I prefer group RPs and cooperation in between players. Usual characters are superhumans, half-human hybrids, cynics, and Nietzscheans. Usual settings are civil wars, blood feuds, and/or outside-context problems.

Name: Ronan Stark
Country of origin: United States of America
Class (AKA Specialty): Commando, reconnaissance.
Appearance: Without his armor, he has red hair and hazel eyes.
Bio: Originally raised by adopted parents, his life turned upside down after the Emergence Entity took over. He was put into a facility to indoctrinate him into the peace-keepers and trigger-happy puppets for the alien occupation of the planet; a generic goon for a one-world dictatorship! However, he refused to be their slave. Giving them the slip, he survived on the fringes and criminal underworld. During his time since escape, he formed valuable connections that helped him out more than once. This eventually led him to meet the upstart resistance movement, Project Griffin.
Shooting first and asking questions later helped him survive on the streets. A man of few words, he knew actions spoke louder. Over the years, he developed a doctrine against the aliens: Ronan prefers stealth first, then attacking with a barrage of buckshot.
Personality: As the first one in and the last one out, brash, brave, and bold are the three "B's" when on the field. Out of the field, he doesn't speak unless spoken to. He is selective in speech to reflect being a man of few words. Generally is no-nonsense in the fight for Griffin. However, he may have his moments...

Country of origin: United States of America
Class (AKA Specialty): Bombardier, demolitions expert
Appearance: Under the armor is brownish-to-rusty hair, and green eyes. He often shaves, leaving a stubble under the gas mask.
Bio: Born to Iranian-American immigrants, he was raised with two other siblings. They were all well off by the time the Xenos arrived. When his little brother was taken by the Emergence Entity, he stopped what he was doing and banded together with his sister to find him. He didn't think the Xenos were malicious until they came for the little brother. Working under the table with his sister, they eventually discovered Griffin and joined up.
Personality: Tactful and refined, Shahab is well-mannered and diplomatic like most of his race. His goody two-shoes demeanor may be irritating to the jaded, but he merely wishes to prevent his organization (Griffin) from stooping down to the Xenos' levels. The Iranian-blooded bombardier believes that if they act barbaric, they'll be just like the Xenos they hate. He also advocates a logical and open-minded approach, believing that "if you are too close to the elephant, you won't see the whole elephant." The big picture must be reviewed before taking action. His engineering background provides him with the mentality and the aptitude for being a bombardier and with repairs if needed.

Class (AKA Specialty): Apothecary, specializing in healing (Mender)
Appearance: Dyed dirty blonde hair typically in a bun, alabaster skin tone from avoiding the sun and copious amounts of sunscreen, brownish eyes typically concealed with sunglasses, and the overall size of a typical Persian woman. Her body is well sculpted and toned.
Bio: Like her brother Shahab, she was raised in by the same Iranian immigrant family within the United States. She was studying medicine and graduated from medical school before the Emergence Entity was founded. Lily briefly worked at the Miracle Centers the Xenos set up until she left and fled the city. Disgusted by what happened, especially as their youngest and little brother was kidnapped, she joined Griffin along with her older brother Shahab.
Personality: Persian princess on outside, humble on the inside. Lily prefers to get the job done rather than rely on others, with that mentality being shaped by her position as the middle sibling. She also has a habit of not trusting others outside of her family, as her brother was kidnapped by the Xenos. Alongside her brother, Lily brings everything she has to Griffin’s table.

Seamus was the new kid on the block. But that didn’t deter him yet. Isaac LaBelle already made his first impression to the Irish lad. Either a traitor or an untalented hack (for being caught) that deserved to have his kneecaps blown out. Execution would be too merciful. He spoke out regarding Mr. Labelle in a pithy manner.
"Back in my home, traitors have their kneecaps blown out. But what am I to say? I'm just an Irishman." If only he brought some Guinness with him. He'd be offering a few drinks to socialize with his compatriots. But he'd be pushing his luck, as he realized that not everyone shares the same tastes as he does when it comes to alcohol. While he was neither a drunkard nor a glutton, he did like to socialize over a pint. But that's for another time. He was about to sit down and chat up with nearby people...
Until he was suddenly shocked when the queen acknowledged him. “Begorrah! It would be an honor to team up with you, your highness. However, I do hope it would not be too troublesome.” The tone of his voice indicated a sober sense. Seamus hoped that an alliance with Paragon-origin royalty didn’t conflict directly with his mission. His facial expressions did express some skepticism as he overheard Encarnacion’s speech as he was listening to the brief.
This was a critical point. As the son of Mr. O’Sullivan, he had big shoes to fill in. Inheriting an agent status was no small amount of luck. His perception allowed him to pick up cues from the body language. It was time to play the cards right. After this, Guinness time. Circa year 2020: Mankind accidentally make first contact with seemingly friendly paranormal entities, who then sneakily take over from right under humanity's noses. The otherworldly entities used a wide range of tactics to take over without the use of invasion or brute force. Assassinations, bribery, blackmail, corrupting officials, and so on and so forth were used. Humanity wasn't punched in the face. It was punched in the back of the head. A one-world government called the Emergence Entity was formed. While many questioned how the governments of the world suddenly fused together, it was "explained" away by international unity and globalism. During the time of their arrival, nobody on Earth had a concrete reason why the otherworldly beings appeared and did what they did. Some believed they're here to harvest Earth and the resources while playing humanity like a puppet. Others did believe they have compassion for humanity. While actions speak louder than words, propaganda has muddled the lines between fact and fiction. However, it can be inferred that dissidence has diminished over the 2020s save for pockets of misfits that live in the countryside rather than the cities.
2035: To take back Earth, guerrilla warfare has been deemed a must. The Griffin organization was founded from the remnants of the old world. The founding members were ex-military, yet the membership became much more diverse, expanding it from a mere nuisance to a threat to the Emergence Entity. It is up to a ragtag bunch of misfits to save planet Earth from the paranormal beings' nefarious plans. To Griffin, it wasn't military might that made the paranormals dangerous. It was how manipulative they were. Griffin wasn't just a global organization. It was a mobile one, using the Nemesis; a converted supply craft stolen from the paranormal beings, all to ensure not just a worldwide influence, but also outmaneuvering the bulldozer of an enemy. Griffin took to calling them Xenos to highlight their strange and otherworldly nature. If you're heroic or insane enough to join the resistance, do it or become them! Long live the resistance!

Hmm... Alright, I'll just info dump my personal class overhaul for XCOM 2, and you grab whatever works with what you guys have in mind.
Ah yes! I'm glad you liked the name of one of our classes. It's not an XCOM-style game without idiosyncratic classes.
