@Zanavy As it stands right now, there is something that I would like to do before we do a time skip. However, in order to do it, then @Ardent Dawn and @MiddleEarthRoze will need to finish and post the collab that they are currently working on.

If need be, however, I can do it as another flashback, though I am hopeful that that doesn't become a reoccurring thing :)

As she followed the girls through the hallway, Cyra bit her lip. The interior of Beacon was much like its exterior; lofty ceilings that all looked the same to her, and it was becoming increasingly apparent that the girls didn’t know where they were going either. Still, she was more afraid of getting lost herself, so she continued following them.

The girls themselves were a puzzle. The red-haired one seemed nice enough: her voice was pleasant to the ear and always seemed to have an upbeat, happy tone, and a smile didn’t seem to be far from her face. The blue-haired one, however, was… odd. She couldn’t quite put her finger on it, but there was a distinctly unnatural feel to her; a slight stiffness to the way that she moved, a flat invariance to her voice. Little things that might not have been noticed if one wasn’t paying close attention, but it was enough for Cyra being unwilling to approach the pair.

Unfortunately, it seemed that the world had other ideas. As she walked, her foot suddenly jerked to a stop, sending her toppling forward with a gasp and yelp. As if that wasn’t enough, her crash was followed by an even louder impact as her heavy case slammed to the ground beside her.

@Ardent Dawn The charging could possibly be argued, but at any rate the Smack Down would have sealed it.

The next question would be if Xerneas (formerly Tantalus) just gains the one level, or does his battle against Mihkail count seperately from the Alliance battle, thereby gaining a total of two levels once it's all over?

If it is the latter case, please excuse me for a moment.

@Zanavy so, if I understand this correctly, if I HADN'T had Mihkail use Smack Down, then that might not have qualified as a technical battle?

Additionally, since at this point almost everyone has seen her naked, I've updated Rebeca's CS with a full list of scars. Once this whole fiasco has blown over, I'll update it again with any new ones that she has collected.

Y'know, I kinda hate Tantalus/Xerneas. Sometimes I want to drop them into a giant blender. That would solve a lot of problems.

But he's also interesting and great for plot, so I guess I'll postpone that giant blender boss battle.

Oh, it will definitely happen. Along with a giant cheese grater, mortar, and pistle. The planet will be the mortar, and Rebeca will be the pistle.

@Thundercrash I'd prefer to post before you, since I'm offering some initial healing before things go silver and blurry.

And we've still got conversations to be had afterwards :)

Basically, nothing happened the way any of us had originally wanted. It remains to be seen if the results will be better or worse for the story.
