Current Boy, you're like a pizza cutter: all edge and no point.

I think I should write a pithy roleplay about how an expenditure of effort does not entitle you to your perception of an equivalent reward. Anyone know someone who'd be interested?

Okay, let's be honest for a second here, if we stop the status bar from being edgy angst land it really doesn't have anything going for it except sheer autism.

Does anyone know where you can get a white trilby embroidered with threatening messages? Asking for a friend.

Hank, bb, I only have bio formats suitable for Naruto threads that are sufficiently aesthetically pleasing.

Give me a bio format pls.
Consider this a confirmation of interest. Or don't. It's up to you.

The flying doesn't 'dick me over' it screws over every melee focused character in this tournament, which is about half the other players. I'm complaining on their behalf.

The limitation on death orbs is hardly a limitation, one is more than enough.

You used the awfully shitty combat tactic of instantly reacting to a stealthy attack, where-as I made a slight (and unintentional) error by not stating exactly how far my character shuffled backwards, which is an easy mistake to make.

That limitation makes no sense, the mass of a bullet is irrelevant in regards to the fact that by Innue's ruling it still maintains the energy and pressure of a bullet fired at full speed. Your shield is able to immediately negate that force apparently. Also, speaking of poorly described actions, you didn't even say what masses are effected, are you saying the shield literally only stops bullets? That's clear bullshit then and obviously just tacked on to hard counter gun fighters considering bullets shouldn't even exist in your universe from a cursory look of your character's history.

I don't really care what you think about my conduct, I think more than enough of the same about you.

Ok.
I have desperately tried to avoid getting into any of the mindless bitching that Melon has been doing, but I feel the need to clarify a few things:

Touho has yet to fly in this fight. Melon's constant assertions that the flying completely dicks him over is huge metagaming on his behalf (something I have personally tried to avoid) because the most I have done is floated a foot or so off of the ground (and sure, you could even post that your character logically inferred such a thing is possible, but there are no such comments on Jok's behalf).

I can create two "death orbs" every five minutes. They do not require a lot of preparation, this is correct, but they are quite severely nerfed at close range and they are absolutely not the speed of a bullet (or the max speed of 250 feet per second). It is more like a slightly slower baseball being thrown. I don't know how you possibly got that it was that fast.

You have used an - if not outright wrong - awfully shitty combat tactic in the form of ill-defining what you're doing under the guise of preventing metagaming and seeking to later define it in such a fashion that it benefits you. I will work around this or wait for a ruling either way, but it is a bad thing to do and I am ashamed that you have done it.

The condensed wind shield I have now does not block attacks with sufficient mass to resist it. Bullets, being fast but light, are the ideal things for it to block. Continuing to bitch about this and exaggerate it beyond what it is capable of in an attempt to demean me is also /really/ shitty of you.

I also think that your conduct throughout this entire affair has been less than stellar, and that you may want to reconsider being as aggressive as you have the next time something goes poorly for you. This is not some casual fight, this is a tournament, and your acting as you have done does nothing but waste Innue's time, my time, and your time and demean us all.

@LeeRoy: Categorically no. I appreciate the situation, but my inclination to provide any form of leeway to Melon has long-since passed.

I didn't specify any distance, it only suggests my character moved backwards as cover and then relocated, which can mean any movement. Your character had no vision of my own, and therefore had no right to be reacting to his movements in her attacks, though I notice she still conveniently launched her attack in the area you presumed I was moving to, rather than trying to fire at the spot I was in.

You made your assumption, turns out it was wrong, my character took a step back and then ran off at a diagnol, as was fully acceptable under the description of 'relocation'

Okay, here is the timeline as I am understanding it:

You fire at me in three quick bursts. With the speed of the shots, I imagine that the first bullets would hit before you fired your last set of them. At your last burst of shots, I react to this by throwing the Namida no Fuujin at a tree at a central location approximately ten feet behind the first line of trees. During this time, you crouch and begin moving backwards (the specifics of which are still a point of contention).

Based on how this is running, and given that you have a four second time to achieve maximum speed (as stated in your bio), I am arguing that you can't have moved the distance you're claiming to given the timeline established above.

The primary point of contention is your lack of specification of distance and apparent desire to vaguely define your movement and then fill in the gap as appropriate in a later post. In my experience of combat, failing to define something allows the next player to define it - and while I am not attempting to define how you moved, my understanding of it was that you were backpeddling (which my post and thus assumption of the timeline is based on) and that that is the definition that would stick in my past experience.
After firing he had immediately dropped low and shuffled backwards, moving further into foliage to cover his relocation.

Could you clarify this for me, please? I understood this as crouching and backpeddling given that you haven't talked about turning in another direction or moving in any other way, and shuffling implies a lower speed?
@Melonhead: As far as I can tell, you don't have the time necessary to react with the way your current post is worded. I had my actions take place in the same time frame as your post before mine (and gave a specific reference point just for ease of use) in which events occur such that I'm throwing the wind bomb as you're beginning to backpeddle in that post.

You don't have the time necessary to complete the actions of your most recent post in this event, and I was wondering if you wanted to edit to fix the predicament?
Touho's reaction to the attack was immediate - her focus had been primed on the area, and the second the bullets were deflected by her condensed Megumi no Fuujin she knew that she had a small target area in which her opponent was hiding. As her right arm drew back as if to throw something, occurring as Jok had begun to retreat, her left hand made two movements, creating two symbols, before Touho's right arm sprung into action and she unleashed the newly formed ball of condensed wind energy, one of her Namida no Fuujin [Tears of the Wind God], in the general direction that the bullets had obviously come from.

She did not aim to hit any of the trees in the forefront, as that would waste half of the orb's explosion, but aimed to hit one of the trees a good twenty feet behind the forefront of the forest. Her orb would end up hitting a tree approximately ten feet back. This distance was slightly shy of creating the biggest possible explosion, but the rapidly expanding sphere would deal significant damage to the surrounding foliage if not to her opponent himself should it hit him - the desired effect was clearing out the foliage of the area, however, and any damage to her opponent was an added bonus.

After hurtling the orb, Touho prepared herself to move and strike while the advantage she sought to create presented itself, surveying the general area intently and preparing herself to react to whatever situations might arise from her recent actions.
Apologies for the late reply - I've been sick recently and am only just recovering.

I'll get a reply up when I'm able.
