@TheWindel And she doesn't have to be a mind reader to tell this is not the same Miyu. But it will make it harder to miss.

Also interestingly enough:
Miyu the Honorless Blade's record-
Ruthuria: Fought for the angels until unconscious and captured.
Alt-Signia: Fought for the angels until brain damaged, and then attempted to continue helping but made things worse.
Hohenheim: Fought for the angels until killed, even if she did disregard Juno's orders.
Arcadia: Did not participate.
KC-00032: Fought for the angels nominally, she didn't fight anyone, just stole some machina stuff. Which hey, hurts them a tiny little bit. You can't fault her for not picking a fight with Eos.
As much as she whined, she never actually betrayed them until after losing her memory and becoming a completely different person.
@KoL Does Eos know whether or not everyone was going to turn around after they left? Does she have lie-detection/mind reading? If so, please tell, because that will make Miyu's situation so much better.

Eos: Because you're such a chronic traitor, we're installing a kill-switch.
Miyu: I don't remember doing that.
Eos: Hmm.. Ok, you don't. What do you remember?
Miyu: I fought a dude named Henry, and a guy named Zeruel.
Eos: Hmm... Have you seen our nice propaganda pamphlets?
@Lucius Cypher Miyu's powers in dream land are basically "Really really really annoyingly good defensive/reflection suite". She doesn't have brute force attack power. Also, it was Zeruel's post next, unless I'm being an idiot and missed it.
@Lucius Cypher But I came here for endless senseless war.
@KoL I wanted to leave and regroup. I was saying "Hey, everybody, let's pretend to retreat, and regroup outside and attack again". Aka, pulling Artoria's most historically successful "pretend to surrender then do something while the person you surrendered to isn't looking" maneuver.

And then you stated "If you leave the factory, the battle is over" and so we tried staying, and that didn't go well.

We wanted to retreat to outside the factory, up until the point you said "retreating loses the battle".
@TheWindel Henry was unable to land so much as a scratch on Juno. Juno only took a hit after she herself got distracted and got hit by Grafdakka. As for Henry crying against Eos, that was after we were told "No, you can't win, go home" in "your character will be permanently deleted if you stay" terms.

@KoL I maintain that the "meaningful victories" marker is at:
Machina: 2 (Regardless of who had bastion for one third of a fight, they got her back. And then they won the Ruthria-Alt-Signia-KC-00032 chain)
Angels: 1??? (They supposedly got a boon from Honenheim, but the only people who have actually been receiving battlefield applicable upgrades from her is the Machina, and the "everybody who lived can ask for a boon" gift that everyone got)
Demons: 0 (Arcadia was literally pointless, Bastion was recaptured before she got to do anything for the demons)
@TheWindel Miyu was done after getting toasted by Juno twice (I consider being throwing into mines and spikes as much her fault as Ni-Mu's), while Juno and Henry got toasted by her once, and then by Eos once, and then gave up.
@KoL And I'd be totally fine with an endless war if that meant "endless battles with other players" I'm not particularly fine with endless war when that means "Choose which GM character you want to get your face crunched in by today".

Almost all the characters who are giving up on the war/desperately trying a new angle are collectively doing so because they're tired of getting their shit wrecked by Vassals and Vassal-tier threats who are above the scale allowed to PCs. Henry, Fran, and Miyu's reasons for going "well, this is pointless" can basically be summarized "Juno and a little bit of Eos".

I maintain that the worst thing to happen to this roleplay, was when Juno showed up, and half the playerbase suddenly jumped in power to try and fight her, and the other half stayed true to their characters, resulting in basically halving the pool of people who could enjoy fighting each other.

Juno's an interesting character, but she wrecked the power balance when she showed up.
@KoL It doesn't help that all the main characters just give one or two cryptic hints per battle while the playerbase attritions. If it weren't for Banana* and Lmpkio's* prolific rosters, we'd probably have more GM characters than player characters at this point.

*Thanks, btw, otherwise heaven would literally be just Omega, who hasn't been doing anything but pocket sand. :P
@Lucius Cypher GM's have since said "no, imagination does not actually do anything, despite the initial area description, but we'll let you continue to do your thing, cause inertia."
