@Klomster Indeed. I believe some will be guarding the keep, some will be guarding the city and some (including Claus) may be guarding the meeting it'self. But given they are your soldiers you can decided where and what you want them to guard.
Also I think this would be a good time to establish in further detail about views on Gender and Sexual Orientation within Formaroth: As I said on the OOC gender is pretty much a non issue in Formaroth. No one is under any restrictions when is comes to gender despite it being a medieval setting. For example a woman would be free to join the army and become a soldier, though men are still more likely to be soldiers than women, seeing a female soldier wouldn't be considered to be an unusual or rare sight at all in Formaroth. Another example would be with such roles as a nursemaid; though more women would be more likely be nursemaids than men a man would not be prohibited or criticised for becoming one.
However this got me thinking about succession and family names: In Formaroth it is the eldest child who inherits titles and land regardless of gender. As for marriage and who takes up the family name: normally the family with the most power/authority takes however it is not necessarily the case. Whoever takes up the family name would very much be a matter of political interest; for example if a member of a powerful noble family were to take up the name of a lower noble family than the lower noble family would rise on the scale of importance.
As for sexual orientation: Homosexual marriage is allowed in Formaroth and among the lower and middle class is not an issue. However in the noble families it may cause problems; considering that noble families want to carry on the bloodline of their families having a eldest child who is homosexual may be considered to be a problem. Therefore many nobles will rather harshly force their son or daughter to marry someone of the opposite sex regardless of their child orientation. However many noble families go against this cruel and narrow minded practise and will allow their children to marry whomever they wish.
