I can understand why you are confused about it all. Darko seems to be a very mobile and faster paced character than the rest of us, and is really good at multitasking making alliances on one hand and killing innocent people with the other.
Currently the light gods are still in the council chambers, but the meeting we had was with Coty at the start of the game. That has ended now and we are more just loitering there. (we haven't done much)
While we were in the meeting/loitering Darko raised an army for his forest, sent a raiding army to cause trouble with the humans and went to recruit his mortal champion. After that he was allowed to infiltrate the council chambers which resulted in a display divine defense, but not before getting a prophecy told to him in straight words. Not liking this prophesy Darko called a meeting to discuss an alliance with Hal and has set in motion a hard of vampires, via the blood goddess, to destroy a human village on the edge of his forests. Now Darko waits for Hal at the Sacred Mountains.

Darko and the blood goddess are in the underworld. Well the blood goddess is at this moment.
@KatherinWinter he actually isn't. The blood goddess is summoning them. Darko is able to make a reflecting pool to speak to the blood goddess. He is at the sacred mountain. Your going to run into the blood goddess in the underworld.
I'm thinking a god of Elements. A Deity made of of the elements of the world.

Darko standing and waiting for his brother to show his face felt the vampires awaken and the village torn asunder. He raised his book from his side and looked for the spell he had for rolling darkness. And when he found it he was interrupted by His champion the The scream rose. "My lord. The vampires are moving. My Banshees are ready and waiting. What is it you wish of us." Darko looked at her. "The village to the south. Bring it to rubble with your screams then I want you to head here. There is a sacred tomb to two days away from it. Go in and bring me the Tombs of Darkness and Light. I wish to have it. Bring it to me." She bowed and vanished away and he cast the spell of rolling darkness casting over the coven of vampires moving toward their commander. Darko smiled and walked over to the dead soldier and waved his hands over his body pulling up the blood and formed a floating mirror and darko then waved his hand in front of it and his cowl showed in the blood pool in the underworld. "Hahaha well done Blood goddess. Well done.
