining husk of the strange masked man revealed little more than a pair of legs, standing firmly braced against a pair of wood planks. Prisma's entire upper half was gone. But just above his waistline, a perfectly black orb of steel floated in place, with a pair of white slits glaring up at the revealed sky. Prisma's body began to reform around the sphere as it was pushed up by a stream of silver liquid. Within moments, he was back to normal, but Felix was gone. It didn't matter though, he knew where the boy had gone.

"My my, and I didn't even get a chance to.."
"My my, and I didn't even get a chance to.."
"My my, and I didn't even get a chance to.."
"My my, and I didn't even get a chance to.."
"My my, and I didn't even get a chance to.." Prisma's clones all spoke in unison, wherever they might have been in Farndale. He paused and his expressions, across the spectrum of his form, were filled with shock. Something had forced him into one pattern of thought for a moment, but it didn't last.

Prisma's look of shock disappeared, and she dropped the dwarf's head before heading back into the city, and left Felix to gaze upon the results of his work. Farndale was no more.

~ End Of Chapter 1~
Depends. There's a set of laws for how magic works in the universe, that being the Ki-Arcane principal. As long as your explanation does not fall outside of that spectrum, you're free to take control of the origins on your sword.

That being said, Arcane and Ki are fairly simple and adaptable concepts that not everyone IC understands, so chances are, your explanation will be fine regardless.
Jenso kept running after the wall cracked, and sure enough, after running for about a minute, he saw the same crack in the exact same spot. It was definite! He was trapped in an illusion!
Sorry for the short posts, but don't be urged to make any major posts when stuff like this happens. There isn't a lot happening right now, and rather than go through every minute detail, I figure it's often better to just progress rather than stagnate in a scene where not much development can be made.
"Daydreaming?.. Where is my son?" Fuso grumbled, keeping his eyes locked with Lysta's. "Where did that monstrous man take him?" Emilia looked to Lystra, thinking it over herself. He was speaking about Kalen, wasn't he?
