Rather drained, Ariel went ahead and took the cuffs. Given what she just experienced it probably wouldn't be a bad idea. Not having any plan to fight back at the moment she lay down inrhe table with the intent to get that rest Tidius mentioned earlier.

One moment Lila was ready to tear into her companions, the voice driving her mad. And likely she would have had not the montra been shattered by a roar. The sound rang in her ears, drowning out everything. The grasp on her mind melted away. Taking a deep breath the constricting force disapated.

As her mind cleared the spider woman held her head. It still throbbed from the experience but at least she was herself. Turning away from everyone Lila shrank away. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..." whilst moving away she noticed the ruby color in her palm. That's right, there had been some runes coming from it. Feeling the spot it appeared that whatever it was could not simply be extracted by normal means.

Returning from the phone Kagerou nods a bit. "J'onn is on his way. He should be able to help her more with that." Estella seemed to realize the futility of communicating and stopped.

The alien girl looked rather frustrated until she heard another voice in her head. The Martian Manhunter had a lot of personal experience communicating with different species, particularly transitioning to English. Being another psionic they seemed to take fairly easilly.

For the rest standing around there was silence. Finally J'onn spoke. "I believe I can help her. From what I can gather her name is Esuteruraru and her arrival here was not planned. Given a couple sessions I'm sure she will have an easier time talking with people."

She went along to the table, laying down. It seemed that things had settled magic wise, which probably meant that whatever event had been going on was finished. Sitting quietly the mage waited for Tidius to return with the water. "Thank you." Ariel said as she accepted the water and took a drink. Finishing it off rather quickly she sighed and set the cup down. Musing quietly for a while she raised her head. "Sorry about breaking the lacrama. I probably shouldn't have done that." Rubbing her eyes a bit she tried to shake the feeling that had some over her. But that would probably take a while.

@Mokley The item idea I think would work well. It would explain better why people haven't been summoned there before someone arrives to trigger it.

"Yeah right." Turning back to face Tidius she seemed ready to fight. Interestingly enough it was her new magic that ended up stopping her. It wasn't quite like the others and in her inexperience with it, Ariel suddenly dropped to her knees clutching her heart. There was a moment of panic that beat out the rage. The few seconds felt like minutes before she switched to her Water magic.

Catching her breath Ariel's deep blue eyes drifted up. Despite previous indications this proved the magic could potentially be dangerous to her. "I-I'm sorry. I couldn't control it." Shuddering a bit she glanced at the door but was too weak and didn't have the drive for another attempt. Seeming to resign herself Ariel relaxed having just seen her life flash before her eyes. "I need some water."

She snorts a bit as Tidius threatened her with cuffs. She may not have her chain whip, but she wasn't going to just be a pushover. Scowling at her captor Ariel took an aggressive stance. The lacrama may dampen the magic in the area, but that didn't mean she was halpless. "You're not the only one that knows how to fight without magic." Up until now she hadn't really had the chance to scope out the room. Perhaps she should have done a better job when she was not being held back.

A thought crossed her mind and rather than going straight for Tidius the Blood mage snapped up an instrument and chunked it at the lacrama that was blocking the magic. Not a minute ago she probably would have welcomed the relief. But in this state she didn't much care what it meant. That set in motion she tried to make a break for the door.

STONES

Well I think that things have gone great aside from things being slow. I know recently part of that has been because of me. I wish we could hang on to more people because this is quite fun.

So far we've all been somewhat wandering. You somewhat have it in place, but I wouldn't mind starting to explore the ruins. Traps, puzzles, and the like. I also want the chance for our characters talk a bit more so we can flesh them out.

Abilities and things, I'm not sure. Lila already has quite a few inherent skills and abilities.
