Since it's going to happen at some point, I figured I would clarify this ahead of time for everyone regarding Minako's power.
It takes at most a second for a connection to be made with a person, and she can't really control that part. She can only decide whether or not to use her power after the connection has already been made. As a result, she usually just doesn't look people in the eye when talking to them.
Additionally, people react differently to the sensation of that connection being made. How exactly it feels depends on the person being affected, and it's rare for two people to experience it the same way. Some people enjoy it, some people find it frightening, some people hate it. In other words, you can describe it however you like, as long as they feel something that indicates to them that a connection has been made with Minako. The only common denominator is that it is accompanied by a slight sense of vulnerability, like she just looked into your soul and peeked at your most closely guarded secrets.
