@tipssyCalibrator Oops, my bad. I missed the part where channellers are secret. However, I HAVE A SOLUTION!
So FlowerShine, they're a band of channellers who are essentially Magneto's group. Channeller supremacy and all that jazz. Their goal was to take over, but in order to do that they needed more support. Thus, they turned to getting into the news to draw out other channellers, and to do that they'd cause a stir.
Now, enter Skyblue. He beats down a particular disturbance and the government sees an opportunity. They make a sentai outfit for Skyblue, cut a deal with news agencies to take all the footage, and they turn Skyblue and FlowerShine into a children's show. The damage to the city? Planned for the filming of the show. FlowerShine? Just TV bad guys and special effects, definitely not real. Skyblue? He's living the dream of any kid his age, playing a hero and saving the world!
FlowerShine eventually gave up, settling down into normal lives in society. Skyblue wasn't quite so lucky, as he'd lost a lot of his schooling in exchange for being a hero. He's a PR boost for the Institute presently because Super Sentai Skyblue! is a popular kids' show, and telling kids they can train with a hero they know makes it much easier to convince them to come to the Institute.
So does the government know that he's a channeller, or did they just not ask questions about how he beat them?
I did notice their similarities in terms of personality, but I agree that they're different enough to still be workable. I'm also considering the fact that despite being immature and odd, he's actually more likely than not a fairly cerebral character in terms of how he fights and approaches obstacles, and over time as he matures emotionally and learns to take things seriously, he'll probably be quite a bit different.
Also, I would recommend any of these Naruto OST tracks for his theme (last one is probably the best). Like I said, Naruto OST is maybe a little on the nose, but they do fit pretty well I think
I shall most likely have a CS posted later today if not early tomorrow, is that alright?
Just a question concerning the CS, are characters with memory loss (I can explain this in more detail by linking to an old character sheet I posted on this site) allowed?
Personality: Musashi has a very odd and excitable personality most of the time, as in addition to being an often hyperactive ball of energy he has the unusual quirk of insisting to everyone in the academy that he's really a ninja and was raised in a secret village of ninjas, even though that's far from accurate. Overall, he's an odd kid with an obsession with and love of ninjas, and cobbled together his outfit after being told he was going to the Institute to 'learn to unlock his true potential and become awesome'. Despite his often cheerful, carefree and sunshine-y attitude, during fights another side of him refined through his training comes out and he becomes much more focused with all of his usual energy and nonstop high-speed thought turning towards analyzing the situation at hand. He's very determined to become a strong fighter despite his small size, young age and numerous eccentricities, both to make his parents proud and because frankly, it sounds like a cool and fun goal to become the strongest fighter in the Institute and make friends doing it.
Backstory: Despite all claims to the contrary, Musashi is not actually a ninja, but instead the son of a pair of instructors at a modern day martial arts school specializing in koryu, traditional Japanese martial arts. As a result, he'd already been training for years to one day inherit the family business and become a martial arts instructor himself one day by the time his powers as an Augmenter manifested. Aside from the incredibly strict training reigmen he was put through daily, his parents allowed him to lead a fairly normal life most of the time, or at least as normal as anyone's life can be when they spend most of their day training with sharp implements and joint locks. The exception to this was an annual training excursion, where once a year they would go out into the wilderness and 'exploit traditional training and survival methods.
Musashi's power first manifested during one such trip, when he was briefly separated from his parents and accidentally ran into a bear. With his perception of the bear's movements massively enhanced, he was able to avoid the bear's attacks and defeat it without a scratch barehanded, to the relief and astonishment of his parents when they came upon the scene. Given such a shocking development it was only natural that his parents were thrilled if a little apprehensive when representatives of the Institute arrived claiming they could properly hone his talents. Musashi was even more thrilled and much less nervous, convinced that this meant he was going to be either a superhero or a real ninja, rather than just a martial artist. His insistence on the unusual outfit and enthusiastic enrollment at the academy were the dual results.
Equipment: one shorter sword and one longer one, occasionally wielded together, are his primary weapons when it comes to armed combat, although he also has a jitte, plus a number of shuriken that are meant more as a distraction than anything else, though his powers allow him to throw with superhuman accuracy.
Abilities: Despite his young age, Musashi is a surprisingly skilled martial artist in excellent physical condition for a child, with years of constant private training by two extremely skilled martial artists to draw on. He's skilled in both old-style jujitsu when it comes to unarmed combat and numerous classical styles of Japanese weaponry including the use of swords, spears, the jitte, the bow, and unusually and likely at his own insistence, shurikenjutsu. He also has incredible reflexes even without using his power and can keep up with his own enhanced sense of sight purely through training, although there are naturally still things that happen too quickly for him to relax. As a result of his training, he has a decent knowledge of human anatomy and biology, though focused through the lens of martial arts. At his mother's insistence, he's also learned to cook, though he's much less interested in cooking than fighting.
Channeller category: Augmenter
Description of power: Ultimate Iris-Musashi's only current power, he enhances his eyes in order to greatly speed up the amount of visual information he's capable of processing at one time, or from his perspective, is able to see things in slow motion and in great detail. Eventually this might expand into being able to see an opponent's pressure points, or seeing the structural weaknesses of objects in order to exploit them. It could also theoretically allow him to copy an opponent's physical movements to learn the physical components of their fighting styles, and have numerous indirect applications.
Names/descriptions of moves:
Shuriken Surprise!: Musashi uses his ability to precisely track the motion of his shuriken to deflect one with another, causing them to strike from unexpected angles.
Precision Paralyzer!: If he can learn to see pressure points and strike fast and precisely enough, Musashi might eventually be able to weaken or temporarily paralyze a person's limbs by striking their pressure points quickly enough.
Bushido Breaker!: Musashi would have to study a target for an extended period of time after developing his power to a high level, but might be able to find the weak-points in any object in order to shatter through it or cut it in a single strike.
Character theme song: I haven't found a themesong for him yet, but I'll definitely take suggestions!
Other: I'm not 100% sure on his power, and I'm definitely willing to explain or change things if needed, but it seemed more workable in the longterm than my other, sillier idea of 'but what if he was an Architect who summoned pandas that he fought alongside'
This character is really good, the only thing is that they resemble my character Akiko a little bit. I feel like there are enough differences so I'm still accepting him, I just felt I should probably point out the similarities
Also, disappointed that Bushido Breaker isn't named Bushido Blaster
Also also, I would recommend a Naruto OST song for his theme, though maybe that's too obvious XD
Name: Skyblue "Blue" Uchida
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Personality: As far as heroes go, Skyblue is most definitely not a paragon. If not for his super strength and his sentai-style helmet, he'd just be another bum on the streets. Skyblue is best described as rude, impatient, and impulsive, and has a tendency to get violent quickly. He has been unable to hold a dayjob longer than a month before becoming a mentor at the Institute. Skyblue is not without his good side, though, but it takes a bit of digging to find it.
Backstory: Skyblue first discovered his powers during an attack by the evil organization FlowerShine. He immediately put it to use laying the smackdown on their agents, instantly making himself the prime target of the organization. Skyblue, however, found himself mostly annoyed by the organization's attempts to subdue him in order to secure world domination.
The constant fighting hardened Skyblue, honing his control of his abilities through endless abuse. The world began to see him as a hero, stopping the evil organization's plans of world domination and preventing their destructive attacks from getting out of hand. Of course, most of the destruction was caused by Skyblue himself, but the papers were all too happy to leave that part out.
Finally, FlowerShine gave up its goal of world domination, leaving Skyblue without his free paycheck for protecting the world's governments. Skyblue took to living in his girlfriend's apartment like a bum. Occasionally, thugs hoping to make a name for themselves would challenge him to duels as he walked down the street, but overall his life became that of a boring, everyday loser with a bright blue face mask.
Appearance: Skyblue stands 5'8" tall, barely scraping 5'10" while wearing his white sneakers. He dresses simply, usually wearing a slightly wrinkled white t-shirt and plain blue jeans. His hair and face are always hidden beneath his blue sentai mask, the last remainder of what once was his superhero outfit - which he only wore for a month before changing to more comfortable attire. His body is slim and toned, as befits a sentai hero.
Equipment: A bright blue sentai mask equipped with a toxin filtration system. He never takes it off, not even to eat or smoke. It also has a long-range hearing enhancer and a (currently broken) telescopic vision tool.
Abilities: He can cook and clean apartments. He's also got a few skills that apply to day jobs he's held, but not kept.
Channeller category: Augmenter
Description of power: Skyblue's strength is greatly enhanced. Unbeknownst to him, it also reinforces his body to take the strain of his increased strength while in use.
Names/descriptions of moves: Skyblue never took the time to name his moves, as he normally just improvises to improve his strength while brawling. His one named ability, Fist of God, creates a shockwave around his fist that transfers the force of his punch to distant enemies.
As part of his agreement for his job at the Institute, he will make up names for all the moves he uses in front of students.
Why they were chosen for the Institute: Skyblue is an exceptional strength-focused Augmenter and, despite his personality quirks, having him on staff is a great PR boost for the Institute.
I do want to say that I really like this character a lot, but I do have a couple questions about his backstory and reputation. First, what exactly is FlowerShine? Are they just a regular corporation that happen to be trying to take over the world, or are they involved with channellers or something? Second, in reference to his reputation: were his fights with FlowerShine in public, or were they just in secret and other channellers happened to hear about his fights or something like that? If they were in public, channellers are supposed to be a secret from the regular world, so how did he hide his powers?
@Dragonsinc Read through it again, still looks fine
@Inmento Riku Well honestly, I would prefer descriptions over any images at all. But if you really want to use an image then yes, anime images are preferred
<Snipped quote by tipssyCalibrator> I'd say it's about the max height of his wall at that point, so...30 feet? With the density of General's Tent. It's basically that move with Arms and Legs to punch/kick with, which he can sculpt into like, giant blades, or a cannon arm to fire sphere barriers.
Personality: Chiaki is cheerful, direct, and confident young woman. She is not necessarily the most studious, always prone to taking naps and finding opportunities to lay around rather than study. That being said though, she is very witty and cunning. Chiaki can also be very caring and compassionate, willing to easily help a friend when in need with no personal gain in the end. She is known to be strong willed, not one to be “carried” by others for not being capable enough. It should also be noted that Chiaki can have a bit of a temper, often easily provoked and easy to fluster. She is not above breaking the rules either, never going out of her way to do so, but if the situation allows it why would she go out of her way to avoid the easiest solution?
Backstory: Chiaki had a relatively normal childhood growing up. She was always a little bruiser from a very young age, often taking interests in playing sports and roughhousing. She often joined many clubs growing up, though after a while the appeal would ware off and she would grow bored very easily. As she got older and began to discover her true potential, she became more and more mischievous, getting herself into all sorts of trouble. It was because of this that Chiaki’s parents felt it was best to send her to The Institute for Young Channellers so that she may better hone her skills to both allow her to gain the discipline she needed as well as put her around those who would understand her better.
Appearance:
Equipment: Metal marbles
Abilities: Acrobatic – Despite her brute and aggressive nature, Chiaki is actually a rather talented gymnast, which she uses in battle to maneuver around the area quickly and skillfully. Sports – Though Chiaki is a skilled fighter, she is a very athletic girl in general, often picking up sports rather quickly and being relatively good at the ones she takes interest in. Other than gymnastics, however, she does not participate in any other clubs or extracurricular activities. She is the key example of someone who has the skill, but not the drive.
Channeller category: Architect/Augmenter (Maybe?)
Description of power: Chiaki is a bludgeon type architect, her specialty being blunt objects both large and small. Her favorite weapon to create is a large war-hammer, though on occasion she will summon mallets, bats, or maces in the heat of the moment. She can also change the density and size of the small metal marbles she carries around with her. This may not seem like much, but with the right utilization, Chiaki can use them as one devastating force. Chiaki also seems to have a sort of enhanced strength compared to most girls, nowhere near the level of true augmenters, but enough to allow her to wave around her giant hammer with great control and skill. Whether this is due do channeling or merely through practice and training is unknown to her, though she never really concerned herself with it.
Names/descriptions of moves: .Home Run – Chiaki uses her metal marbles like baseballs, hitting them at target then changing them into, essentially, cannonballs. *More to come*
Character looks good, accepted
<Snipped quote by tipssyCalibrator>
I intended for General's Tent to be basically impenetrable, but the ordinary barriers he creates can certainly be broken through with a sufficient amount of power.
I'd say in terms of toughness, they're like...steel.
I wouldn't say the two are too much alike!....Hondo's not really an academic, or smart in anything save strategy.
I had looked for a non-messyhaired, non-glasses faceclaim, but finding good art of a non dopey-looking fat anime guy is tough....
Alright, that's fine then
Oh, one thing I meant to ask in the last post: what exactly is this mech like? As in its size, capabilities, etc
As for the personality, I'm alright with it this time but from now on, I think I'm going to put a limit on how many standoffish, angry, antisocial characters I'm going to accept since we already have 3 of them now :S
Name: Hondo Shigeki Age: 16 Gender: Male Personality: Hondo is a grouch through and through, typically avoiding social interaction with his fellow students, and being quite blunt in his speech. Easily annoyed, and quick to complain, Hondo has a list of pet-peeves a mile long, the very top of which is excessive noise and loud people. Second on that list is physical activity: Hondo is quite lazy, to the point that he often uses his own power to carry himself around instead of walking. If he had his way, he'd never leave his room. His grades are nothing impressive either, which gives him a reputation around the school as a fat, whiny oaf.
Where he shines, however, is his tactical brilliance and nerves of steel. Hondo has always had a quiet, burning interest in arts of strategy, which he showcases in battle. Even in the most tense, horrifying situations, he maintains a calm, focused attitude....with plenty of complaints thrown in, of course.
In spite of his constant, petty grumbles about the people around him, he does have a conscience, and detests the idea of all the irritating people in his life getting hurt. Beneath the sharp stare and grumpy exterior lies a self-conscious young man who's simply afraid of making friends.
Backstory: Hondo was born to a relatively lucrative and loving family, a middle child among ten brothers and sisters. The constant cacophony and chaos within the Shigeki household took its toll on the relatively introverted Hondo, who began to seclude himself more and more often into his room and his personal interests, in lieu of spending time with his family. This deteriorated his relationship with his siblings, who grew to dislike him for his frequent withdrawals, and began to bully him relentlessly throughout his youth, pushing him further inward. As he began school, the cycle of resentment and bitterness persisted among him and his peers: Making friends was difficult, and any friendships found were very quickly lost. Hondo's mental state deteriorated to the point that he simply wished to create an everlasting wall between himself and the rest of the world. An eternity of solitude, of peace and quiet. Perhaps it was through these thoughts that his channeller powers manifested the way they did when he was twelve. When the offer of the Institute came to him, he did not protest the thought of leaving his miserable old life behind to something more proactive and productive.
Now, at the academy, Hondo has no intention of seeing history repeat. Already, he has begun to build a wall around himself...
Appearance:
Equipment: A worn copy of "The Art of War", which he reads in school whenever there's a dull moment, as well as a notepad and pen, which he uses to take brief notes.
Abilities: Hondo is a very talented tactician and strategist, well-versed in the ever-shifting ways of the battlefield. His defensive channeller power suits him very well in this regard, as it enables him to safely analyze and formulate strategies in the heat of combat. Avoiding needless confrontation, using the terrain, exploiting weaknesses, manipulating and misdirecting the opponent....these are all pillars of warfare, and Hondo knows this well. This strategic knowledge also makes Hondo very good at board games. He has yet to be beaten in Go, Shogi, or Western-style Chess....though he has lost a game of Monopoly before.
Channeler Category: Alternative
Description of Power: Hondo has the ability to create transparent, impenetrable barriers of solid psychic energy, and telekinetically move them around at speeds of up to 40 km/h. The size and amount of barriers he can produce has a cap, symbolized by the size and area of a Wall he can erect in front of himself. In his current state, Hondo can only make use of a 100 square feet wall's worth of Barrier at a time, though with extensive training, he can bump that limit up to at least a 300 square feet wall. Through the practice and study he's had with the 4 years he's possessed this power, Hondo has learned how to bend and fold barriers he creates into basic shapes, such as domes and cylinders. With much more training, Hondo could potentially learn to mold the barriers into much more complex shapes, such as weapons, armor, or even a giant mech.
Names/Description of Moves:
Barrier: Basic move. Produces a barrier of varying size or shape. Barriers typically last only five seconds if Hondo is not directly focusing on maintaining it, which he can currently only do for one barrier at a time.
Barrier Shot: Telekinetically fires a created barrier towards the opponent.
Barrier Surf: Creates a flat, disc-shaped barrier underneath himself for him to stand or sit on and fly around with. His primary method of locomotion.
Barrier Sculpt (Basic): The ability to create and or alter existing barriers into a basic spherical or cylindrical shape.
Barrier Sculpt (Advanced): [NOT YET LEARNED] The ability to shape barriers into much more complex forms: Swords, Giant Shuriken, Suits of Armor, etc.
General's Tent: Creates a dome around himself, expending his remaining available barrier to make the dome as thick and sturdy as possible. Nothing penetrates this dome, not even sound or air. In this state of absolute peace and quiet, Hondo takes his time to analyze the situation and form a strategy. However, he cannot stay in the dome indefinitely, as within it he has a very limited supply of oxygen.
Barrier King: [NOT YET LEARNED] The pinnacle of his training. Hondo creates a gigantic, fully "armed" mech suit out of his usable Barrier, with him as the psychic pilot in the very center.
Hmmm...the character himself is fine, but I'm worried he might be a bit similar to Yuuta's character. I kinda get a similar vibe from them, y'know?
Also, what exactly are the limits to the barriers? Are they impenetrable, or can stuff break through them? Cause I feel like a 300 square foot barrier might be kinda difficult to get past
Sorry for taking so long to reply, the website seems to be having problems and it's making it difficult to post
Rip, guess my gunchitect is going to be put on hold for now. He was jokingly patriotic. I even named his power set The Second Amendment
Although I suppose it doesn't hurt to say the idea I had for his guns to balance them. Basically his guns fired bullet-sized energy beams that just provide concussive force when hit. Sorta like beanbag guns, but more painful and potentially damaging.
Eh, guess I'll have bear arms another day...
Sorry about that :/. Maybe you can think of a way to integrate him in some other way? Cause I really like the idea for that character, and he sounds like he'd fit very well in the RP. I'd really love to see a super, over the top American Bandit Keith/Terry Bogard type character
Personality: Ryuuto is smart, knows he’s smart, and wants everyone to know he’s smart. Because of this, he comes off as arrogant and condescending. However, he is not mean-spirited. He’ll criticize others for their reasoning, or more often, lack thereof, but doesn’t resort to personal insults. Ultimately, if you can prove him wrong, he’ll begrudgingly admit it rather than continue to argue.
Ryuuto would rather be your friend, but those who make an enemy out of him, or try to hurt him will have a very hard time getting back on his good side. He will help his friends when he can, but ultimately believes that people should take care of themselves. He won’t go out of his way to bully his enemies, but he does get even, and he is very patient in getting back at people. In conflict, Ryuuto is calm and tactical, preferring creative uses of his powers rather than overpowering his opponents.
Ryuuto has all the stereotypical nerd hobbies. Between getting straight A’s in all his classes, he’s reading, playing video games, or browsing the internet in a dimly lit and cluttered room.
Backstory: Ryuuto never saw much of his parents. They were both wealthy businessmen, traveling around the world for their companies and spending very little time at home. He knew more about his babysitters than he did about his parents. He learned to be independent when he was in elementary school. He did his own laundry, washed his own clothes, cleaned the house, and even ordered groceries online. His primary interactions with his parents were his report cards. They expected good grades. They hired tutors, that he saw more than them, and gave him all the resources he could possibly need to succeed in school. One of the few times he got to interact with his parents was when they came home to check up on his grades. He wanted more than anything to make these positive interactions, and so he forced himself to be a diligent student, getting perfect scores on everything.
Ryuuto discovered his powers when he was 12. As far as he was concerned, it was just another thing for him to excel at to impress his parents. Ryuuto’s parents weren’t particularly shocked to find out he was a Channeler. They almost seemed prepared to send him off to the Institute as soon as they all found out. This will be his third year at The Institute.
Appearance:
Equipment: A smart phone with mobile hotspot and unlimited data. A credit card with a $5,000 limit.
Abilities: Academics, studying, and research. Keeping a level head in a crisis. Tactics. Video Games, particularly rhythm games.
Channeller category: Architect.
Description of power:Threads of Fate – In short, Ryuuto can make strings. It has proved to be a difficult ability for a young person to master, as it requires an understanding of molecular structures and forces to produce a viable string. By learning more about chemistry and physics, Ryuuto can make strings of tougher, or more versatile substances as he needs. His two years in the academy have given him the ability to create strings of various metals, and also carbon fiber. The strings extend from his fingertips and can be attached to any surface they come in contact with, but once broken, they fall limp.
In addition to expanding his moveset, Ryuuto’s goals with his power involve making more subtle substances, like yarn or silk. Also, twining his strings into more complex structures, like a rope, is in the realm of possibility. His mentor has also brought up the medical possibilities of learning to stitch a severe wound on the spot.
Names/descriptions of moves:Tripwire – The most basic application of Ryuuto’s power. He attaches a string to two surfaces. His training thus far has allowed him to make them so thin as to be nearly invisible.
Reel In – Another basic move. Ryuuto can attach his string to an object and use his power to pull it towards him. Effective use of this technique requires clever manipulation of momentum.
Razor Wire – Ryuuto can make his strings razor-sharp. He can lash at his opponents with them like a whip, or can attach them to surfaces to set up a trap. Razor Wires require more time and concentration to generate than a standard Tripwire, and are more visible due to their more complex physical structure.
Cat’s Cradle – Much like the children’s game, Ryuuto interlaces his fingers, and then pulls them apart to make a web of string. This can act as a small shield to block against enemy attacks.
Garotte Grip – Ryuuto launches his strings at his enemy, and wraps it around their limbs, where he proceeds to constrict them. This technique requires precise control and concentration, he cannot make these strings as sharp as his razor wires, but he can make them sharp enough to break the skin.
Future Moves
Marionette – Ryuuto attaches strings to his body and another surface. He can reel himself in with a thought, allowing him to move faster than his body would normally allow in unnatural directions. This technique requires clever string placement and careful calculation.
Cocoon – By studying more complex string structures, Ryuuto can make a weave around himself, a body part, or an object. This technique’s applications are limited only by the creativity of the user.
Spider Silk – Ryuuto uses advanced chemical knowledge to recreate spider silk on a scale that can affect things the size of humans.
And perhaps more if these become exhausted…
Get oooutta the waaaay not-so-swirly glaaaasses, you're obscuring our view of the chaaaracter!

Name: Alexei Pavlov
Age: 44
Gender: Male
Personality: Alexei is a big man with an equally big personality. He is loud and prone to speaking in an exaggerated fashion, as if determined to make full use of his vocal range. He has a big heart and is a strong believer in a strong community. He believes the institute is not just a place of learning but a community in of itself, and he always goes out of his way to reinforce that idea with his students. In spite of his hard muscles, Alexei can be a bit of a soft teacher, and is reluctant to use overt discipline on anyone, preferring to believe in the power of positive reinforcement.
Backstory: Born in a tiny hamlet nestled in the Siberian Taiga, Alexei was always guaranteed to live a life of hard physical labour in his early years. Fortunately for him, he was always a big strong lad, and he took to manual tasks quite well. Even if he was a huge man himself, his community was always small, and everyone had to work together closely to keep things going. Alexei developed and iron clad belief in the power of the community during his time at home. As he matured, Alexei settled into the position of carpenter in the village, being more than physically capable as well as having developed an affinity for working with a hammer. Besides, a big strong man needed an equally big strong house, and he learned the hard way what happened when he sat on chairs that couldn’t support his mass.
It was after one long hard day of building work that Alexei discovered his powers. A freak bolt of lightning happened to strike a tree near the house he was building, causing it to fall onto the site and make the whole thing collapse. Alexei managed to hold up the collapsing mass, urging those working with him to escape the house. Those that escaped were at first expecting that Alexei would be trapped within the house, but much to the surprise of the whole village, Alexei managed to make his way out, keeping the place from collapsing on top of him the whole time. They all assumed it was a miracle at work, those in the know knew better. Not long after that event, people from the institute came to collect Alexei. Although he did not relish leaving his family and friends behind, his parents urged him to seize the opportunity, and thus he agreed to go.
Alexei quickly took to learning more about his abilities. His talent as an augmenter and his astonishing raw strength was exemplary during his time. At the end of his training, he was theoretically free to go back home, but although he would certainly visit the place often, he made up his mind that the institute was too big of an opportunity to make a difference to turn away from. He wanted to become a mentor there to train others as he had been, and to foster a greater community spirit among this channeller community he found himself a part of. With his talents and affinity for working with others, he was quickly made a mentor and became a fixture at the institute ever since.
Appearance:
Alexei stands at the vast height of 7 feet tall.
Equipment:
-Alexei’s primary weapon is his greathammer. As a large and unwieldy weapon, it serves as a testament to his strength that he can whip it around like a toy.
-For a ranged alternative, Alexei carries around a number of smaller hammers to use as throwing weapons.
Abilities: Alexei is strong and powerful even without his magic, capable of preforming feats at least on a par with a world class body builder. He’s also a very skilled carpenter; if you need a house built, you better believe he’ll make you a good one.
Channeller category: Augmenter
Description of power: Alexei’s one and only ability is one that allows him to strengthen his muscles in a way that gives him strength well beyond that which he already possesses. It not only allows him to overcome the sheer weight of his weapon and increase the force behind his strikes, but also allows him to move at a decent speed while fighting. His increased muscle power does not make his muscles any more resistant to damage, however, and they can still be damaged as easily as they usually might.
Names/descriptions of moves: -Herculean Swing: An augmented attack with Alexei’s hammer, with enough force behind it to crush through solid walls. -Earthshaker: An attack that sees Alexei slam his hammer into the ground with great force, fragmenting the immediate area and more than likely to cause those nearby to lose their footing. -Olympic Toss: Alexei tosses one of his throwing hammers, propelling it across large distances with his might.
Why they were chosen for the Institute: Alexei is effectively an augmenter specialist, as well as accustomed to working with others and trying to impart team spirit wherever he goes.
This character also seems perfectly fine. accepted
