Definitely. Will get started on app. I am going to claim a advanced EU (France, Germany, UK, Italy, Greece, Spain, Poland, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark). They will most likely control the named territories as well as most of Europe, be based on an artificial island within the English Channel. I may (with GM approval) take a few parts of Africa that would be at least somewhat welcome to the idea of stopping all internal wars under said EU, and a bit of the middle east might hold the same sentiment. As far as orbital holdings, Mars and Jupiter would be my two favorites. I will also have a holding or two in the asteroid belt. I am looking to play what the US is now if that makes sense.
Anybody want to join? I have proximity reasons to think about Italy and Russia, but long-range may work. I may make my nation re-discover a major scientific advancement, perhaps having to do with space.

Could you give me some detail on what, if anything, I might command? I have some guiding terms:
Fighter– 1-person craft, adequately armed for its duties, which is mostly cannon fodder and or brute-force-thousand-guns attacks.
Fighter Command– 1-person craft that commands other fighters, most likely more prominently painted and armored.
Starscraper– Think 'Millennium Falcon' from Star Wars. Capacity at 5 people. Probably designed differently, but functions the same. Great variation occurs within these.
Lesser Frigate– Approximately 7-person crews. mostly used for cargo, but a few protective weapons.
Medi-Frigate– 10-man crews or so, used to clear areas and are the general stellar-patrol craft. Fairy armed, but hey work better in groups of three.
Greater Frigate– Usually commands about 3 frigates, and probably has a 12-man crew. More geared toward defense, but equal if not better arms than the Medi-Frigate.
Subcarrier– 100-man crews arm this vessel, used to transport fighters and work as mini space stations. Thy are generally sent to places that probably need a full carrier, but military budgets send a smaller one due to budgets.
That is probably where I should stop. These are simply my interpretations as average space stations ranks. ou most likely have different classifications. Personally, I am hoping for Lesser or Medi Frigate, as I see that as reasonable, but you are GM.
