I cannot - for the life of me - manage to manually turn off my PS4 by pressing the button. My damn cat, however, manages to hit it every single she even bypasses the console.

My kids found an old Barbie TV from when I was a kid - you know, the kind that was huge and boxy with a tiny-ass screen - and my daughter said "No, mommy, TV's are flat." Another parenting fail.

My kids don't understand what a (computer) mouse is or how to use it. They keep poking and swiping at my monitor. I have failed as a parent.

Power:
Specific Durability; Nuke to the Face Resistance
Random Bro is able to withstand a nuclear explosion to his face. He will still get radiation sickness and eventually die. He can also be killed by anything else that kills a normal human being, such as getting stabbed, shot or poisoned.

Sooo OP xD
@Drake Baku
I didn't realize that you were asking whether or not you could play as Blade's son.

I don't think the matters of your writing capabilities can be ignored, to be honest. I realize this more and more the more you write; I have a very hard time understanding what you are trying to say. I understand the words just fine, but I cannot seem to figure out what you mean with the sentences you write. Even if you are better at writing IC posts (in which case I think you should try just as hard when you write OOC posts), I don't think I can just readily accept you, because I'm not sure I would be able to understand waht you write.

So, even though I hate doing this and really did want things to turn out better fro all parties involved, I think I have to reject you; not your characters, but you as a player.
I'm really sorry about this, but I think you'd have an easier and better time with someone that matches your own writing level better.

@XLegs
I was mostly asking out of curiousity and to make sure she couldn't withstand, like, nuclear explosions in her face with them.
She's accepted.
How would you guys feel about me making a medic type character? You certainly could use one right now.
@XLegs
I was wondering if you were gonna post anything or just lurk around ;)
Just ignore the accidental "like" to your post. I was on my phone and attempting to scroll.
I've got a question about her power though. How durable are the barriers? How much force would it/they be able to block?
@Drake Baku
Let me start by saying that I am really struggling to find the right words here and remain as objective as I possibly can.

I do fear that your writing capabilities may become an issue, mostly because I fear that what you write may not be perceived how you meant for it to be perceived.
Also, with the fact that you have a whole family of characters that you seem to plan to play, I'm afraid that you might accidentially self-interact too much for this type of RP.
You state that his wife will stay on HQ all the time, but most of the play will take place exactly there.

As for the actual character...
This power alone;
This ability allows Blade to control electrical devices by touching them directly with his skin, useful to control a electric powered machine even if he cant reach the controls or has any idea how to use it, he controls the machine just as if it is a part of his own body.

is very similar to what the Technopath, our Big Bad Boss Guy, does. I could explain, but it would reveal too much information.

He has "two" (since he technically has more, but I'll just keep it simple) powers that are both very powerful on their own and are of very different natures.

I just... I don't know what to tell you...
@Drake Baku
I didn't mean for that post to support the opinion that Drake and Blade could not be played in such an environment, regardless of whether or not my opinion is or is not the same, but to affirm Blue Demon's assessment of the situation.
@Drake Baku
Although that was not the result I wanted, I will respect your decision. I wish you luck in your current and future endeavors. Maybe our paths will cross again.

@The Mad Hatterwhy did you like that one post of mine with Blade's family?

It was an accident. I'm on my phone and I was attempting to scroll, but hit the "like" button.
I feel like this RP is not a fight based story. Your characters are something I'd expect to find in an Arena story. But here we're focused more on the daily struggles of the individual and how they plan to overcome to the Technopath. Not how powerful they are in a throw down.
Blue Demon

This is pretty much the feel I wanted.
@Drake Baku
I'm gonna be honest with you; I don't want to accept him.
You already have one extremely powerful (the most powerful) character that I am already a bit iffy about, but I allow out of the goodness of my heart. If I accepted this guy, too, you'd have the two most powerful characters in the game and I just don't want that. I can't give you any good explaination as to why, but it just rubs on me the wrong way.
You also have two characters who are able to "shut off their emotions", which is not only an extremely difficult thing to do and usually only happen with the help of some kind of psychosis, lots and lots of drugs or a serious alcohol intake, but also something that would make them into what we in daily speak would call "Super Soldiers".

I have to make opponents for the Resistance to face that can match the level of those they have to fight. Usually, I'd make the antagonists as strong as the strongest protagonist and if I were to do that, only your characters would stand a chance since they are far ahead from the others, power-wise.

If you were to fix him, I'd say the only way to do so IMO is to lose the "Kill Switch" to his emotions and the second power (Electrokinesis).

However, as I attempt to be a fair and just GM, I ask the other players their opinions.
This goes for any sheet, really. If any of you have an issue with anything (including my own characters, of course) don't hesitate to let me know. If you don't want the other players to know, you can stay anonymous by shooting me a PM instead and I'll take care of it.
@Shanks
Finally! Someone that Jacques might at least somewhat get along with! :)
Jeff is all good. He's accepted.

@Blue Demon
I thought that I mentioned it in the OP, but now realize that I forgot; They don't actually know where exactly the Technopath is. He's hiding, since he, himself, is not really a match for most other supers; without his "inventions" (in this case the Crusaders), he's very vulnerable. Since there are people around that could sneak past the Crusaders and straight into his "bedroom" and smother him in his sleep, he's smart enough to not take any chances.
I'll add to the OP that his actual whereabouts are unknown, but he is assumed to be inside the city.

@dreamingflowers
Nifty power she's got there. She might be the one that eventually discovers where the Technopath is actually hiding. If you listen really well, you'll be able to hear the gears turning in my mind xD
Just to be sure, but not that it would have any effect on whether or not she is accepted; Is she an actual, participating member of the Resistance, or does she just "help them out", in a similar fashion to Piper?
No matter what, she's accepted.
