The highest, most decisive experience is to be alone with one's own self. You must be alone to find out what supports you, when you find that you can not support yourself.

The core of an individual is the mystery of life, which dies when it is 'grasped'. That is also why symbols want to keep their secrets.

Bio

The Harbinger of Ferocity

Agent of the Wild, Aspect of the Ferine
Nature, red in tooth and claw.

"There is, indeed, no single quality of the cat that man could not emulate to his advantage."
- Carl Van Vechten

I am, at my core, a personification and manifestation of those things whose blood and hearts run red with the ferocity of the animal world. It is this which convicts and controls my works, my writing, my being; the force and guidance in which I gain wisdom from. It is what inspires me as a creator and weaver of words, the very thing I admire as an author.

My leanings, savage as they are, are of the feline sort as there exists no greater lineage of beasts whom can be drawn from. No others captivate and motivate my talent and skill as the greatest of cats do.

@Mahz, I do believe that given your story presented that you did indeed make the best out of the hand dealt; the fact you largely program and create your own material versus a carbon copy site with some input here and there shows a greater level of dedication and interest in all aspects.

It comes across as more professional and complete, even if it is comparatively behind. However, as constantly updated the site is, I do not exactly fear a scenario where no progress will be made - quite contrary, or so I am persuaded.
I changed a few things on Appearance and Psych profile, and also expanded the background; I didn't make any major changes.

No harm there at all. Thank you for the notification.
I've just been adjusting my character sheet a bit; I'll probably hold off on posting until somebody else does.

If you make any large, notable changes to your character just let me know. Since we've not established everyone's characters as concrete quite yet, there's a bit of room for these sort of adjustments for the moment.
I will have a post up tomorrow evening.
i don't appreciate you correcting me like that.

anyway, i wasn't saying they WERE bad. just things i've seen very frequently.

I apologize if you took my edit as malicious. In fact, I was just using your example as a template for mine in order to make a joke about the fact that there are always certain genres of roleplay - as well as topics - that are ever present.
to answer the question:

I've seen lots of magical adolescents, ninjas, demons, wolves, not-so-normal "everyday" lives, and topics I swear I've read ten or so times before.

Corrected.

Humor aside, I can admit that I note certain underlying, recurring tones in roleplay as a whole. Those listed are just a few; not to say that they are necessarily a negative thing, they're just very common.
Not as expected.

In the more positive light, to my fortune.

@Mahz, I know for sure I would absolutely use a "Search by User Posts in this Topic" function, that way I could see all of a single individual's posts in a single topic - that's building off the idea of "Search by My Posts in this Topic" as you said.

It would help consolidate an individual's character and history very easily for more rapid reference.

That's it, aside from perhaps a classic keyword search.
I almost had a post up last night and it got deleted. Tonight for sure, come hook or crook.

That sounds like a painful loss. It has happened to me a few times back before the site became much more stable.
I'll have a post up tonight, sorry for the delay.

Not to worry - things should begin to move more fluidly as we progress somewhere further with the story and characters.
