Talan would have remained in the cover of the bushes had he not seen Anise lung towards Rhea. Seeing as he owed the pirate his life along with some answers he kept out of the darkness and threw his spear to land between her and Rhea. "Stop this, NOW!", he roared at the princess and her allies. Whether or not he was outnumbered it was of no concern to him. So far Rhea wass his best chance at getting the answers he wanted and a way out from here. The others would listen to what she had to say unless they wanted another forest fire on their hands. Soon after revealing himself the pull of the amulet became more apparent. He began to feel a sense of power, while he couldn't explain how or why Talan began to put forward his hand and suddenly the rocks scattered on the ground which they stood began to levitate. They shook slightly as they were raised from the earth. Talan knew what he could do with this power. "Unless you want these rocks to pierce your skull you will let her speak!", Talan was unfamiliar with magic. The clan elders would speak with the gods but never had he experienced something of this caliber. For a moment he thought of what more he could do with this but then a thought entered his head. When he first met her, Rhea had spoken about Kith and that Talan had been wearing their mask. "If what she said is true I shouldn't wear this mask long", with his free hand Talan took off his mask and grinned at Rhea before saying, "What happened to you? I lost you after we went over the falls"
