Look a Jeremiah post :O surprise im still alive.
Jeremiah

The fridge came open and Jeremiah poked his head into it. Nope, still empty just like yesterday. Well today was a grocery day that was for sure. Looking at the list on the refrigerator he frowned a bit. Monday was a ways off, and while he certainly had work tomorrow maybe he could find some time between now and then for him to see Nana. Then again she certainly worked an awful lot.

Opening the refrigerator again he sighed as there was still nothing worth eating for breakfast in the refrigerator. It looked like breakfast was going to have to be eaten out of the house today. When he’d driven into town the day before it appeared that there had been a Diner off the main drag. Something along the lines of The Queen’s Orchid. The name dug at the back of his mind like it meant something but he filed away for further questioning.

Retrieving his handgun from the small safe located on his nightstand he put on his gun belt and the Sheriff badge before he headed for the door. The house was rather small; it had a single master bedroom and a guest bedroom. The entry way let out into the dining room and kitchen on the left and one of the two bathrooms in the house on the right side as well as the door to the garage. Behind the kitchen was a living room which let out into the back yard via a sliding glass door. Across from the living room was a second hallway which lead to the master bedroom and guest room as well as the master bath.

Jeremiah paused as he unlocked the front door. Turning back he quickly crossed the dining room and snagged the list from the refrigerator. Opening the door to his garage he unlocked the white unmarked patrol car and climbed into it. Pausing he took stock of the fact that his shotgun and rifle were not in the gun locks. Both had been removed for cleaning and maintenance. The real question was if he thought he’d get into a gunfight between now and when he got home. We a shrug Jeremiah buckled up and put on his aviators before backing out of the garage.

Driving past the Reese home it looked like most of them were still home since cars were there and it looked like there was movement from inside. Could be a good thing or a bad thing; with a shrug Jeremiah kept driving. Time for breakfast.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Driving past the Orchid it looked like they weren’t quite open yet so he made a loop hunting for caffeination. Stopping at a promising looking place he parked and crossed the street. Stepping around a limo he quirked an eyebrow. It was waiting in a red zone. With an incredibly heavy sigh Jeremiah rapped on the passenger side window. Holding up his badge he didn’t bother waiting for the driver to roll down his window. “You’re in a red zone. Move. I’m going for coffee, if you’re still here when I get back I’m going to write you a ticket.”

Jesus this town was ridiculous. It was only the second day here and he’d already had to badge flash twice. Pushing open the door he cocked another eyebrow as he took in the people in the coffee shop standing on either side of the room as a man and woman stood at the counter. Jeremiah caught the end of the man’s order and it sounded ridiculous. The young woman didn’t appear terribly comfortable beneath the man’s arm. With a heavy sigh Jeremiah just took a step to the right and folded his arms. If there was another scene he’d intervene but it was really starting to irk him that this sort of thing seemed to be a regular occurrence in Millington.

@BlueAjah@Viciousmarrow
@Themerlinhawk Also @Anyone that got back to me:

Thanks for the reassurances. I understand that Levi has been a rather isolated character so far, but that shouldn't be as prominent from this point on. It's also early in the RP, and there is plenty of time yet for interaction. My primary concern was that the established characters were only foing to interact with other established characters, but I'm glad we're at least on the same page for working to ensure that it doesn't end up that way.

Incidentally, if anyone wants to bug Levi: he's fairly reputable as a grumpy recluse, but his work is highly regarded, so seeing him out and about is a rare occurrence. At the same time, Necro is basically unknown to the Tower at large, so the mysterious girl accompanying this curmudgeonly hermit may be a point of intrigue.

Sketchy recluse unite. I'm finishing the Lazarus blurb today and then he can wander over to say hi.
quick question are we still on the ship heading for the hills or are we already their?

We are moving the ship today

@Dead Cruiser Dont let my writing deceive you. My NPCs and Characters have all been members of the Tower for a while so when I write posts for two or three of them, its usually with the intention of some sort of exposition for them since occasionally I have things I want to bring to light or some part of a relationship I want to highlight. Up until this point Levi has sort of locked himself in the basement and Urthar did appear to check on him and Levi basically told him to fuck off. I'm not saying its not appropriate for the character since I thought it was hysterical and I loved the writing. But it does tend to lend itself to Levi being a little more isolated as a character. Give it a little more time, now that Levi is out of the basement with more opportunities to interact I'm sure you'll find it comes easier since typically at any given time I usually have at least one NPC or Character free. The point of which is to engage anyone not currently engaged should they wish it.
A Touch of Power

Lazarus, Megelis
Day 3 Morning

Tugging at the collar of his new suit Lazarus stepped into the gathering hall for the Wedding. It had come as a genuine surprise when five suits had shown up in his room from the Lady Akime. At first he’d been wary of the intentions before finally settling on it being a gesture of assistance. At first glance it had certainly seemed like she’d been making a comment on his capacity to dress himself. Then again he had been out of the world for a long time so it was probably for the best that she offer help. After pondering the selection he had finally settled on that was in the middle. Hardly tame but at the same time it didn’t come off as ostentatious.

The gathering of Knights was certainly a sight to behold. Although they largely gave him a wide berth both intentionally and unintentionally it was incredible to see the sheer variety in there dress. Military uniforms from every corner of Galendar. Styles that had gone out of fashion hundreds of years ago and styles that he had missed in the last century. Tugging at the collar second time Lazarus frowned. Akime probably wouldn’t be here since she was one of the bridesmaids. The reality was that he probably should have left with the first group of people who were doing set up but he’d been far too preoccupied with the offer of suits.

A familiar face appeared out of the crowd. Megelis looked over his shoulder as he approached Lazarus. “Hey, you and I were supposed to leave with the first group weren’t we?” Lazarus shrugged at the Master of Blade. “I honestly haven’t a clue. I just assumed I’d show up here and that there would be time before the actual ceremony.” Nodding the Master of Blade scanned the crowd almost as though he was on edge.

“Something bothering you?” Came the flat tone of Lazarus voice as he looked at Megelis who appeared to be searching for someone. Or avoiding them. “Uh. Yeah. Eve and Ralrisk are going to murder each other. And Ris is probably going to murder me to be frank. Eve forced herself on me since Ris is a Bridesmaid so her reasoning as that I didn’t have a plus one. So naturally she should be it.” Lazarus cocked a solitary eyebrow at Megelis. “Oh woah is you, the man who has so many women throwing themselves at him.

Megelis gave the ex Master of Sight a dirty look. “Yeah well I guess you wouldn’t know too much about that would you.” It was a joke and Megelis was more distracted by looking to make sure Eve hadn’t caught up with him. Lazarus remained oddly silent as Megelis looked at him again. “Wait...No way. Christian always said you never were interested in that sort of thing beyond casual sex…” Megelis looked at Lazarus suit before he raised an eyebrow at the Avatar of Yishreenok. “Huh. Who is she?”

Lazarus nodded towards a blonde making her way through the crowd. “You better sort out your own issues before you tackle mine”. Megelis rolled his eyes “Seriously these two chose me. And I don’t have the answer to what I want. I might not even be in love with either of them. I just don’t know or have the time. I’m the Master of Blade first and foremost.” Lazarus simply shook his head. “You’d do best to figure out what you are to those two. And soon.”

Megelis turned and narrowed his eyes. “Wait. No way.” Cackling Megelis started walking towards Eve. “Tell Lady Akime I said hello for me.”

Lazarus stiffened at the comment as the Master of Blade walked away.
*blinks* The fuck happened while I was away

Zachary
Day 3, Morning

Dangling his feet over the edge of the ship Zachary looked down at Angel’s Landing below him. As the pathologist sat on the edge of Blackwing a warm breeze blew by him as he kicked his feet back and forth in the air. A gnarled Daggerpine staff sat across Zachary’s legs as he contemplated the drop.

Lifting a death mask from its place on his hip Crow placed the over his face. With it in place Crow kicked himself free of Blackwing and fell. The arms of his robes billowed in the wind. The dark robe was open at the wrists so it could be pushed back up over his forearms if he needed his hands clear for fighting. The rest of the robe was loose fitting up secured so as not to interfere with Crow’s movements. The whole affair had been a gift from Ralrisk as she had guessed correctly that he wouldn’t go out of his way to find a suitable set of clothing for the wedding.

Crow’s satchel and skull were slung across his chest in their normal position. A belt full of pouches wrapped around his waist secreting away the tools of the Ghostwalker. Twisting away from the Tower as he fell Crow inhaled and closed his eyes. With a lurch Crow moved himself from the mortal realm to the realm of the dead shedding his mortal coil. Catching the edge of the ghostly version of the Tower Crow adjusted his fall; he hated crossing the Veil. Turning and looking to the right Crow could see the dots of power and the energy of the living welling up from the Tower. Two dark dots appeared in the Tower. One of them was a font of Dark energies that marked the Hand of Vulture. Crow shivered. Lazarus was someone he avoided regularly. The man was far too visceral to stand in proximity to. The other dot of dark power tugged at Crow’s soul as he brushed past the outside of the Tower.

Akime

Drawing lines down the underside of the eyes of his mask he peered into the mortal realm as he looked into the Tower. Akime was dangerous for him. Watching the dark fluid flow through her veins Crow shivered. Yishreenok could call in a marker for her at any time. Crow frowned at the faint silver trails that seemed to cling to her shadow. Magic from another realm perhaps?

Crow narrowed his eyes. It looked Fae. Then again she was a Fae Lady so perhaps it wasn't so unusual. Looking towards the horizon as he continued his fall Crow studied the shifting lines of the spirit world. Something was moving out there. Something that pulled at the flow of magic. Something that seemed to bend the strings of reality. The air whipped at his face as the ground fast approached. Pulling his mask up Crow shifted back into the mortal realm and loosened the holds of his form. In an explosion of black feathers and red eyes Crow beat his wings and blinked his many eyes as his form ascended back towards Blackwing. The Murder of Crows twisted upwards weaving back and forth over itself in a mass of caws and fluttering feathers.

With his jaunt to the spirit realm complete Crow crossed the deck towards the other honor guard members. It was about time to take Blackwing to the Hill of Flowers. A small smile crept across Crow’s face. It was about time Christian got married.
