Artemis smiled. "My parents are helping me trained to be a new pokemon master!" She says as Eeevee calls out in response. "This is Princess. Dont worry you wont be fighting her. She is a family pet." She said with a small laugh as Eevee licks her cheek softly. "If you want I can ask if they want to fight? But they would just get mad at me thinking I chickened out again." She said softly hoping it would help him give her a chance.

~*~Pokemon Trainers League~*~

Artemis walked into the champion stadium for her sign up. She skipped as she looked around to see what she would be up against. There were quite a few strong fighters around her age that have already arrived. "Eevee!"... Artemis looked over on her shoulder to Princess nuzzling her softly. "Don't worry Princess. We can handle this crowd." She said laughing softly as she looked down on the pokeballs on her belt. She only had six balls because Princess never goes into a ball. She was caught as a family pet and travels with Artemis just for the companionship.

She walks up to the booth to register her pokemon. Houndoom, Kirlia, Empoleon, Liepard,Roserade, and Raichu. Each ball was designed differently from her painting them while she traveled all over the world. She smiled at her team as she knew she would be a tough compeditor. Her parents raised her to be. The staff even asked if she wanted to contact her family's gym and she declined. She instead went up to her room to put away her bags. She than headed down to the VIP section to hear what was all the fuss.

Artemis blushed when she saw him walk in. He was actually...very cute. She smiled. "Welcome to the Water Gym!" She said as the door was pushed open. "I am going to be your gym challenger today. My name is Artemis. What is your name?" She asks smiling but trying to be serious. She was not very good at that. She was not the best pokemon trainer since she only had one pokemon. Eeve didn't even fight, she was her pet mainly.

Artemis was swimming in the pool with her squirtle. She had been forced to train all day long after she lost one fight. Her parents never wanted her to lose but she knew that it was impossible to never be beaten even once in life. She looked up when her parents told her to get out. A young boy her age was about to come into the gym. She got out drying off to great him at the front door.

Princess hopped over crawling up onto her shoulder. She sat nuzzling into Artemis's neck softly purring in a way. Artemis waited to see who was to come in. She could not believe her parents were making her fight for them.

She cares about her pokemon like they are her family. She cares about the friends she makes as well. She wants people to always have fun and enjoy each other. She is shy at first but her Eevee helps her become more social since people always ask about her.
Back Story:
Her family does not care about her. They gave her Eeevee and Squirtle and kicked her out. They wanted to make her grow up too fast to be a better adult. She was kicked out at 15 with nothing. Her parents don't call her either. When she calls them, they don't answer. She has been trying to make a life for herself and be the best trainer in the world.

James left his house at the earliest age he wanted simply so he could live freely, enjoying life with his favorite Scizor following him side-by-side, protecting him and he protecting his pokemon. James only ever wanted to go out and meet new people and capture/make friends with new pokemon. And to win several badges and more along the way!
