Hey @everyone
White Wolf Returns: A Homecoming for World of Darkness
For over three decades, White Wolf has stood at the bleeding edge of supernatural and horror storytelling. From Vampire: The Masquerade to Werewolf: The Apocalypse and Mage: The Ascension, our games helped shape generations of roleplayers, writers, and dreamers who sought meaning in the shadows.
Today, we are proud to announce that World of Darkness will once again be guided under the name that birthed it: White Wolf.
This isnβt just a name change. Itβs a return to our rootsβand a commitment to the future. A future where mature horror stories are told with care. Where community and collaboration are central. Where fans, creators, and licensees can find clarity, support, and inspiration under a banner they trust.
Simultaneously, we are announcing today that White Wolf will now be a publisher, as well as a licensor, of World of Darkness games. This means that we will continue to work with our network of licensing partners who bring you all the great video games, tabletop roleplaying games, card games, and more -- but we will also develop some new games internally, and publish them.
The first game that we will publish as White Wolf is Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 as co-publisher with Paradox Interactive. We will announce additional games from White Wolf as the publisher later this year.
As White Wolf, we will: β’ Reinforce our legacy as pioneers of narrative-driven horror and emotional roleplay across all our products. β’ Provide clear leadership across all World of Darkness media and products. β’ Support creators with improved tools, transparency, and canon guidance. β’ Maintain rigorous standards for inclusivity, sensitivity, and collaboration in storytelling.
The night belongs to us all. Welcome home, Vamily.

Operator Name Richie Queens
Alias Richard
Age 29
Gender Male
Nationality American
Birth-date / Location Youngstown - Ohio, United States of America
Special Forces Group United States Air Force Remnants
Appearance Casual: Richie stands at six foot four, he appears to be of average build. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He wears a pair of khakis, usually shorts but on the occasion they are khaki colored pants with a black belt. For his shirt he wears and under armor work out shirt in black. He wears a pair of worn out white sneakers, albeit they lost their colors a long time ago.
For on duty along with the visually illustrated apparel would be a helmet on his head. His armor appears to be a medium rig.
Psych Profile The guy just can't stop talking, he's a motor mouth with a brain running at 100 miles per minutes. It's crazy but that's the life that's lived with Richie. Live fast, die young maybe but his reckless behavior is just a part of the act or facade he likes to play up. Being the social and dynamic one in serious situations seems to be his strength, perhaps it's to contribute to him being a class clown. While everyone has their own way of dealing with stress, Richie likes to laugh at inappropriate moments but in the face of danger, he has little time to talk.
The asshole, is how some describe Richie. He's inconsiderate of others and perhaps their feelings but that's how he acts in such a cruel and cold world. That's not to say he's a solo wolf, he's demonstrated leadership qualities and has worked well in teams despite the stress and tenure he may have caused by being in such a relationship. Selfish would best describe Richie as he is always looking for glory - more so he's looking for approval and praise.
While his friends are kept to minimal he's quite loyal to his friends - those that do side with him. While an air of paranoia may hang around him it's just a caution he's constantly used. You can always trust someone but anything closer than arm's length may get messy. He's a dedicated career professional, eccentric but goal & results orientated. There is always time for women on time off, but everyone holds their secrets and behind a persona is something more sinister - so they say. .
A small quaint town in the heart of Ohio, Richie grew up with his parents in co-op housing on the south side of town. Poverty seemed normal to Richie, so did the domestic he occasionally saw between his father and mother. It progressively got more violent, maybe she deserved it.. just fucking maybe. YTPD was a constant, aggressive presence always called and taking dad away. Eventually, dad never came back maybe he caught it in jail or just gave up.
Mom remarried - rich this time, to the local lawyer he looked similar to a greasy hot dog. Conflicted on who really was his dad, his step or biological dad Richie often took to the streets. Drugs, his friends, and some underage drinking. Picked up and charged after a fight gone wrong on Jarvis Ave, he was entered in a juvenile diversion program. While picking up his life was a challenge it wasn't impossible, counseling and community service changed him but he didn't like change.
After high school enlistment into the Ohio Air National Guard, Richie always liked planes but was never really the guy who'd fly them. He joined the security forces age nineteen. It would be serving with the weekend warriors where he'd find a calling to public service. Police shows were always cool, niche and after two years in the Guard he got into Youngstown PD as a part-time officer. His juvenile had the chief's lip twisted, but the department was facing a high turn over and if he was in the guard he was worth something. Richie generally shadowed senior officer Oscar Meaford for his career.
At twenty-two, Richie went to university in Miami, Ohio - his degree was Criminal Justice. After graduating he applied to the FBI and he didn't get in, maybe he was just too dumb. Being a Federal Agent was over-rated after all, they were all just pricks just like the shows and movies showed them to be. Richie went federal with the airforce, a bit of elbow grease and merit got him thrown around the country where he eventually ended up in California.
Richie went through Para-rescue school later on, that was his last official training with the USAF. That's when the outbreak started, things were okay in the first week at the airbase. Then people started to pour in, then the shooting started. The diseased, and the gangs eventually the base was overrun it was inevitable. The catalyst was a married couple, one turned and yea. It's the past now, leading a small squad Richie is based out in the rural outskirts of L.A. They help who they can, while still trying to scrape by.
