Nova raised an eyebrow at this oddity. These people seemed to use terms from the oriental, a region of old Terra. However, those cultures had been destroyed in the Great Wars that had marked the end of Terra, and his first emergence. Perhaps in the universe they originated from, these cultures had somehow weathered the Great Wars? Or, even stranger still, the Great Wars had never come to pass. The possibilities were staggering. However, he chose not to mention it. He would discover these things in time, as he himself travelled the realms. He had more important things to discuss.

"I don't think there are any safety measures that could have prevented me from accessing it." Nova smiled, thinking for a moment of some of his more amusing exploits back in his home dimension. "Regardless, you can surely see the sense in sharing the capability to travel between worlds with more people. If multiple factions were able to exchange ideas and technology, it would greatly increase our capabilities overall, and allow us to drive back the darkness that seem to almost inevitably appear in every universe. Whilst those of malignant intent are rarely able to cooperate, those who fight for the common good share the same goals." He raised a hand, as if making a speech of sorts, wishing to impress upon her the importance of this information. "Ties between universes could form an impenetrable alliance, a great formation of different yet powerful armies, each of which would do their part against their combined evils. Sharing resources and knowledge would be for the benefit of all involved."

He had more to say, of course. However, he was cut off by the appearance of a strange power on this planet. Even here he could sense the echoes it made in the warp, and yet this power was clearly not of the Warp. Foreign and powerful, he reached out to read this strange being's mind. And yet he found himself locked out by it's mechanical nature. It was certainly a dangerous being, he could not imagine any machine wielding that much raw power. And yet, it was followed swiflty by the appearance of another figure on this world. An immense psionic presence, and yet he could feel it's mind linking thousands of lesser beings. An entire fleet had appeared over this world, releasing what appeared to be Drop Pods into the atmosphere. And yet these were not his loyal Space Marines, but mind-linked servants of this larger being, filled with nothing but subservience and suppressed rage.

It seemed a new enemy had made it's way to this world, and a grand one at that. He sighed, as he looked over at Midori. "Excuse me, it seems I have some business to attend to." He then stood up from his throne, energy seeming to gather around him like a cloak. He vanished, appearing on top of the palace, a massive man glowing with divine light. He gestured upwards, towards the battleships that had gathered like flies around this planet. He would show them his power, the true might of the God Emperor. The power that had fought the Chaos Gods for 10.000 years as his physical form had rotted away and his mind had decayed. The might that had crushed a billion neverborn worlds, and scoured entire solar systems of light. He would show them the power of humanity, reborn in him. All of it. All of the strength he had never been able to fully display, now so clearly at his fingertips.

And the results were terrifying.

The sky seemed to quake as the ships felt themselves being pushed and pulled by some invisible force. Alarms blared as the mind-linked servants of the Ethereals sought to perform emergency repairs. The fleet was thrown into disarray, ships strewn across the sky as if by the careless hand of a God. And then, as the Emperor's power reached it's peak, each stood suddenly still. With the might of a God, he crushed them. Ships kilometers long, filled with thousands of soldiers. Every single ship in the sky was crushed like a can of soda, imploding on itself as the interior was squeezed out through the now shattered windows. Technology that could resist the force of a nuclear impact with negligent ease, annihilated in a single instant.

The Emperor sighed. Even for him, this had been a tiring feat, and he was well aware that the greater threat had not been dealt with. The one they had all served was already on the planet's surface, as were many of his warriors. They were far from his current position, however, and he would deal with them once he had rested. Perhaps he would also have to deal with the mechanical monstrosity he had sensed before, but he could sense no animosity from that being. Once it displayed any form of malign intent, he would consider it his responsibility to intervene. Such was the duty of the God Emperor of Mankind. Forever bound to lead his sheep through the darkness, to shelter them from the horrors they could not understand.

Once more, the Emperor appeared in the throne room of the Imperial Palace. "Now, shall we continue? I believe I have made my case. Our cooperation could only better the multiverse." He sat down, as his mind began designing several suits of armour around him. Even as he spoke to Midori, matter rearranged itself to suit his will. He was forming the armour of the Thunder Warriors, or the Space Marines as they had later become known. Perhaps it was time for him to forge his soldiers on this world once more.
@Savato
That trailer was made of awesome ^_^

And I severely doubt he'll be able to consider him inferior, considering Nova has the psychic power required to crush entire planets, create armies of Daemon, and warp space-time itself.
@Savato
Damn, I really need to get my hands on Xcom 2 when it comes out.

Also, a meeting between the uber-ethereal and Nova (the God Emperor of Mankind) might be interesting, as both are quite powerful psychic beings.
@Kurai Assassin
Of course they are. These guys fight vampires for a living. These are the dudes who take down Second Stage Draculan Vampires when they show up, or lock up a rogue Werewolf. They're heavily armed and highly skilled soldiers, trained to function in an urban environment and take down opponents far stronger and faster than themselves.
@Kurai Assassin
I should probably write up SOLDIER, sorry.

In my mind, they're a special 'police' element armed with the knowledge and gear necessary to take down vamps. They're like the anti-vamp SWAT, and they keep the vampiric population of America in check.
Made some changes in the OP. Introduced Gabriellan vampires, in addition to some small edits on Draculan Vampires. I introduced the possibility of death through blood loss, meaning that a sufficiently large amount of dakka can actually take down a vamp. So even when your opponent doesn't have specific head-splosion weapons, you aren't immune. The second change I made is removing the distilled water thing, which didn't really make a lot of sense.

Furthermore, I could include silver as a weakness to werewolves. I don't think they're all that powerful at the moment, although in brute strength they outdo the other vampires. However, it might help get a more 'classic' feel if I do. I'm not sure on the topic, and as such I thought I'd get you guys' thoughts on it.

@Irisity
Your CS looks fine. She'll have a hard time fighting off characters like Fergus, but she can easily hold her own against human chars. Should work fine, and add some nice drama to the rp. Accepted.

Also, do you have any plans of fleshing out the corporation her family owns, or are you planning on leaving it vague? Either option is valid, but if you want I could make them a major plot element. Might be interesting, a kind of worker's rebellion against a company, but with vampires.
@supertinyking
For a moment, Valentus was stunned, as he saw a mutant returned to their human form in mere moments. It was a miracle, an impossibility, an act with no precedent. For just a single instant, the fact that he saw such an impossible feat performed before his very own eyes was enough to stun him. Just for a second, the blink of an eye.

Then he was back on track. After all, not even the God Emperor could truly save those that had been touched by the Warp. The body could be healed, the warp energies nullified. But the mark of the Ruinous Powers, implanted deep into the mind, could never be removed. They were but broken shadows of their former selves, their thoughts and minds shattered, crushed. They were more beast than human, twisted not simply physically, but in a far more profane manner. There was but one method for such beasts to attain any form of peace, of salvation. They could not be cleansed with kindness, nor with technology. They could be cleansed only with.... fire.

Flames sparked from Valentus' hands, as a massive white inferno flowed around him. White-hot beams of molten death shot out from him, waves of liquid fire rippling out from his every gesture. Stone was reduced to magma, steel molten down in instants, flesh and bone reduced to mere ashes and spread through the wind. Those beasts that fought their way through the relentless assault of pyrokinesis found themselves faced with the graceful dance of the Daemonhammer, it's circular swings perfectly timed and manoeuvred, each blow completely annihilating the target. A bastion of flaming death, he marched forward, the soldiers covering his flank as he annihilated every single drop of heresy he encountered.

Reaching the Xenos, he burned the purified along with the tainted, knowing that any sanity they might be lent was but a temporary refuge, a false shelter set up by the hands of deceit. He would normally have simply exterminated the xenos, but he had no time to do so. In desperate times even xenos formed allies of convenience, and these xenos had been wise enough to ally themselves to the superior human authorities. "Lay down your staves, and surrender yourselves. I know not whether you are agents of deceit, or mere victims of the deceiver, but I will sort you when my task is done. Should I sense even a single drop of power from you, I will not hesitate to cleanse you myself." His tone of voice made evident what his idea of 'cleansing' would entail.
Ah, I forgot to have the Emperor react to Asura's appearance. Sorry. I'll just put his reaction in my next post ^^

The Emperor raised an eyebrow, as he considered this. He considered for a moment burrowing into the girl's mind, extracting the information he needed by force. However, doing so might burn out her form. Furthermore, he had no intention of starting a war with whatever faction it was that this individual represented. Hence he was represented with a dilemma. He could not fulfil his dreams without the knowledge this girl possessed, and he was not willing to back down. However, a cursory glance of her psyche showed him that she was a stubborn individual, and he doubted he would be able to convince her to go against her orders. As such, he would simply have to appeal to authority.

Gesturing, the Emperor felt for the device in the girl's ear. Whatever machine she had used to communicate sprung from her ear as the Emperor psychically analysed it, using his prodigious mind to understand the technology behind it. The small machine broke apart into a thousand pieces, only to be perfectly put back together a mere moment later. "Very well then, I believe I will have to address this individual directly." Using his powers, he transmitted his words through the device, communicating with whatever force was at the other end of the proverbial call, addressing Akina's boss directly.

"Greetings. My name is Nova, previously known as the God Emperor of Mankind. And I believe you are the one who truly possesses the knowledge that I wish to garner, and that it is you who would withhold this knowledge from me. However, I would inform you of the possibilities of an alliance, or an informational exchange. After all, I can tell simply from the mind of your subordinate that your organisation is not an evil one, and there is nothing to be lost in the gathering of forces."

Unlike the others, Apocalypse did not appear on the ground, awakening as if from sleep. He did not stand up from the floor of some cozy home, or sitting on a park bench. He popped into this world high in the atmosphere, as if pulled here by the malevolent hand of some cruel deity. In reality, however, it had simply been cast out. Banished from it's world of birthing by it's very own creator, cast among the void without aim or purpose. Thus cast out, it was this world that pulled it in, a beacon to it's formlessness. And so it came to be that the abomination was brought to this world, this mimicry of Earth Prime. And so it came to be that he found himself plummeting downwards towards the city far below, screeching in victory as it could once more feel it's form manifest physically.

It was perhaps surprising to the Daemon Prince Timaeus when what appeared to be a comet shot past him, emitting a loud and deep roaring sound as it hurtled towards the ground. Explosively, the abomination struck the ground far below, the impact flattening a small area. Houses were blown to pieces, and a great cloud of dust was thrown upwards. Such was the explosive force of this impact that it could be seen even from the palace where the Enlightened had made their stronghold.
