Bio

After a period of different distractions in both my work and private life I am back! Hoping to throw myself back into RP and to help create some wonderful and memorable tales.

I am a dedicated and reliable RPer with a fondness for sci-fi, character study, fantasy and intrigue. I generally go for RPs that are in the casual to advanced ranges and have no problem posting a paragraph or two. I am easy to write with and am not precious about making edits or changes to a post to accommodate others. I don't have a preference as far as writing for a particular gender/sexuality/morality goes but I generally find writing child characters quite difficult.

I do my best to be available to post at most times but work nights for extended shifts so have to work around that. I won't abandon a story though and am usually very punctual at replying to messages so feel free to get in touch!

@Natty I mean, ants doing the cleaning, even Thor thinks its unhygienic, people have to use those cups! :P
@Blue Demon
That's fair enough, everyone I've spoken to who's into Nightwing seems to cite the Teen Titans as a big source of that, I never really got into them so that might be why I need to ask the question haha. Also toss Star Trek all you like, love it. (& the X-Men too but that's a different story :P)

Also, Thor's a bit more chatty in this post. :D

Justice League Watchtower - United States - Midgard

Thor was bemused. He was not unused to unusual phenomena occurring in his vicinity; Asgard was a land of infinite possibility and Thor knew that anything from the crystal spires of Odin's keep to the mighty Rainbow Bridge that would connect his home to other realms beyond would likely number among the many things that mortals would not understand. He himself had been shown visions, trickery and magic that went beyond his own understanding. Even here on Midgard, he was vexed by the sight of his compatriot Ant-Man communing with his multiple namesakes and guiding them to tidy the kitchen surface. Using ants to clean when ants themselves are hardly unsoiled. It was a conundrum that even the habitually less than tidy Asgadian struggled to process.

However, when Captain America inquired as to whether he had already been present, that was enough to make the son of Odin turn in confusion.

"Is thy memory impaired, good Captain?" He asked in friendly concern, "Thou art advanced in years for one of thy kind, even the elderly of Asgard can lose their wits."

Thor thought back to when the Captain had sat among them not ten minutes ago. He had appeared in good spirits, as good spirited as the usually forthright Justice Leaguer ever was.

When the radio spoke unto the three teammates Thor's confusion cleared.

"A vile intruder, not less than ten feet away!" The son of Odin's voice boomed with anger, thunder gently sounding even in the enclosed space. "Nay I say, this will not stand!"

Thor pulled his hammer from his belt and pointed it at Ant-Man. "Marshall thy diminutive forces, friend Ant-Man. We must make haste to end this menace."

Thor then swung his hammer to point at the figure of Captain America at the door, Ant-Man's words had rang true, there had been no difference in the Captain that they had just seen and it was possible that their enemy might attempt to fool them once again.

"Beginning with thee, art thou the real Captain America or the very cause of this mischief?" Thor's tone brooked no question of his intentions should the Captain fail to prove himself.
Nightwing.

That's all.

Can someone explain to me the appeal of Nightwing? I get that he's a good character but I really don't get the legions of fans that have sprung up for him. Not putting him down at all but can someone tell me what makes him so amazing? :D
Sorry about the lack of activity today, I was all set to have a quiet weekend but got a call and have to go to London for the day tomorrow so will likely not post until the evening. I'm free tonight though haha.
@Blue Demon@Natty
Sorry I got viciously distracted by DD!
My response to this act of sheer duplicity...well, let's just put it this way...

soon revenge will be mine... One day soon...
Mhmm, ignorance is bliss
Or rather...

It takes only a small amount of magical energy, but if you summon something outwith your control, it will most certainly kill you. To summon a magical creature(be it a demon, spirit or other being of the Fae) you must know it's True Name. Speaking it three times is required to fully summon it. Calling demons is easy and relatively straightforward, and it doesn't always need to be for combat. Summoning a demon inside a circle and bargaining with it can net you a good deal, depending on the demon, and there are people who are willing to summon them for you to bargain with, for a price. Calling a demon, binding it, and forcing it to fight will annoy the thing to no end, and it will try to kill you if it gets the chance. Naturally, attempting to call a much more powerful being (like the Dread Wolf, Fen'Harel) probably won't work. Even if it does, you might hope it did fail =P

It doesn't concern you because you're a Dwarf ;)

Search your feelings, you know it to be true.

Vader is Luke's father.

That's not true...that's IMPOSSIBLE!!!
