Trying to get cs up tonight, struggle-bussing a little with history.
@Sloth Lol, well I appreciate the help regardless. Mary's gonna tell him
You know, just to make things easy, I'm changing her birthright from the dart that slew Baldur since like... he's not dead, I suppose.

Also @Avanhelsing you mentioned plot discussion? I'd be interested to know ideas, general plans, maybe previously knowing other chars, etc.

EDIT: @Sloth My understanding of the classical myth is that Baldur's death is one of the first omens of Ragnarok coming, not the legitimate first step. With that, I was under the general interpretation that Baldur was already dead in Norse myth, and Loki was already bound. This may be different in Scion's setting or I could legit just be wrong, but I've been writing this based on what I know/what I've read in the last 24 hours, and will change as necessary for the setting we're all in. I'll just post my CS soon for Avanhelsing and fix what needs to be fixed.
@Raijinslayer
Literally what I'm doing right now

Urge to be 'murican rising...

But realtalk, that works fine then. I'm rolling with guilt and doubt as themes anyway, so as long as it's not like "well, the Aesir literally commanded/encouraged Hitler to kill everyone who wasn't Aryan" I can work with it.

@Avanhelsing
...Welp, I was going to be making her a devout Jewish infantrywoman in Israel prior to her Visitation, where Hodr is sort of representative of the entire crisis of faith. This makes it both a better and worse option, because I'm just now looking at who the Aesir sided with in WWII. It's a great perspective to write from, but at the same time, y'know, holocaust.

@Raijinslayer I appreciate the input, btw. I do think that the assorted Aesir already here and your fantastic bitch queen are going to make this a fun one.
@Doktor Faust Well I really should have brought this up first thing, but I made assumptions that Norse myth had already happened. But Whitewolf's wiki says that Baldur is an option as a divine parent, which means that he isn't dead? I only ask because it REALLY matters if I'm making a daughter of Hodr.

So is the handsome god dead from accidental/on-purpose Loki induced fratricide, or no?

EDIT: I say this, but we also have a son of Loki, who was imprisoned in a cave with venom dripping in his eyes until Ragnarok after the same event. ...I'll roll with "Baldur died, but it's Scion" unless told otherwise.
Yeahhhh that's a lot of Aesir. I may have to change from Hodr, unless we're fine with a bit of common ground. Hodr is generally looked down upon in myth, anyhow, so he's not stepping on many large gods' toes, at least.

Assuming all this is kosher, I should get my sheet up in the next 24 hours.
@Doktor Faust
So with all of this, where and when are things taking place? Like... is there a particular time period we're working with on this? Are we starting in London, Hong Kong, Viking Era Scandinavia, the Caribbean?
I too, am in the business of throwing hats in.

Probably with a scion of one of the lesser Norse gods, not like... a Loki or a Thor.

I'm thinking Hodr.

(...and possibly the dart that killed Baldr as his birthright.)
