Oh, ummmm... Sorry, I literally just saw your message after I finished editing it >.<

You want me to change it back?

EDIT: As for boat-steering, I managed to pick up the basics in about a day, so I figured it wouldn't pose a huge challenge to the average person.
Hmmm. My bad. I was mislead by an article about satellite hacking and how it's "easier than people think". Turns out they just meant evesdropping on transmissioms xP

Tbf to me tho I mentioned the hacking in his bio. It was also mentioned in the part explaining where he got the $50k listed in his equipment section. I'll get rid of the satellite bit and just say he bought a larger antenna to boost his signal, but the hacking and mechanical stuff is part of his skillset, as established in his bio.

"Well, time is something we have the luxury of having a lot of on the first day. No one even knows we exist, much less where we are or how to find us. So, you know... take it easy," he said, smiling at Tamamo, trying to urge her not to push herself too much.

His Caster wasn't normal. He knew that already. It wasn't a surprise that she was having trouble making a Workshop. From what she'd told him and the information he could glean from his insight as a Master, he'd just have to trust she'd excel in other areas. Besides, she had the skills they needed where it counted the most.

Starting the boat, Wes less than expertly nudged the yacht out into the harbor, stopping and starting so much the boat seemed to jerk and buck like a bull.

"Remind... me..." he grunted. "To look... up... a guide for this... later... on... the... internet..."

Finally grasping the concept of differential steering, Wes transitioned to a comfortable cruise speed and sailed the boat out to a few hundred feet away from the shore.

He sighed with relief.

"Okay, now I feel better. We have some time and privacy to plan and prepare away from everyone else. Let's just drop anchor here for now..."

There was a clunking noise as the boat released its anchor. Waiting for the tiny "thud" so he'd know they were rooted, Wes pulled the rat out of his pocket and retreated into the cabin.

Placing the rodent on the table, he went to retrieve some of his chilled animal blood and a fine paintbrush. He'd need to spend the next few hours layering this thing in magecraft, so a formalcraft circle was needed here.

A few minutes passed and Wes had drawn his circle and started pouring his prana into it, activating the circle and making it glow as it bathed the rat in magical emanations.

Wes sighed with relief. Now that that slightly challenging task was over, he could focus on something easy and enjoyable: setting up a wifi hotspot, configuring all his wireless devices, and attempting to hack into stray communications satellites. If he could hijack the signal strength of an obsolete satellite and piggyback off it, he could boost the signal strength and the operational range of his drones almost indefinitely.

If that is actually Edison that would be glorious.

It is Edison.

"Well for now," Wes said, "we have the exciting work of unpacking and assembling... pretty much everything. All the electronics I bought need to be configured to my laptop, we have spell tags and other neat little weapons to make, and the rat needs occasional tending to for the next four to five hours, at which point I will be ready to release him and start making more rats. And maybe birds. Basically... we're gonna be cooped in the cabin for the rest of the day."

Wes thought for a moment on how to make this task seem slightly less depressing.

"We should be able to finish in time for sunset, though, and once we've completed all our preparations, we won't really have much to do for the rest of the war besides making a few trips to the city now and again. I was thinking maybe... we could fish?" he added hopefully. "Go swimming maybe? It'll be like a vacation. Now, how do I get you started..."

Wes fiddled with the boat's controls. He'd never driven one before but it couldn't be that hard, could it?

Berserker

Berserker's cowlicky "ears" appeared to flare briefly as she took note of a magus, most likely hostile, trying to shut down her magic circuits and leave the vicinity before being noticed. She wasn't a Master though, so Berserker let it go. It was, frankly, none of her business.

"Give me your finest spirits, whelp," she said to the bartender. "I wish to sample the luxuries of this land."
So I went to go see Batman V Superman last night at 10:30, hence why I haven't posted in a while and am tired as shit. Movie was pretty good, but if I don't post within the next few hours, please don't move on without me. I probably just fell asleep at my keyboard and started taking a power nap.
I didn't really have any objections anyway, but only because I have the loosest possible grasp on the Copenhagen situation right now. Berserker's kinda just along for the ride :P

Ohh!? She's quite welcome at anytime. It's not like I wouldn't enjoy some yuri being randomly tossed into this, 'cause obviously all girls on Typemoon aren't lesbians in the closet.

But then again, what am I rambling about... just forget that I said anything.

HISSSSSSS! Get out of here, homewrecker >:(

No. Sorry, I can no longer work with you. This relationship is over! Tamamo is going Seryun's way cause she can't abide you! *Runs off screaming bloody murder*
