If I know anything from having not watched Invincible and only gleaning plot details through video essays, gifs, memes, and sporadic wiki-dives, it's that they certainly aren't invincible to emotional damage.
Always game for a crossover! Couple questions in regards to characters:

Are duos accepted for a single slot? Something like Jak & Daxter, Sherlock & Watson, Rick & Morty - a pair of characters most notably seen together like that?

When it comes to villains, how much leeway would we be given in our villainry? I have an idea for a villain character but his main shtick is largely turning ordinary people into little supervillains of their own and bossing them around, not that he doesn't / can't do stuff himself.

Sandswept Sky - Apex of the World

"Just do my best, huh?" Sound words of advice, but Raz wasn't entirely buying into it. His best was barely a drop in the ocean. There were people stronger, wiser, faster, and more useful than him in the group already. And some of them could fly, making any feats of acrobatics utterly pointless. So while things might work out in the end, Raz being involved might cause a few extra road bumps along the way.

Not that he was going to start getting lazy just because he's feeling sorry for himself.

On Mona's observation, Raz followed the other on-the-grounders that made their way over to the basin's statues, though he kept looking up at the flying leviathan. He was feeling like something was off too, so he decided to voice his concerns to the group. "I get that this is probably one of those Champions and that we have to deal with them to stop..." he glanced over to Therion, who still exhibited the murky palette and red eyes of someone under Galeem's influence, continuing with, "Uh, something from happening, not that I really know anything about it, ahah." Raz coughed. "My point is that it doesn't seem to really be doing anything, does it? Do we really have to resort to, you know... killing it?"

When they neared the statues, Raz split off to go examine one of the farther ones, specifically climbing up onto it to look at the chain it held. "Hey, these chains don't look like they're part of the statues!" Raz called to the rest. "You think they're holding something up?"

Sandswept Sky - Graveyard of the Peaks

This was rough going. No, that's putting it lightly.

This was impossible.

As the doomed trek up the final stretch of the mountain got under way Raz was beginning to realize, finally, just how dangerous this was. Despite how fantastical the locales have been and how many odd monsters they've encountered, he wasn't in a mental world. If he ended up succumbing to injury, the elements, or simply taking the wrong step, he wouldn't be shunted back to the real world and be able to try again. This was it.

That didn't fill Raz with much confidence. There wasn't a surge of renewed vigor now that he understood the peril, and his adrenaline didn't kick in - that was long gone by now. If anything the thought that he would most likely die on this mountain was the final straw.

Unlike the others, flying off into the blizzard with shouts and screams, Raz went slowly, quietly. His trudging through the show, so high that it buried his whole legs, eased to a crawl. The cold wore him down, hunching the boy further and further, until it all culminated in him laying right down without a sound. There wasn't much hope in Raz, not anymore, and he let his consciousness fade, shivering alone in the snow.

Only to then find himself safe, somewhere else from the endless blizzard. For a second he thought he was dead, much like Tora even though neither could see one another. He stood, opening his mouth to address the robed figures, only for them to vanish as soon as Raz laid eyes on them. A golden glow enveloped him, and before he knew it, he was rocketing into the skies! To anyone who may have seen him in their shared soaring through the storm clouds, the young psychic looked like he was hanging onto the tail of a comet for dear life, his Levitation ball pulling him like it had a mind of its own.

With no control over any of it, all Raz could do was scream - mostly in fear, partly in fun - as the gang were given their final push towards...

Sandswept Sky - Apex of the World

Bursting through the cloud layer, Raz's wild flight slowed considerably, almost as if he was just thrown into the air and was reaching the peak of the arc before the plummet back down. There wouldn't be any Raz pancakes on the menu, fortunately, as the mysterious gold boost let him carry himself by the weight of his levitation still, hovering slower than normal as he cruised towards the nearest stable surface. The view was impressive, but there had been just a bit too much that happened for Raz to appreciate it fully, right now. And while he was incredibly happy that everyone made it out okay, Raz grew a lot quieter and distant than he'd been during the climb.

Even if it ended up working out in the end, he couldn't shake the fact that he let himself fail. It wasn't the wind, the cold, the snow that had gotten him, really. He just gave up. That knowledge really weighed on Raz - had he even been helpful before? What was the point of hanging around if he was going to be such a load?

When the Champion revealed itself in all its unusual, gigantic glory, Raz pushed his goggles back up his head. The scale of the monster made his knees buckle, and he took a step back to stop himself from falling. There was no way he could do anything against that. "Uhh, hey, I think you guys got this one," Raz said, the first thing out of his mouth since they arrived. "I'm going to stay here with..." He glanced back at Redenton, "that guy, you know, keep him safe. Keep Scout company since, well, he needs the rest more than any of us, right? Hah..."

Vincent Cawler

Finally, a reprieve. With all the running around, monster semi-fighting, and dealing with those insane "Shadows", Vincent was running almost entirely on autopilot. It almost felt as if he'd been out of it for entire months, and that was certainly weird to get a handle on.

Staggering over to the hotel's breakfast bar, Vincent unceremoniously grabbed a handful of various meatstuffs and slapped them on a plate. He picked at the pile of sausage, ham, and bacon with a little plastic fork as he took one of the fancy cushioned seats for himself. This would be the only real food he's had today, so he was going to savor it. If 'savor' meant 'shovel more than you can chew into your mouth', that is.

Vincent didn't idly scarf, no no. He was paying close attention to the conversation everyone else had. Personas, Warlords, introductions... Vincent scoffed, though it came out more like a muffled cough through his mouthful of food. He could certainly think of one person who'd make a hell of a Warlord, and he wasn't planning to stick around this "Metaverse" to see him.

The baton pass of greetings eventually landed on him. Swallowing, he'd say, "Look, I'm not going to get buddy-buddy here. All of your weird stress crack stuff caught me by chance, I ain't involved in this 'save the world' business. Soon as I'm out of here you won't be seein' my again." He punctuated his point with a chomp of sausage.

Sandswept Sky - Inner Mountain > Graveyard of the Peaks

With the makeshift elevator ride up the vertical tunnel being uneventful, the adrenaline that fueled Raz's inner fire petered out, leaving him as cold as physically possible without dying. He shuddered at a near constant rate, folding his arms tight to try and conserve his body heat. In spite of all this, he still gave a chipper response to the group's discussions.

"T-t-to be honest, this is probably the muh-most fun I've had since I got here," he said through his clattering teeth. "Al Mamoon is certainly warmer, but s-s-s-super boring."

The mood turned south fast afterwards as the reality of the situation settled in and the group fell silent. Along with the cold, the self-doubt from before started to creep up Raz's spine again. He'd been trying to make himself useful on this mission only to end up feeling like he was just 'there'. Had he been helping? Sorta. It barely felt like it though, and with how tricky the climb had been so far and would probably get still, being sorta helpful might be more of a hinderance.

When they reached the chain's end that doubt only grew. The air was so frigid that Raz already felt like he was a walking popsicle, and the howling on the other side of those huge doors was not making him hopeful. Still, having made it this far it would be pretty dumb to turn back around. All that could be done was try to keep warm, as hard as it was. He tried to stay in the center of the group, hoping to conserve warmth like a group of penguins, but he didn't voice this thought out loud. Some of the people here were made out of metal, so getting too close ran the risk of freezing to them. Probably.

At the end of the bridge, Raz tried to stand his ground as the sudden rush of freezing wind bowled right into the group, only to tumble backwards in a full flip and land on his face in the snow. He picked himself up, brushed the snow off of him as fast as possible, and pulled his goggles down over his eyes.

It was time to get serious.

The graveyard leading up to the summit chilled Raz to the bone, more than the wind ever could. Hiking up a mountain sounded easy! The truth of it was staring right at him now. And the giant, ominous hand - this 'Master Hand' that Tora and Poppi must've been talking about before - was right. There wasn't any option except going forward for them.

"See, we really could've used a cannon right now." Trying to take his mind off of the growing anxiety, Raz trudged into the group members furthest ahead. "We need to come up with... with something," Raz shouted over the shrill whistling of the wind. "There's no way we can just walk up there like this! Can we tear off one of those doors, maybe? Use it as a big shield and push our way up? What about him?" Raz pointed to Mona. "You can turn into a car, right? Maybe you could drive ahead and shield us from the wind!"

They weren't great ideas. They might not even be good ones. The group needed to figure out a plan regardless of how it came about. Raz scanned the surroundings, seeing nothing but snow, rods, and the occasional unlucky climber, which he didn't linger of for long. At least his goggles were keeping his eyes clear. "Wait! These things are, uh, they're gravestones, right? Something like that? Someone had to have put them here... you think there's people in this part of the mountain?"

Sandswept Sky - Inner-Mountain - Back On the Ground

"Hey, it wasn't going to fail," Raz began, trying to save face from the frankly rude reception to being saved Therion had, if only burning wreckage from above and monsters below hadn't gotten in the way first. There was time to vindicate himself later when nobody was in danger of being eaten or crushed. The bright side, pun not intended, was that the double-wrecked ship illuminated the cave enough to fight whatever ghouls lurked in the dark. And it made the air a lot warmer! Oh, not to mention that it provided the perfect ammunition for someone lacking their usual fire-starting capabilities.

Seeing as how his two climbing companions focused their attention on the icy golem and saving Fox, Raz took a more supportive role, hanging behind the upfront fighters and pelting Kelvin with chunks of burning debris using his TK. He wasn't hurling recklessly, of course, aiming for the moments when he had clear shots and no one was too close to it. It was just like the knife-throwing act back home. It even had the same potentially disastrous results if he missed!

Any further help he could've given was cut short when Kelvin pulled off its last ditch effort, freezing most of the fighters as it went to split them all up. In his mad dash to pelt it with more makeshift fireballs Raz had ended up on the side of the ice wall opposite Kelvin, Therion, and Big Band. "Aw man," Raz sighed. There was some sort of irony there - the Wendigo engulfed in fire and Kelvin blocked off by his ice - but it was mostly lost on the boy who would've preferred to get a few licks in himself. But everyone else was holding up fine, at least. Maybe he didn't need to be the one giving the helping hand all the time.

He turned to the others with him and pointed to the burning wreckage. "We, uh, got the chain free, by the way."

Sandswept Sky - Inner-Mountain - Like Really High Off The Ground

ft. @Yankee

At nearly every turn, Raz was proven right for his insistence in wearing all his protective gear wherever he went. It wasn't weird, see! Though while his gloves helped protect his hands from scratches, rope burns, and the occasional weird slimy meat, and were stopping his skin from peeling off on the cold metal, they weren't very warm. The higher he got the more he shivered until he was practically shaking the whole chain. It still wasn't any trouble for him to leap off, bounce in mid-air, and land on the ship's mast, though that probably left Therion wobbling down below.

"Juh-juh-jeez, I really wish I could make some fire up here," Raz said, rubbing his arms for warmth. "Or even Lili. Sh-she was always good at that."

As if granting his wish (in spirit) the whole ship jolted downwards. Raz yelled, losing his balance and slipping right off the mast! His reflexes saved him from the fall, though, as he tucked his arms between his legs and grabbed hold of the mast. He swung for a moment as he caught his breath. "Oookay, I'll take having my blood rush through me. That works." The scare gave Raz the time to notice his followers, too. "Oh, here, lemme help you with that!" Once he pulled himself back onto the mast, Raz put two fingers to his temple and brought forth his telekinetic hand, big and glowing a faint orange, placing it roughly halfway between the chain and the mast. "Just use that as a springboard," he shouted to Therion.

After making sure his climbing partner was safe and steady, Raz turned his attention to the frozen chain. "I'll get started on knocking this loose. You can go see if there's anything inside the ship." He crouched low, grabbing the mast with one hand and holding the other near the side of his head. He focused on the ice that had frozen over the chain, and let loose a psychic blast right at it, tearing a chunk of the ice clean off. A pause of a few seconds long to let the psychic energy build back up then another shot, repeated like that a few times over to chip away at the block. Raz hesitated, though, when he noticed skeletons inside the ship beginning to throw themselves overboard, whether disturbed by one of the others or by the ship's sudden shift.

"Ok that's... weird," he said, watching a particularly glowy one plummet down. He turned to whoever was out there with him and said, "I'm going to go check on them, I think. You got the ice, right?"

Why Raz would think it was a good idea to go into the ship full of haunted skeletons was anyone's guess. Whatever justification, Raz sidled down the mast towards the bridge, and clambered inside the ship's hull. Inside the skeletons seemed less agitated, or maybe less alive, so Raz took the opportunity to poke around the ruins, looking for anything useful. Some furs? Ships carried furs in them, right? One of those old-fashioned tinderboxes to light. Anything of interest, really.

In his poking and prodding, Raz found a handful of mysterious skulls scattered about the "bottom" of the hull. He picked one up, turning it over in his hands... only for its headless owner to jerk out of the crevice beside him! "Yaaugh!" Raz shouted, stumbling backwards, tripping over more skulls and riling up more undead pirates.

"H-hang on, wait, I wasn't trying to disturb your rest or anything," Raz said, holding up his hands - one still holding onto a skull - as a sign of peace. "I was barely plundering, honest! I wouldn't dream of taking your hard-earned... uh... whatever it is you guys have in here."

Judging by the ghostly rattling and the fact they kept coming at him, it seemed like the pirates weren't in the mood to talk. Duck under their grasping arms and rushing between their legs, Raz booked it back out of the hull and onto the ship's mast. Once a good distance down (up? away?), he looked back to see the skeletons all trying to get after him, only to fall straight down. "Uhh, sorry! Hope there's an after-afterlife!" As he turned to head back to the others, Raz realized that he was still holding one of their skulls. "Oh. Huh." He glanced downwards. "Naaah, probably a bit too mean to toss you overboard too." He stashed it into his satchel as he made his way along the mast once more. "I'm not sure if it'll mean much but I'll see if I can find a nice, warm beach to put you in."

When he reached Therion and Midna, he said, "Those skeletons weren't very fun. Did you guys get the--"

Raz's question was both left unfinished and answered when the unstuck chain rushed upwards and pulled its pincers with it, cracking the mast they were standing on in two. Raz screamed - who wouldn't? - as he plummeted down to the same floor all those skeletons dusted themselves on.

"Hang on, I got this!" Tumbling in the air, Raz grabbed the back of Therion's scarf. He wasn't sure if he had a way of stopping his fall, but it was better safe than sorry when you're free-falling to a hard icy grave. It didn't seem like he 'got this' though as the two were still falling, closer and closer to their demise. Only for at the last moment, roughly ten feet to the bottom, a bubble formed above Raz with the sound of a popping cork, stopping their fall and turning it into a gentle descent. The whiplash might not've been great for Therion but it was better than splatting.

Luckily too, the bubble gave off enough light to surround them, protecting them from the monsters that preferred their darkness. Once Therion's feet touched the floor Raz yanked his bubble downwards and balanced on it, keeping it manifested and glowing.

"Wait, what's going on down here?" Raz asked out loud, looking around at all the fire and light and action-ready combatants. "Some sorta monster attack?"

Sandswept Sky - Inner-Mountain

If the gentle correcting from his teammates wasn't enough to convince Raz, the huge ice giant starting to move definitely shut him up. Even though he wasn't in the danger zone of the titan's exhale, Raz crouched down, putting his hands to the ice bridge to steady himself. Seeing the others in front of him threatening to be blown off, he thrust out his big orange TK hand, hovering it at the edge as a way to right anyone that got off balance. When the wind cleared Raz stood up again and continued on behind everyone else, much less talkative until they were out of the woods.

On the other side, in the next cavern, he let out a breath he'd been holding since then. "That was, that was close, huh?" Brushing past his possibly involvement in the titan's near awakening, Raz hurried ahead, doing a little fast-walk deeper into the catacombs.

Pros: solid ground, no huge heads that could blow then down in a single sigh, and a touch less cold. Cons: everything else. They were attacked by monsters, some seeming to come right out of the walls, and the corridors were cramped enough to make it difficult to fight back. Luckily Raz's smallness helped him to weave between the legs of his taller, well-proportioned allies in the heat of a scuffle. The icy javelin throwers would've been an issue, but Raz could pluck the spears out from the walls they embedded into (or, with a bit of luck, right out of the air) and fling them right back with his Telekinesis, smashing the ice golems to pieces.

When the group split up, Raz decided to tag behind Tora and Poppi, and got a front row seat to the Nopon's greedy tendencies. "I'm not sure about this," Raz thought aloud, looking into a pot that had a few handfuls of coins sparkling at the bottom. "This looks like some kind've tomb, so all this treasure probably belongs to the people in here, right? It doesn't feel right to steal from them. Even if a few come back to life and try to kill us."

On the other side of the maze of corpses and cobblestone, they all filed into another big ice cavern. Raz shivered. "I'm gonna be honest, I hate being surrounded by ice all the time," he said, folding his hands under his armpits for warmth. Despite the chill, the chamber was another stunning sight. If Raz didn't know better he'd assume he walked right into the ice giant's head, with the way the various ships were frozen to the walls far, far above them. He still wished he had his Pyro back. It was really, really cold.

"I can get up there!" Jumping at the chance to get his blood pumping, Raz was the first to make way for the chain. He scrambled up a section of scaffolding broken in a way that resembled a ladder, balanced along one of the wooden beams to the center of the chamber, and hopped onto the giant pincers. "I'll get this thing unstuck, don't worry about me." He started climbing the chain, up and up and up at a pretty decent pace. Probably not faster than anyone who could just fly up there, but you had to admire his gusto.

Sandswept Sky - Split Mountain, High Hrothgar (et al)

Climbing this mountain was nothing to sneeze at, unless you caught a cold during it, which was very likely with how chillier and damper things got further up. But compared to the literal mind-bending feats of jumping, swinging, and scaling he's done in the past, it was no issue for Raz. He was uncharacteristically quiet during this stretch of the climb, outside of helping others whenever they needed a boost up. Was he mentally preparing himself for the upcoming fight? Contemplating the nature of the world they were in? Having a song stuck in his head on loop? Who could say, really.

The break at the big iron door helped to reorient him to the task at hand. Being too distracted was a bad idea when things were about to get dangerous. "You can count on me, Mr. Band," Raz said with a small salute. "No way I'd abandon mid-mission!"

The giant ice-wall man made him second guess that statement just a teensy bit. "Woooow. That's... really big." With that helpful observation given, Raz took up the rear of the group down the narrow bridge, taking to it like a horse took to water. Or, no, wait, like a fish took to... horses? Ok, maybe the cold was getting to him.

"Psst." Raz shot a whisper up the group, trying not to be too loud, but also wanting to actually be heard. A pretty harrowing balancing act, much like the actual one they were doing. "Are we sure this isn't that champion guy we're supposed to deal with? Because he looks kinda dealt with already. Is he even still alive?"
