Lusitania who had been waiting patiently holding onto Luna with both of her hands pushed her rock dog forward to grab the Pokedex with its mouth. It held it cutely in its jaws, Lusitania smiled at her helpful little rock dog. "Thank you so much for the Pokedex professor, I'll be sure to put it to good use." Lusitania said happily as she pulled her rock ruff back.
Then she felt the chill. Someone in the room was in annoyance at her actions. 'Sorry' she thought in response as she frowned, turning to face the boys stare that was drilling into her back. She was about to say 'what' but before she could even begin to speak, another boy had come over asking for his Pokedex. Then another. This entire time Lusitania just stood there observing the first boys slow descent into madness at everyone's actions.
She wasn't even surprised when the boy snapped, in fact, she responded quite well to it. "Sure. I'll be up for a battle." Her voice sounded happy but it had the dark undertone that signified she was going to deal some serious damage. Even Luna was looking determined at the challenge, The Rockruff was always up for a fight, in fact, she's quite adament for them.
"So where shall we start kid." She teased, insulting his short height. "After all I was here first so it only makes sense I get the first battle, no?" Luna grinned at hearing this. "So when you are ready. Let's go." Lusitania challenged, as she ruffled Luna's hair. She was completely ignoring everyone else but the boy with the Gible. whom had declared such a challenge. It was safe to say, Lusitania was very excited.

I have to agree. Huge Power is ridiculous on a regular Haxorus, much less a mega Haxorus. Huge Power is wild even on something like Azumarill with a choice band, which has base 50 attack and speed. Even with the choice band, it can't really compare to a base 140 attack stat. And with a typing as good as Dragon/Steel, neutralizing both a fairy and dragon weakness, it's pretty broken.
Use Dialga as a base, its only weakness's are ground and fighting and it completely resists poison.

Its base stat attack would be higher then mega mawiles by 80! this is before the stat bonus allocation.
Yea mega mawile, the pokemon whos mega has the highest attack in all of pokemon.
If 6 of its 100 bonus stats go in speed, it out speeds a massive majority of pokemon, For every point it allocates in attack due to huge power its essential doubles up. If it was to allocate all points into defense it would still be unfair.
you don't put huge power on a Pokemon with 97 speed AND 140 base attack, especially when all other huge power users are slow (like base stat speed 50) or have low attack (case and point azumarill which when it uses huge power goes up only to base stat 100)
Surely tough claws withs its +33% bonus to contact moves would be more fitting the huge power.

Lusitania had been sleeping just outside of town in her tent, Her hair was in a completely wild state over her eyes. She had just arrived here in the region of Chromis yesterday and already she was beginning to love the atmosphere of the place much more than Unova. It was so much more natural than what she was used to and she was loving it.
While she was busy packing up her tent a familiar park made her turn and smile. Luna had come with today's breakfast of a few Oran berries. "Well done Luna! Lusitania said the Pokemon responding with a bark of approval, as she took some to happily tuck in alongside her partner Pokemon. "Okay so today Luna, we register for the league challenge, If we can get into the hall of fame, maybe we can spread the message of protecting Pokemon from misuse or greed, I certainly wouldn't want anything to happen to you. Plus I bet the entire experience will be amazing as well, so it can't hurt to try." Luna responded with another bark of approval. "That's my girl." She said with a grin across her face. "Now let us pack up and go, Adventure awaits!" Lusitania cried as her Rockruff nuzzled its rocks against her wrist.
A few hours later
Lusitania had arrived late, her tardiness once again showing itself, she had missed most of the speech but managed to catch a few important tidbits of registration. Noticing a kid making their way toward the professor for a Pokedex, Lusitania let out a sly grin perhaps she really could queue cut. Lusitania leaned over the guy's shoulder her hair getting in his face as she interrupted that boy's conversation, "Hello Professor." She said with a grin on her face, her eyes darting down to the young boy who was only a little shorter than her and sweating as much as a grumpig, as her eyes turned back to the professor. ["May I receive one of those there Pokedex's as well."[/color] She said as Luna jumped up into her arms, making her let go of the boy and hold onto her rockruff.
I guess TMS would essential be Disks that you (break? / not break?) and that applying them to a pokemon that is legible teachs them the move.

Personality: Lusitania's personality can be described as wild. She is fiercely passionate in both her own work and her own Pokemon, to the point where she feels an insult to either of these things is a personal attack against her. That is not to say. she cannot take criticism however especially if said criticism is grounded in logic, she would use it to better herself as both a person and a trainer.
Lusitania loves to be outdoors, Exposure to the elements is her favorite thing even if those conditions are less than favorable, perhaps its just part of her nature or maybe it just stems from her wanting to get closer to the creatures that inspire her to draw, one would certainly be hard pressed to get her to stay in a hotel that's for sure!
Lastly, when it comes to Lusitania outlook towards battling, one could tell from a glance that the way she battles seems to be more instinctive and therefore more random than most. She is fierce and unrelenting in her attack and even her own Pokemon seem to know what she's planning as if by their own instincts, creating a powerful team dynamic. A bond likened to that of a wolf pack.
Biography:
Unova, a region known for its technology orientated designs. It is by far the most urbanized region, at least in Lusitania's eyes, far above ruralness in its appearance. The lack of wild place made her feel constrained but there was little she could do. Her father was an accomplished artisan in his own right, some of his paintings even made it in one of those also art museums in Kalos. She heard people from Kalos loved art, she also liked her father's art it was naturalistic in its tone and very similar to her own. Perhaps that's where she got it from.
Her mother is an accomplished actress in her own right, filling in supporting roles in many movies like Brycen-Man & Brycen-man Strikes back harder. That pair of jobs meant Lusitania certainly had a good early life, her parents got her a lot of gifts (as the high class do to keep their kids occupied), Yet she never became spoilt. Quite the opposite, she resented getting free gifts and even gave most of them away (she kept the pencils and paper as that was the only gift she could stand). Her early life was pretty uneventful except for her playing rough with many of the Pokemon she met outside. From small Lillipup to even Large Bouffalant (oh was that a fun way to scare the parents, just walking up to the large beast and ruffling its hair).
Once she was Ten she tried to get a Pokemon the regular way like everyone else, go to the professor and ask nicely but nooo, her parents enrolled her into the trainer school for a full educational tutelage, no not one of those step in get some information no. Her parents made her take an entire 6-year course, Of course she enjoyed parts of it, namely the fact that you was loaned Pokemon to use for battles, She had a Mightyena, and with that precious little Dark type her battle experience grew immensely. She also enjoyed Art and PE, but she ended up skipping all those theory lessons, racking up a lot of detentions in the process, she made a few friends at her, trainer school. Still Lusitania wanted a more natural world to explore.
Graduation day. The Day of her birthday sadly. She received a special gift from a teacher who used to live in Alola, The gift was a reward to the young girl. At first like with all gifts Lusitania was trying to give it away however with some pressuring she held onto that egg.
The gift of a Trainer License three long months later was met with the immediate packing of her bag. The leaving of a note for her parents. The stealing of her fathers art tent and making sure she had enough money to last her a long while. Her week old Rockruff making sure to leave the room as messy as possible before they left.
They were finally on the open road. Wind in hair, with not a goal to choose, though Lusitania had to choose one last thing, any region but Unova and through the process of a coinflip it was decided as if by fate, she would challenge the Chromium region, Which luckily appeared to have an abudance of nature. The Girl that runs with the wild was coming. Pencil in hand, Eyes sharp. Game on.

Not a GM or even a Co GM and this is probably wrong but pokemon origins method of gym battle seems to be the most reasonable system. The Gyms has stronger Pokemon sure. But their teams are calibrated to how many badges you have previously received
