Just a random guy, doing random things. Main RP: Hell's Coffee Lounge Current RPs change often enough that it's too much effort keeping a list of them updated.

Well, at the moment, none of the characters are aware of the terminals or where they are. Nor do they have any real motive to move out until food gets scarce, and several characters are able to pull in gear/supplies, or create them on the spot. So I don't think there's going to be much travelling until we're aware of them.

Maybe Midori could tell Nova about the terminals, and then the Emperor and his allies could go explore em?

As the belt of plasma grenades exploded, bright light and heat filled the area. The creature's arm was ripped apart by the combined explosive force of the grenades, the close-range force managing to overcome his incredibly tough hide. To some extent the Ethereal had expected it to flinch, or to halt it's assault. And yet it simply used the force of the explosion to pop up next to the next Muton, annihilating it's next target. It's vision was blurred, it's body was heavy. And yet it felt no pain, it felt no hesitation. While it did not feel the endless desire for destruction it's 'parent' had been driven by, it instead found itself lusting for ever greater levels of power, a path forged from the corpses of the fallen.

It struck once more, and once more the Ethereal blew the creature's arm off, a cluster of grenades leaving it a torso on legs. And yet, as the second grenade blew up, they left a burned stump. Whilst at first this seemed surprising, the ethereal quickly realized the cause. The abomination was adapting, it's entire body learning through experience. Even as it's skin become more heat resistant, it's mind seemed to become more resistant to psionic interference. The effects of mindfray had left it temporarily weakened, and through it's own persistence it had lost both of it's limbs. However, mindfray would soon begin to weaken, as would the effect of further heat-based weaponry. The more he was exposed to such violence without a decisive blow, the more powerful he would become.

Apocalypse laughed as the Ethereal mentioned it's existence meeting it's end. Already it's body had begun to reform, it's arms regrowing from the stump. "My existence is quite hard to snuff out. With every blow you strike, I become more powerful. With every life I take, I become more experienced. And yet you believe this Envisioning One will guide me? I need but know where my next victim stands!" The creature stands, taking a moment for it's body to rebuild. But it was clear that it would soon take the offensive once more. While Apocalypse was not without reason, it would take a clear display of force in order to persuade him he couldn't simply brute force his way through this situation. Of course, it would be rather hard to display the appropriate amount of force to impress a being such as Apocalypse.

Made the opening post. Not very extensive, but I'm sure you guys can come up with something.
((This story is set in Oklahoma. Because I think the name sounds funny. No other reason.))

The city of Oklahoma was seemingly quiet in the middle of the night. To the unaware observer, the streets were empty. However, Oklahoma had a quite active nightlife of vampires, beings who did not need sleep like humans did. Occasionally, a businessman or late-night party-goer would walk the streets, and usually they got home just fine. But it was a hunting night, and something was in the air. A kind of tension, suffusing the night sky, drawing out even those who would forego hunting. The feeling that something was about to happen, that this would be the next scene, that a new story would start here.

There was an unusually strong SOLDIER presence in the area. Tips had shown a known Stage Two Vampire, former Fergus O'Brian, seemed to be hiding out in the area. This vampire was responsible for a variety of murders, and SOLDIER had mobilized several squads to attempt to capture this superhuman threats. heavily armed and armoured, these people were equipped for battle. And their presence only added to the feeling of foreshadowing, of things yet to come.

How the story unfolds from here, depends on those involved.
@Kurai Assassin
I'll make the intro post now.
@Lmpkio
No wait, that reminds me! I know who Metatron is! Damn. I actually watch Supernatural, shoulda caught that one.
@Remipa Awesome
It's your choice. As I stated before, Draculan vampires are mutative. Many of them have unique abilities. So Fergus could easily be a Stage Two with slightly increased intelligence.

However, if he's on the verge of becoming a Stage Two then he's in a very unstable period. He'll either turn into a Stage Two or, if he manages to feed, revert to normal.
@Dreaming
Glad to see this didn't turn into a fight ^_^
@Dreaming
No idea who this metatron is, but you'd better be fairly buff if you wanna take on a Daemon Prince.

@ADamnFiddle
Really? You're going to bring in one of the most bullshit powers in all of fiction?
@Dreaming
In Switzerland, Doomsday is fighting the Uber Ethereal. Furthermore, a Quincy is tricking a super soldier, and both have caught the attention of a Daemon Prince. So cool shit is happening over there too.
