There's a panhandler who hangs out on the street corner by our dispensary every afternoon with a sign that just says "Green 4 Green?" and tbh, I respect my boy's confidence.

Bio

Personal Profile

Name: Taylor
Pronouns: They/them
Age: Mid 20s
Relationship: Married (happily, I might add)
Time Zone: Arizona (we hate daylight savings, so it's MST year-round)
Writing History: I've been on a number of different roleplaying websites for over a decade and a half
Hobbies: Writing, fitness, driving/exploring, hiking, camping, traveling, tabletop games, anything NEW (I love trying things I've never done before)
Roleplayer Profile

Format: 1x1s only. Maybe I'll try a group RP again someday, but I've never had one last longer than a few months
Posting Speed: Depending on my schedule, I can usually post at least once per week
Favorite Genres: Modern, Historical, Romance, Action/Adventure, Horror/Dark, Fantasy, Slice of Life, Dystopian, can be convinced to write some Sci-Fi
Hard 'no's: Fandoms. Sorry, but I can't maintain interest in characters/worlds I didn't build with my partner
Template: Public threads or PMs. I prefer to keep all my RPs in one place, so no emails or G-docs or the like
Rating: Comfortable with 18+ content, but it's not a necessity and I prefer not to center a plot around explicit scenes
Level: Advanced. Will consistently provide around 400-700 words per post, but can occasionally leap to 2000+
Character preference: One main character, but large side casts are greatly enjoyed. Because I write long posts, I prefer not to double
Gender preference: Male. You'll be hard pressed to convince me to play a female that isn't a background character. It's just not my forte
Romantic Relationships: MxF or MxM (currently prefer MxM)
Character Images: Faceclaims or detailed descriptions only. I envision the characters like real people in my mind, so I can't take anime seriously
OOC chat: Yes please! I'm a total extrovert who loves to get to know the amazing minds behind my partners' characters

@Dynamo Frokane Yep, I've checked out all of the pictures and most of the themes ^_^
I appreciate the advice though! :)
I finished my post ^_^
I figured I'd send Jun to Tiny Snowflake since there's only one other person there right now, haha
Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to come here after all, Jun thought tiredly, sitting at a table with his head in his hands as he watched the crowds of people dance to the music of Ryva Silverstone. Having just gotten back to Shine City after visiting with his parents, he had thought it would be refreshing to stop by his favorite hang-out spot: Club LUSH, but after mingling with the other club-goers for only two hours, he was already thoroughly exhausted. He shifted uncomfortably in his chair. Maybe I should have waited until tomorrow. Riding a bike for nearly three hundred miles definitely makes it harder to dance.

Jun’s green eyes roved across the bustling crowds of flailing limbs and swaying bodies. As tired as he was, he couldn’t help but look for someone to talk to. There were so many faces, so many people he didn’t know, so many opportunities to make some new friends or meet some cute girls. He couldn’t just sit here and wait for the night to end. Who says I have to dance to have fun at a club? He got up from his chair, wincing slightly—yep, bikes really were a literal pain in the ass—and wandering over to the edge of the room where some other people had escaped from the ruckus to chat amongst each other.

Just as Jun was about to approach one interesting little group, though, he heard Ryva’s voice ring out through the speakers. Curious to hear what the singer was saying to her raving fans, he glanced back at the stage in time to catch the last of her announcement before she went on to perform the next song: “And, if you’re lucky, you can find me at the Tiny Snowflake of in the park. But after this, it’s goodnight, for now. Love ya.”

Tiny Snowflake, huh? Jun mused. Now that he thought about it, he was pretty hungry after that road trip from his parents’ house. He looked back at the people milling about at the edge of the club. He was still tempted to join in their conversation, but in the end his empty stomach won the battle. Besides, he could always come back to Club LUSH next time. His stomach wanted food now.

Jun pulled out his cell phone from his pocket to do a quick search for the restaurant on Google Maps—having only lived in Shine City for two years, he hadn’t visited this particular one before—and then headed for the exit, only pausing for a moment to wave to the club bouncer, Arty, before he located his bike in the small parking lot and took off.

--

Luckily, Tiny Snowflake wasn’t ridiculously far from Club LUSH and Jun didn’t have much trouble finding the place. He parked his bike and started towards the front doors of the restaurant, feeling slightly out of place in his casual attire when he entered a fancy, formal-looking room. I probably should have Googled what kind of place this was first… he thought, stuffing his hands into his jean pockets as he looked over the traditional decorations on the walls. Oh well, at least the food smells good.
@Dynamo Frokane
Aha, yeah, I was planning to start Jun off at the club. My post should be done soon! ^_^
And oh, so we can make up our own places of occupation? Sounds like fun! I'll have to see what I can come up with for my character x3
lol eye candy for the win!

I was literally thinking the same thing xD
Why is he an NPC?? >w<
@Narcotic Dollie Thanks! Happy to be here ^_^

Also, I updated my CS and added theme music for Jun :3
@Dynamo Frokane Can do! ^_^
I only added Club LUSH in since I noticed that there's already one other musician, haha
I'm sure Mochavine could use more employees anyway since it's such a hot spot for the residents of Shine City ;)
Name: Junichi (Jun) Hirose

Age: 23

Appearance:

Height: 6’1”

Weight: 160lbs

Likes: Electronic Music, Singing, Dancing, Clubs, Flirting, Biking (on a motorcycle, of course), and taking on new challenges

Dislikes: Alcohol (he has no tolerance), Boredom, Laziness, and people who dislike music

Party Trick: Jun can improvise song lyrics, both serious and whimsical, on-the-spot for any sort of tune

Profession: Jun is mainly a freelance songwriter, specializing in Dubstep as well as Drum and Bass. He also works full-time as a Blackjack/Roulette Dealer at the Players Casino for a steady income between new songs

Personality: Jun is extremely extroverted to the point where he feels out-of-place whenever he isn’t around large crowds of people. His outgoing nature is helpful when he meets new people, but he is also known among friends for talking too much and being slightly nosy. Despite this, however, he is a person whom many people find hard to dislike because of his friendly character, welcoming smile, and quirky behavior.

Bio: Jun was born into a well-to-do family with more money than they know what to do with. His mother being the owner of a clothing company and his father being the co-founder of a thriving computer software corporation, he could have easily grown up to be a spoiled brat. However, his parents knew he would never succeed in the world if he was simply given everything for free, so when he was young they raised him to work humbly for the things he wanted and even enrolled him in school with the other “normal” kids, telling him not to boast about his family’s wealth to any of them otherwise he would be ostracized.

As he grew older, Jun eventually figured out that his parents just didn’t want him to make friends in school because of his social status, but even though he has moved out of his family’s mansion, he still keeps the knowledge to himself, going about his daily routines like anyone else and even renting out a small apartment when he could easily afford a large house in Shine City.

@MyCatGinger Thanks, Ging! ^_^
I'll start skimming YouTube for some electronic music that fits Jun's persona~

Since there are only three pages of posts so far, I think I'll go ahead and read all of those before I attempt to make my first post so I know where everybody's at xD
Oh, the struggle of jumping into an already-begun RP
Finished my CS ^_^
